Love Jackie's! Now that we have a large dog, it's easier for us to bring him to Jackie's to bathe because they have everything readily available. It's walk-in no appointment needed, and they have several tub areas with everything that you need to groom your dog from soap, brushes, towel, towels, large blow, dryer, aprons, bandannas, and cologne! Folks are very nice and there's plenty of parking! read more

I used the self-service pet wash for my husky-malamute mix and Karen was soooo helpful. She provided shampoo, conditioner, an ear muff headband, and all of the tools needed to groom my giant dog! The service is very affordable, helpful, and easy! Grooming your own malamute is difficult, so I left with a grooming appointment for next month. I highly recommend this groomer! read more

I wasn't even sure where to start when looking for a groomer who truly knew how to do poodle haircuts--until I found Bryant. I used to travel pretty far to different places, but now I won't go anywhere else. Bryant is an excellent groomer. My two poodles always come back happy, and they look amazing every time. On top of that, I live just 5 minutes away, which makes it super convenient. I'm very happy and highly recommend him!I've recommended this place to my sister and a friend, and they're both extremely happy with the service! If you're looking for an excellent place to groom your pets, Jackie's Dog Grooming is the best in Manteca. Highly recommend! read more

I love this spot! I have a long haired Sheppard and she clogs all my drains and makes a mess. I use the self service here and it's a game changer. $20 and they provide the tub with a sprayer nozzle, leads to secure your dog, shampoo, towels, combs, and a dryer. The nice lady working there even stopped and trimmed my Sheppards nails. No clean up other than the usual towels in a basket. Non slip mats for the pups and an apron for you. Perfume spray and bandana included. They are cash only though, u learned that the hard way. But they were so nice about it! read more

The shop from the outside looks a little dated. The inside looks a little crowded. However, I did not bring Raven to judge the devote. I brought her to be groomed. The young man who took her back was an awesome groomer. He did a head to tail grooming and her nails were perfect. I recommend this grooming facility. Raven looked great and you can tell she was well treated. I have never seen her wag her tail and smile at the grooming salons she has been too. read more

My baby had the best experience.. she is a rescue. They showed kindness too her.. kinda feral still.. but I love this 5 lb baby

We take our chihuahua mix once a month for her nails , bath and general grooming. Very friendly staff at a reasonable price. Call ahead to schedule appointment and generally they take about an hour or so. Overall we have no problems or complaints read more

The woman who runs the shop is a gem! She's sweet, patient, honest and knowledgeable!

I've been coming here few years now with all my dogs for self wash stations. Perfect set ups, helpful staff and overall much better than hurting my back at home hunching down! Highly recommend. My big CC hates baths and this helps me out a lot. read more

So glad I came across this place! Both of my fur babies were so clean and smelled so wonderful when I picked them up. This was our first time there and I was a bit nervous about our one year old as she is a ball of energy and thought for sure they would be calling me to get her early but they toughed it out with her and they were so kind when I told them about my worry. My interactions with three individuals were nice and they were so friendly. I am definitely going back. read more

I recently took my two dogs in. I had called the day before and was fit right in. I wasn't sure how well one of my dogs would do (he usually gets a bath at home and is crazy around other dogs) but I was told he did great. He was scared at first but she bathed him with our other dog (how sweet and thoughtful). They both came out smelling amazing and their nails were perfect and coat looked great. I usually take my other dog to PetSmart but this was by far a greater experience. read more

Leaving it at 5 stars although I haven't come again since my first time. Unfortunately, they're not taking any new clients or folks who haven't been in awhile. I called today and a few months back. I'll try again in a few months. Wish I lived closer (located in the Bay Area) so I could've used their service regularly. What a bummer! read more

Absolutely the best customer service! Our 9 year old German Shepard has never been professionally groomed, we have always brushed him ourself or washed him ourself. So we were definitely skeptical about how well he would do if someone else groomed him, but he did so well! They did a fantastic job of getting his undercoat fur and shaping his face. He is so handsome, thank you Jackie's dog grooming! read more

If I could, I honestly would leave 0 stars for a rating, as my husband and I were so appalled by what we saw. We had an appointment this past Saturday to have our dog groomed for the first time at Jackie's. We walked in, and the groomer clearly did not hear us arrive. She (someone with colored/dyed hair), was in the middle of grooming a small white dog. She was holding the dog upright by his/her front legs telling the dog to "stop", repeatedly. She then said the to the dog (as the dog is yelping, twisting & writhing), that she was "not letting go". We were so disturbed by what we saw, that we immediately walked back out and have made arrangements with another groomer. I feel horrible for that dog. There's no way I would leave my dog there to be treated that way. read more

I AM A MAJOR SUPPORTER OF SMALL BUSINESSES & I just wanted to say thank you for treating my dogs like family every single time I come here. Now that we have adopted Lexi into our lives, it was great to see how you welcomed her with arms wide open. Thank you for not discriminating against the "bully breeds" and thank you for treating every dog as an equal and like family ! Happy Valentines Day from Lexi, Smokey, And Enis! Thank you so much for making their custom Valentine's Day bows and giving them such a great experience! We'll be back again read more

Decided to switch groomers since Petsmart is so expensive and was really pleased with Jackie's Grooming. The ladies really seem to care about the animals and have a good knowledge of different techniques and styles. This place is awesome and I support local businesses. I originally had a appointment with a different groomer at a different store but the date was far out and I didn't want to wait. My wife called jackies dog grooming and we scheduled to have our kitten washed and cleaned up. I was impressed with the customer service and friendly environment. The employees definitely care for animals and the work is impressive! I will definitely keep coming back and giving my business to local places! Thank you Dana for taking care of our kitten. read more

I took my uncles Alaskan Malamute here to bath him. The people were incredibly sweet. She helped us get him in the tub and even let us use their blow dryer. I attached a picture of how much hair came off him. They didn't even mind the mess we made! 10/10 recommend this place. read more

Super attitude! They all seem to really like working with the dogs. Excellent grooming skills!

I called late today, Saturday, to see if they had an opening to trim my long haired daschund mix. They were able to take her at 5pm. They had no problem grooming my dog at all. She looked so cute when i picked her up and her hair was cut just like I asked. Glad I found a place I can leave my dog and not worry. read more

I've taken my Goldendoodle gunner to Jackies for 5 years. Karen has been his groomer the entire time. She has always done a fantastic job on gunner. When you read the about us section on jackies web page. What it says under Karen's name, is exactly her. She is always soft spoken, kind, gentle with gunner. She does take alot of pride in grooming gunner. Sometimes as customers we can be difficult to deal with when it comes to our babies. I was alittle on Gunners last visit with Karen. I feel just awful because Karen is truley a wonderful person. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JACKIES. read more

DO NOT LET HEATHER TOUCH YOUR DOG! Ok, this happened once before but to happen again is just too much. I have to say something now. My family has used Jackie's grooming for years (when Jackie was the original owner) and Dana used to do all our animals but ever since Heather started working there, I'm afraid to take any dog there. The first time Heather cut my uncle and grandmas dog, he came back with a HUGE gash behind his ear. She didn't tell us about it at all but we figured it was an accident. I started to trim him until his gash healed but I am not a professional groomer so we took him back a couple months later. Heather told my uncle that she had to muzzle him and I was curious as to why when he has never given me trouble when I cut him. When he came home, he jumped up on my legs and when I went to pet his head, he cowered and shook. I inspected him to see what was wrong because he NEVER does that. He's a playful little guy. Lo and behold, not only one cut but several. By his ear, his leg and even his genitals were gashed! When my aunt called to complain we were asked to bring in the dog. Why would I bring in the dog to a place he's obviously traumatized by? Apparently pictures and the word of a long time customer wasn't enough. NEVER coming back again!!! Lost a 20 year customer! read more

I'm not sure why I've never reviewed this place. I want to take the time to apologize for that. My little guy Buzz has been coming here for as long as I can remember. My family and I moved to Manteca about 12 years ago and before that he went to poodle parlor. During a brief period we would take Buzz to pet smart because it was easy and fast. He would always come back in a bad mood and a little scared. One morning while he was at the groomers we received a phone call telling us Buzz could no longer go to pet smart because of his temper. He isn't the most friendly and VERY untrusting. It takes him awhile to warm up to people so I could understand why He is a rescue and is very territorial with his family. When we brought him in I was just a kid in high school and at the time all I knew was that he would get great haircuts from here. They never told us not to come back, they would always take him in with open arms. When I started driving I would come and pick him up and he would be sitting on an office chair waiting for me. It always makes me feel really good knowing he is taken care of here. He'll be 18 in September and I don't trust very many people with him. Yesterday before he went to the groomers I had some anxiety about letting him go. His hair was long, pretty matted because of how long it was, and to be honest, he looked like a dirty mop. My room mate told me when he dropped him off they were excited to see him and greeted him by name. Upon arrival, I could see my handsome boys eyes again! They always have a way of taking him from dirty mop to new puppy. Anytime I have friends ask me where to take their dogs to get groomed I tell them about Jackie's. I've trusted them for years with my best friend and they know him by name. Buzz isn't scared to come here, and he'll willingly walk into the back with them which lets me know that they take great care of him. I truly am thankful for it and all the wonderful people who have worked with Buzz over the years and will continue to work with him. :) read more

Great grooming services. My cat came home so cute, clean, and happy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back again! :)

Love this place. That's all I can say. I do the self serve and it's totally worth the price.

Staff was super nice and helpful...very reasonably priced as well for a self bath. I will be bringing my dogs back again.

We went here for the first time, we are new in town. I usually groom my dogs at home so I wasn't sure how they would do. Jackie and her team were great in getting us set up for the self grooming stations, providing all the supplies we needed - aprons, warm shampoo, towels, hair dryer, etc. My dogs really enjoyed it and the team was so helpful. We will be back! read more
