Brewski loves Camp Bow Wow and so do we! Our little puppy started here about a month ago and has since been boarded and done doggy day care multiple days! We appreciate the friendliness of all the staff and the care they provide for the pups. They all know Brewski by name during drop off, and are always talking about how well she did during pick up. *Bonus* the report cards after boarding! The thing that makes Camp Bow Wow stand apart from the rest is the ability to check in on your pup and the all day daycare included with boarding. We can't wait to continue to bring Brewski here!

Our puppy loves it here! She gets so excited to go to day care and see her doggy friends. Everyone is very professional, caring, and friendly. I find it very comforting that I can always check the cameras at any time to see how she is doing throughout the day. We have also boarded here and get her nails trimmed!

Photos are examples of my dog and his interaction with the staff. Never once was he aggressive to staff or other dogs.

Unprofessional, no training in caring for puppies, with separation anxiety. Untruthful lies. I was completely misled by the untrained personnel they have working there. I was told the staff loved my dog and my dog loved the staff. He spent a week there and previously he spent 3 days with Camp Bow Wow. No one on either visit mentioned he tried to bite anyone or anything. He had had two previous baths and no one had mentioned an issue. Last week my husband called for a shampoo and my dog he wabooked. I got a call from one of your staff saying he just wasn't having it. I said OK that's strange. They said they would credit our account for the nail appointment as he just wasn't having it. I had scheduled a two-night stay for June. No one mentioned that when my husband picked him up. The next day out of the blue I get a call saying my dog has been banned from Camp Now Wow. I was so upset I cried. All I ever got was great reports from the staff. What really upset me was how I just got a phone call. No discussion on how to avoid this upsetting situation. To just ban him cause you're pissed off. Not at my dog's as much as my Husband's. For example, you told my Husband to ask our dog what was wrong in a sarcastic way. He told me that the next day after that unprofessional call lying saying he had bit all the staff which is an out right lie. Used as an excuse to punish us for whatever words were exchanged between my Husband and your staff member. I will make sure I post and tell at least 5 people every day what a terrible establishment.

Ask the Community - Camp Bow Wow Tracy

Hello, is there a limit on how long my dog can stay, and what's the rate? Thanks!

There is no limit, but for stays longer than 2-4 weeks we may require consistent day care visits before the long boarding reservation. This helps the Camper get familiar with Camp and remain comfortable throughout their long stay.

Does this location have outdoor play yards or only indoor?

We have both outdoor and indoor play yards that our pups have access to all day.

A little backstory--Athena was a COVID puppy, so she didn't get the proper early socialization she needed, especially with other dogs. On top of that, being a Belgian Malinois, she has very unique needs. Her prey drive is incredibly high, and so was her anxiety. Walks used to be stressful--she would react to every noise, person, or animal. Even getting her into the car felt like wrestling a bear. After training with Olivia, it honestly felt like we got a whole new dog back. Athena still has some anxiety and that natural Malinois prey drive, but now I have the tools and confidence to manage both effectively. We now go on daily walks--often twice a day. I've taken her to large parks and on short hikes, and she's been amazing. I'm even planning to take her on a multi-day camping and hiking trip--something I never would have imagined before her training. The biggest difference is that Olivia didn't just train my dog--she trained me too. She gave me the knowledge and tools to continue working with Athena at home, and Athena has taken to it like a fish to water. It's such a great feeling to have a smart, engaged, and obedient dog to enjoy life with. I can't thank Olivia enough for everything she's done. I highly recommend Olivia and Countryside Canine!

She would pull on the leash to see any person that would give her attention, and was reactive to most dogs we passed. Through 8 sessions of training and beautiful instruction from Olivia, Cali is now off-leash trained with an e-collar, people and dog neutral, and has fool-proof recall. She's an entirely different dog. We get to take her along with us tons of places and be GLAD she's there instead of stressed about how she'll react. My husband and I seriously cannot recommend Olivia enough!!

This seems like a bit of a repetitive review…read more The good: Very clean. Very nice. Great hours and availability. The docs seem to know what's going on. They have a lot of staff on hand and specific prescription food. Their response for prescriptions to send out to Chewy is also very fast. The bad: Most of the time I call and they answer and ask me to hold (unless it' an emergency). I hold and hold ... and HOLD. In fact I have held sometimes over 20 minutes and nobody every comes back to help me. Just because it's not an emergency and I am willing to hold that does not mean FOREVER! After you help your customer in line then it's my turn please. Oh also, you had better have a LOT of money because this place will not start with the basic things. They immediately head right to the easiest way to make as much money as possible. Cat got a wheeze and lost a couple pounds? Let's run bloodwork for $650. That all came back fine? Oh ok, then let's do an Xray for $650. All clear there? Doc basically refuses anything else but an exam of the GI for $750. We pass on the GI test and the breathing get's worse. Call back and now they want to start the process over again with chest Xrays for another $650. How about starting out small and do some steroids or an antibiotic first? I guess that's not going to make them enough money. Imagine going into a doctor and saying you have a fever and a cough and they immediately send you in for Xrays and bloodwork and CT scans and an MRI just for the hell of it. Hey Jules ... Not everyone has a money tree in the back yard.

AWARENESS: I learned about K9 Development a few years ago…read morewhen my daughter brought her dog here to have Jack help with service animal training. Fast forward to today. I'm here to see Jack, who will be helping me to train my new puppy to help combat my on going PTSD issues. NARRATIVE: I can only write this review about my interactions with Jack, since he has been the only person I've had direct contact with. Jack is a true professional (aka: Dog Whisperer). My first visit with him with my pup was an indoctrination meeting. Basically, I sat and Jack watched how my dog dealt new surroundings and some unexpected, never had my seen before items. During the hour interaction with both my dog and I, Jack asked questions and gave me tips on how I can start getting my pup to reach the goals I expect and wish her to perform. Jack is patient. Attentive and like myself, gruff. I like that! SCENE: K9 Development is located in rural Tracy, off of Hansen Road, behind the Safeway distribution warehouse. The road getting to Jack and Amy's is a compacted gravel road with speed bumps along the way. The maximum speed limit is 10 miles per hour. No rooster tails unless you wish to find out what I mean when I say Jack can be gruff. RECOMMENDATION(S): Like I stated, I can only speak for my interactions with Jack which thus far have been fantastic. I have talked to other dog owners who have taken their dogs to see Amy for training. Those conversations were all of phrase too. If you're in need of dog training, boarding or supplies, go see the folks at K9 Development. I'd recommend it.

TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!…read more I am very surprised by all the 5 star reviews....Jack was extremely unprofessional. He made many rude, racially insensitive jokes. Smoked cigarettes throughout the entire one hour training session. Mind u he was smoking so close to my daughter who was attending the class with me with not a care in the world. We had to move away from him because he kept chain smoking throughout the lesson. He was telling endless stories about his childhood and how his dad would beat him with a belt and how he voted for trump and other political topics. (There's nothing wrong with talking politics, but there is a time and place and this was not it) he was very loud and obnoxious he cussed like a sailor. No professionalism. There is some very serious redneck culture here.Put down the cigarettes for an hour and have some respect for the people paying good money to learn from you. It was a Very unfortunate experience. My daughter and I were really looking forward to training our puppy and learning with him but after the first class i just could not return. I will not be back. No thank you. Even my daughter felt uncomfortable when leaving the facility. Not cool.
