The workers here are really nice and friendly! The food isn't bad, especially for the price since everything is pretty affordable. The portions are a little small, but you get what you pay for. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're looking for a quick and inexpensive meal. read more

Yori Yori - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

This spot is a staple for quick and comforting Korean food, conveniently located inside 99 Ranch Market. The food is satisfying and reasonably priced, making it a solid choice for a casual meal. Service is also quick. I ordered the beef ribeye + tofu soup combination for lunch. While it's not the best Korean food I've had, it definitely hits the spot when you're craving something warm and hearty. The side dishes, however, were not good. Overall, it's a decent option for a quick Korean meal, especially if you're already shopping at 99 Ranch. read more

This place is located inside of the 99 Ranch Market and one of my favorites for Korean comfort meals. The employees are always so nice and I love getting their recommendations when wanting to try something new! My go-to items are the beef bibimbap and black bean noodles. Both dishes are so filling and worth the price! The bibimbap stays hot for so long (since I'm a slow eater, this meal is perfect) and the noodles are just so good! Both meals come with banchans (usually kimchi or pickled radish) and I just eat 'em all up! If you're ever grocery shopping at 99 Ranch, stop by here for a quick bite! read more

3.5/5, filled me up at least! a treat from being hungover. beef bulgogi every time hits.

The best!!!!!!!! I love yori yori, my kids love yori yori & my husband loves yori yori. YOU will love yori yori! The short rib is a must! And the beef udon (not spicy for kids) is also a must. You're welcome read more

The only complaint I have is the limit of sides that usually comes with Korean food and one piece of napkin that was given to me. I ordered the combo. The seafood soft Tofu was spicy enough to give that kick and the beef ribeye bulgogi was tender and well marinate. The onion is not fully cooked so if it's not your thing then you might not like it but I think it gives a crunch and goes nicely with the tender bulgogi. The side was broccoli and some kind of potatoes that I didn't care much for. Overall good eat! read more

Yori Yori - Soft Tofu and beef ribeye bulgogi combo - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

Very solid Korean restaurant! Located in 99 ranch supermarket. Convenient for grocery shopping and grabbing lunch/dinner all at once. Prices were reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants. Ordered the bibimbap w/ beef and the soft tofu soup with beef/seafood. Both were priced at 8.99$ each. Nice, hefty portions and each dish came with 2 sides. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend these 2 dishes. The soup was my fave. It had plenty of seafood (octopus, squid, shrimp, mussels, clams), lean cuts of beef, and veggies. The flavor of the broth was aromatic and not too spicy. As for the bibimbap, it was good and filling. It came out steaming hot in a claypot. I just wished there was more beef and veggies in the bibimbap. The rice to meat/veggies ratio heavily favored rice. Also, they had a free water station. Overall, definitely worth another visit due to its convenience, value, and tasty food. read more

Bomb bomb bomb. If you know what to order this place is absolutely amazing and much less expensive than most Korean restaurants in the area

I ordered the beef stew when I came in. It was super spicy, the beef was really tender and just melted in my mouth! The prices are very reasonable, and you get large portions. A side of kimchi and pickled veggies, as well as white rice came out with my stew. If you're in Katy and in the mood for good Korean food- stop by ranch 99 and head to the food court! read more

Ngl, pretty good Korean food in 99 Ranch Market! I had a stir fried seafood rice bowl for lunch one Wednesday, and it was pretty bomb. It came with shrimp and scallops, to name a few proteins. It came out *steaming* hot; and I'm proud to say I could capture that steam in a photo. :) I really liked the kimchi and sweet potatoes that came on the side. Overall I thought the dish was very flavorful, reasonably priced, and large in portion size! I'd order this again. Service is quick and friendly. Seating is plentiful and it wasn't very packed the day I went. Parking situation: on-site read more

Tucked in Ranch 99 but worth your time after you're done shopping and feeling hungry. The service was actually good and provided us with her personal recommendations. We decided to order the stir-fry squid and the Bulgogi lunch plate. They were both a hit! Packs great variety of flavors and portions were just right for 2 ppl to share. Each entree does come with miso soup as well. The stir fry squid had to be my favorite since it adds the right amount of heat and zest in the diverse ingredients. Will definitely come back for more! Tip: the seafood noodle soup and black bean noodle are also popular choices! read more

Yori Yori - some menu items - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

Stopped as I was in the area and have been wanting to try them out for awhile. Really enjoy being adventures with eating and have come to love Korean food and stir fried spiced squid! Had this at Tasty KO about two weeks ago and felt it was over priced and found it here to be a good price, well spiced, good texture (cooked correctly), enjoyed the vegetables and the two sides. The Kimchi could have been more fermented, but still good. Staff was nice and happy to help. Will be back to try other items read more

Yori Yori - Stir-fried Spiced Squid! - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

I am so happy I perused the food court of 99 Ranch Market last week to see Yori Yori there! For home-style Korean food, Yori Yori is my new lodestone. My two favorite Korean dishes of all time are dolsot bibimbap (hot stone bibimbap) and sundubu jigae (soft tofu stew). If a restaurant can make those two dishes to my liking, I am a repeat customer. I have now tried both dishes at Yori Yori and I am in -love-. I have a very sensitive stomach, and Yori Yori's cooking is clean, filling, healthy, and I have had no displays of "how could you do this to me???" dramatics from my stomach. I am now on my fourth visit... in just one week. Thus far I have only taken food to-go, and they will include with your order a free side of rice and some banchan (side dishes). So far I have had gamja jorim (glazed potato), eomuk bokkeum (stir-fried fish cake), and jap chae (stir-fried glass noodles). All have been great! I haven't had their kimchi, but I have that at home and have no need to ask for it. I am giving them a 5 because for what they are, a quick food court-style stop, they are amazing. I have had Korean food at stand-alone restaurants that were inferior to Yori Yori. One thing to note is that they only accept cash for orders under $20, so break out your dollars and cents and try Yori Yori out! read more

Absolutely love this place! Everything I've tried is delicious whether it's the chicken stir-fry, soft tofu soup, spicy/non-spicy cold noodles, or rice bowl, it's all very good and very authentic.. and at a great price! If you love Korean food, or have yet to try it, this is the place to go! Even with more Korean restaurants opening up in Katy, this is still my 'go to' when I'm craving some of my native comfort food. read more

Affordable and tasty food! Very convenient to eat there after shopping in 99 ranch. My fave is spicy squid.

Located inside the 99 Ranch Market on the corner of Kingsland Blvd and Mason Rd, Yori Yori offers delicious Korean combo dishes at reasonable prices. Your best bet is to take advantage of their daily lunch menu which runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. I recommend you try their BBQ Beef Ribeye ($10.99) which is outstanding! The young staff on location was friendly and food didn't take too long before coming out; it was served beautifully on wide white plates. Food portions are reasonable but contrary to other Asian alternatives, not generous enough to split with someone else. I decided to try their fried rice with shrimp ($7.99) and found it a bit bland so I'll just stick with their white rice on my next visit. Overall, Yori Yori is a great option should you want to take a break from the usual Tex-Mex menu every now and then. -JF read more

I have to this review cause this spicy pork bulgogi is literally best I ever had. I'm Korean not local here I'm from korea you know what that mean is I don't like local style Korean food. I like real taste of Korean food and I just moved to Houston from Hawaii. Hawaii has a lot of Korean but I never had this good spicy pork! And so far I had ddukboki (spicy rice cake) which it's bomb as well and spicy squid, seafood tofu soup!!!! Whoever in kitchen truly know how to cook real Korean food very good. I'm more than impressed cause this isn't even a big Korean restaurant. It's inside ranch99 market who would expect to be this good!!!! Even my 11years old son who is VERY VERY PICKY approves it!!!!Thank you I'll come back more often!!!! read more

The beef bulgogi was great. The Korean Fried Chicken was great also. I would recommend stopping in, especially if visiting the Ranch 99 this is located in. read more

We always come here at least 2 times in a month, simply we like their food. If you have kids and plan to eat there, be aware not to feel welcome. And Today the guy/owner told us to eat at food court seating area not his area if ordering from his restaurant because after we ate, we (us and 2 kids) always make a mess and he does not like that. I told him well then we are not coming again and he answered that we do not have to come back, and he does not care. So he wants the business but not providing service (clean up) by saying order here and eat at food court area? FYI we always clean and put our trays at the cart. Do we need to clean the floor too after we eat there? Very rude! read more

I am not a big Korean food person, more of a Chinese and Vietnamese, but for the few Korean restaurants I have tried this is my favorite. The food tastes very fresh and is well flavored. They do have a $20 minimum for credit/debit cards, but that is offset by their great prices compared to the other Korean restaurants in Katy. The service has always been real friendly. Yori Yori - Spicy Beef Soup and Spicy Pork Lunch Special - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

I can't believe what happened today at Yori Yori in the 99 Ranch Market in Katy - ordered my food and after waiting for 10+ minutes, the cashier told me that my order is the next one coming up. Waited for another 10 minutes and saw 3 other people picking up their food and mine was still not ready. Went to ask her again, and she said "we have technical difficulties cooking your food and can give you a refund." "I WISH YOU TOLD ME EARLIER!" She was so rude that she didn't even say Sorry. read more

I have gotten food here two times, and I had good experiences with both. Since I take the Kingsland Park and Ride, I stop by 99 Ranch once in a while since it is nearby. One great aspect of the store is its small food court with delicious food. I go to Yori-Yori whenever I crave cheap but good Korean food. My favorites there are their pork bulgogi and tofu soups, particularly the seafood/beef combination. Not only is the food good..the staff are usually friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would recommend this place for those craving for fast-food type Korean food. read more

Food is good but owner has a bad attitude. Never coming back again. He needs to learn better manners.

Delicious! Mind you, I've never had bibimbap and wish i had before today because I can eat it all the time. I ordered the beef bibimbap. It came out in a hot bowl of deliciousness with a side of kimchi and marinated tofu. For only $9, it was so filling and yummy. Hubs ordered the beef ribeye bulgogi and that, too, was so good. At first we thought it was a bit pricey ($16), but after getting the food and tasting it, it was worth it. I thought the onions should have been cooked a little bit more, but that may be their norm, and that didn't deter us from saying it was delicious. Don't dismiss that the place is in a food court, it measures up as well as a stand alone restaurant. Side note: they have a minimum of $20 to use a credit card. read more

Really good Korean food. Price is definitely worth it for good food. Ordered a lunch special Korean bbq plate and I also ordered fried dumplings. They were small but so good. Yori Yori - Forgot to take a picture before I ate! But it came with a bunch of fried dumplings haha! So good! - Korean Near Me - Katy, Texas

It's located in a food court. Food was well prepared and served hot. Think it's fresh and tasted very good. Will likely go again. Recommend the food. read more

This place is enjoyable and pleasant. The antiquity it brings to its taste of cultural that indulges each bite, is a nice place to casually sit and enjoy a great meal. Lunch or dinner. I would give it 5 stars, but it is too overpriced. I wouldn't not recommend coming here with a family. Perhaps a nice date. By the time you would want to enjoy dessert, you'd at a price peak of paying a top notch restaurant. If yori yori is reading this, change your prices to a much reasonable state, and only then will this establishment last and grow. read more

Really bad "Korean" food!!! Like most Asian born people, I'd like real authentic Asian food, not the Americanized Asian food. Most often I find Korean restaurant food taste "real" good to me (OK, I can't claim I know what "real" Korean food is. I'm Chinese, but you get the point). I've tried Korean restaurant many times in many cities whenever I get the chance. This one is the worst by far. Last Saturday I ordered 2 dishes from this location. Boy, they suck. They are not like those Americanized food either. They are not sweet nor with lots of sauce. They are just plain not-well-cooked dishes. The spicy sea food tofu is so watery. The beef bulgogi is ridiculous: it s just dry BBQ-ed chucks of beef piled on some vegs. The beef and vegetable are not stir-fried and the beef is hard to chew. (By the way, the only other "weird" beef bulgogi I remember I've tried was one I ordered a couple of yeas back in Cincinnati. That restaurant used ground beef for bulgogi. My family complained, and the owner was nice enough to waive charge for that dish. We paid for it anyway). Let's not forget the side dishes. This is the first time ever that I've tried kimchi made from the normal green cabbage. IT'S A MISTAKE AND IT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE KIMCHI AT ALL. Can't they get Napa cabbage from the 99 ranch where the restaurant is located? All in all, after spending close to $30 for 2 dishes I was still hungry (no one else in my family wanted them, so I have the 2 dishes for myself). If you enjoy real, normal Korean food, forget about this one. There are real Korean restaurant not far away down the road. Or if you'd like inexpensive take-out Korean food, try the one inside H-Mart by route 10. read more

Hi Katy, this is horrible Korean food. Don't let them dumb it down for you. I ordered bulgogi that was inedible; sooo salty, like chewing on congealed soy sauce. It had definitely been cooked a few times or yesterday. I told them this and they said that's the way it's supposed to taste. Yikes! The cost is the same as a sit down K restaurant, but the quality is worse than any mall food court. Blech! read more

We called this place to eat there by mistake. We normally eat at the Yori Yori in H Mart on Blalock and I did not know there was more than one Yori Yori on Blalock. If you search Yori Yori on your phone, it just shows the address, not the location like it does in a Windows browser. Anyway when we called we asked if they were at H Mart. They said yes. Then they asked us if we knew they were in H Mart and we said yes (it must have been three times to confirm they were in H Mart). Apparently the person on the phone doesn't know the difference between Ranch Mart and H Mart. Anyway we ordered the pork bulgogi and when we got to H Mart Yori Yori, they said they didn't have our order. So we went over to Ranch Mart and got our order. The good thing was they had their own sitting area and you didn't have to fight the crowd for the limited table space at H Mart (I really hate that - you order and someone has to sit at a table to reserve it because there are so many restaurants packed in there). The bad news is their food is NOTHING like Yori Yori at H Mart. Their pork bulgogi was mostly onions; hardly any pork. The pork that was there was stringy and devoid of very much meat or taste. (think of under cooked thin bacon) The pork at H Mart is sliced 1/8" grilled pork and is delicious. There is so much meat at H Mart Yori Yori that you can hardly finish it. This pork bulgogi was so bad I couldn't finish it (mostly because the meat was so chopped up you couldn't eat it with chop sticks). This is a totally different kitchen and nothing like the food at Yori Yori in H Mart. This is the worst I have had in a long time; I will never go back there. Avoid. read more
