Absolutely blown away by Pet Magic - Gaby is a grooming superstar! I brought my dog in for the first time today and had the pleasure of having Gaby as our groomer. From the moment we walked in, she took the time to sit with me, explain every step of the process, and ask questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted and, more importantly, what would keep my dog comfortable and happy. I took my 4 month old shi tzu here for the first time and I was told he was very difficult and stubborn to work with (opposite of what my last groomer told me) When we got home I noticed he was really quiet and he layed on his back and i noticed these pink marks/burns on him. I'm highly dissatisfied and feel bad for my baby. Im not surprised he was acting difficult what dog wouldn't after getting cut/burned. On top of that, they took 4 and a half hours and she didn't tell me about the spots on him just said he was difficult. Lastly the cut wasn't what I asked for I would give 0 stars if possible. read more

Update-My Max has passed away since my previous review. But I have a new dog, Bruno, that I've been bringing in to get his nails ground. He's a Dachsi/Pit so he doesn't need anything else done. He won't let me do his nails, but when I bring him there, they're able to get them done in a couple minutes. No muss, no fuss, no screeching from Bruno. We have taken our dog here twice for the puppy package. The staff is kind and professional. Our dog is not the easiest to groom, he likes to move around a lot. The grooming appointment went well and the owner gave me advice on how to get our dog used to grooming at home. I like that she recommend the puppy package to build trust with our dog and let him get used to being groomed. I respect that she did not push him into a long grooming session and recommend that wait until he is ready for that. We hope our little guy will be ready soon for the clippers and we are happy we found a groomer we can trust. If you would like to tip be sure to bring cash. Oh this place was so amazing. I've never been to a groomer before and my 1 year old golden retriever/German Shepard's fur looked very matted and I could not for the life of me get her undercoat under control at the beginning of the summer. HORRIBLE. we have 3 golden retrievers that needed groomed and washed. It took them 9 hours and when we get our dogs they aren't even shaved or groomed. They are still wet and smell like wet dog. We paid $165 to get our dogs washed and half blown dry and HORRIBLE service. The lady was very rude. We kept calling and asking when our dogs would be ready and every time they called they would tell us that they would only be a little longer but ended up having our dogs for 9 hours. read more
