Buy you some. Iykyk.

Do it. Eat it. Enjoy it. Get laced. You want real deal "someone's mama made this" level. They do it. But they aren't making stuff to order. We already know who's in the back cheffing up some marvelous shit to get your mouth watery.

Located inside Hana World Market. It's one of the unit in the food court. Service is quick and friendly. They have many tables in the area to share with other restaurants. Food is good and affordable.

Duk Mandu Guk (rice cake dumpling beef soup) with Kimchee (cabbage and radish)
Jeff B.

Yoree is located in the food court of Hana Mart. It offers a pretty extensive menu of Korean dishes. I have eaten here a few times, and each dish I have had was delicious. Yesterday was no exception. I ordered Duk mandu guk (rice cake dumpling beef soup). It comes in a large bowl with lots of rice cake and beef. There are several dumplings as well. The broth is beef based and milky from the rice. The restaurant also puts an egg in the soup as is in many Korean dishes. The soup is not spicy but warm and delicious. This is perfect during the winter. Yes, of course there is Kimchee. Yesterday, they served me with both the traditional style plus an additional bowl of radish Kimchee. For me, this Kimchee was not spicy and a little sour but not bad. It is a self-service restaurant for the most part. You order at the counter and get your napkins. utensils, and cup for water. There is a water dispenser to fill your own cup. Then, find an open table and wait for them to call your number. If you get carry out, there is a fee of I believe of 50 cents or 1 dollar depending on your total bill. Also, they prefer cash and not a debit/credit card. Don't worry. They do take cards, but it is a little inconvenient since you have to go inside Hana Mart to the cashier and pay, then take the receipt to Yoree to get your food. The seating is open and plentiful. It is clean and organized well. It contains tables and chairs with benches along the wall. Although not fancy, Yoree offers delicious food at a reasonable price, and it's a good place to grab lunch or a quick dinner!

The food was really good! I didn't expect there to be a food court inside a market like that but it was awesome. Many different places to choose from and I'm glad I chose this one! The side dishes were really good :)

Dajei Bulgogi

Today I came in for lunch with Thing One and we ordered one menu item each. Let's go! Spicy beef and vegetable soup Yukgaejang Now, I've had this menu item before but not from this establishment. What is this? The soup is slightly spicy, savory, and comforting. Yukgaejang is served with a bowl of rice, kimchi and other Korean side dishes. The yukgaejang served here was watery, lacked flavor and was served with Ramen noodles, (say whhhhhhhat, who dose that?) and lacked nearly any beef. I was thoroughly unimpressed with this menu item. In my opinion, homemade yukgaejang is better than yukgaejang at a restaurant, because you can add a host of hearty ingredients. Daeji Bulgogi- Spicy Korean Pork If you like your food with a lot of kick, daeji bulgogi won't disappoint. It combines sweet and heat with tender, thinly sliced pork for a great combination. Dwaeji-bulgogi uses Korean-based chili pepper flakes, garlic and ginger to bring the heat. This dish had very little heat and if heat in this case were measured on a Richter scale, it would be a 2. Thing One didn't mind this as he is not the biggest fan of spice. Frankly, this dish also underperformed in the flavor department as the traditional elements that are the base for this dish were muted. Overall a valiant attempt at Korean soul food, but this experience was a miss for me.

Nasty. We ordered no spicy and it came out spicy. I took it back to the counter being that it was inedible. they were so confused. They did not understand what I was saying they kept saying "you want more spice?" Just ridiculous. I know you know enough English to know exactly what I'm saying I just don't like these games people play manipulate And then the side dishes that come with the soup are extra gross. It was just really unpleasant. The veggies in the veggie soup is only tofu cucumber and onion. Really?! No noodles no vegetables. All the seats are torn walls are dirty. The one thing that was really good is that they have help yourself egg soup, but the sodium content is so high your blood pressure will probably shoot out of the top of your head.

Great price for great flavor and size. Jjajangmyeon: Highly recommended. The sauce is flavorful, the noodles are well cooked. It comes with cabbage and radish kimchi (they're average but help cut through the dish) Pancake: It's HUGE. Still has that crispiness on the outside and has plenty of seafood inside. *There is self-serve free soup at the counter near the utensils. I had Korean egg drop soup there a couple of times but the most recent one was soooo salty that I couldn't finish more than a couple of spoons. I do think that's a one time thing so you got nothing to worry about *They do charge 25c for each to-go box and $1 flat rate extra for take out so make sure you order enough to finish there or bring your own container to take home. Solid choice for Korean food in Austin with a good price

Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab in sizzling stone bowl. Yay for crispy rice on the bottom!

Nothing hip or fancy here, folks, just reasonably priced, authentic Korean dishes, made-to-order and fast. Think basic soups, noodles, rice dishes, and banchan (sides / pickles). Other neighboring stalls have come & gone over time, but Yoree seems to have enough fans to stick around. We've been eating here for years when we have a craving for dolsot bibimbap (#27, spelled Dol Sot Bi Bim Bab on the posted menu, currently listed at $12 up from $9 during the pandemic, still a bargain) and don't want to get dressed up or wait too long to eat. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, the "dolsot" part of the name means this flavorful rice meal is served in a scorching hot rock or ceramic pot that will continue to caramelize the bottom layer of rice as you devour the assortment of veggies, fungi, pickles, proteins, and sauce from the top. If you get the included runny egg garnish (and you should), be sure to work some of that yolk down to the bottom rice for an extra treat in the crisped rice, aka socarrat (Spanish) or nurungji (Korean), that you'll scrape up at the end of the meal. Bonus is that we can do some quick shopping for groceries and household goods at Hana World Market next door, then pickup a great tea and dessert at the stand in the front entrance on the way out the door. - Phone-in orders and take-out available. - Cash only at the order counter, but you can pay with credit card inside the grocery store. - Open 11a-8:30p daily. - Masks required for entry to the food court and store.

Nak Ji Bok Gum. Not bad

Food was okay. Bland yet spicy. Spicy by itself isn't flavorful. Service was terrible until a group of Korean guys came in then the woman at the front became friendly all of the sudden. Also, if you don't bring cash, you'll have to pay next-door inside Hana market and return with a receipt of payment. Super inconvenient especially if you have to stand in both the restaurant's and then the market's line. Food was bad enough to not bring home any of our leftovers. The beef broth had tough meat and they were stingy with the octopus. We won't be coming back for rude service nor their food. Meh.

gamjatang pork neck bone & potato soup
Ruby C.

Three stars for variety & price. 1.5 to 2 stars for taste. All based on the gamjatang and jjm. JJM was sickeningly sweet. Even adding gochugaru didn't save the dish - tastier but still too sweet. Better off buying JJ sauce and making at home. Gamjatang = least amount of meat I've seen in this dish and meat looked and tasted like it had been frozen for a very long time. The base was full of kimchi and tasted like kimchijigae rather than GJT. The broth was so hot the kimchi was overboiled almost to a mush. Kimchi given as a side is okay. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong dishes here. I've seen people order the dolsot bibimbap.

Jajangmyun - noodles with black bean sauce
Thu T.

I always come to Yoree for jjajangmyeon and pancake. Huge portion at a very reasonable price. The sauce has good thickness and is very flavorful. It comes with kimchi and pickled radish. Pancake is panfried to perfection - crunchy texture on the outside but soft on the inside, scallion is not over cooked inside either. They also have a hot self-served soup pot that changes quite often. The ones I've tried are Korean style egg drop soup and spicy vegetable soup. Both are delicious. The broth of egg drop soup is super clear with no single drop of oil. One thing to keep in mind is they charge 25 cents per to-go box, so you gotta come with a big appetite. Their portion is big, so if there's a chance you may need to take it home, be prepared and bring your own containers to avoid the charge. For to-go orders, they also charge a flat rate of $1 for boxes. Surrounding food stands come and go so often but Yoree has been standing strong for years. Very good little Korean food stand in the area.

For a food court restaurant, not bad. Especially for Korean food in Austin. Ordered the noodles with black bean sauce...not a typical Korean dish, but was feeling it. Will be back for other dishes.

been here for several years! service is quick, tax isn't high. i always enjoy the seafood noodle soup and scallion pancakes with my mom. the noodles are sweet and VERY filling, including many vegetables. i've also tried the jjajangmyeon-- not a big fan of it in general, so this was okay! dishes usually come with kimchi. always love how there's egg drop soup at the front! it's so hearty. they offer water at the side as well!

Drove 20 min to try their Jjajang but they were sold out. Cashier lady wasn't helpful, just said she was sold out then turned her back.

We ordered the ox knee bone soup. The soup was great and had lots of meat in it! I was surprised by how many different side dishes it came with because usually food court meals come with bare minimum. I would highly recommend this place - the location is kind of hidden in comparison to the other stalls with bright signs so I can see why people end up eating the other places tha this spot.

Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Narrow Street is my go-to for my Korean food fix!

It is a quaint little place, not too big of a space so luckily they did not have a wait when we went. I give it a five star review because of the sushi. The food for me was good, not the best like not great, but it does satisfy the Korean food craving. Presentation of dishes was so nice and fun, the sushi was on fire literally. They start you off with banchan-kimchi, macaroni, onions, and fish cake. It's standard, nothing outstanding, but they do give free refills! 1. Taimatsu Roll - My favorite dish we ordered. It's saucy and has a nice play on textures because of the crispy fried bits on top. It is stuffed with a sizeable piece of tuna and has a sweet mayo sauce. It is definitely more fusion leaning rather than traditional. 2. Dak-Galbi - A spicy chicken dish with sweet potato matchstick slices and rice cakes. There could be more rice cakes and flavor. It was not spicy at all, more of that sweet savory taste you get from gochujang based dishes. The chicken was super tender and there was a good amount! 3. Beef Rib Stew - This was a warming stew with glass noodles, it is a basic soup that is salty and peppery (some may think it's bland). It comes with a bone in beef rib that is fall off the bone tender! Overall, while the food wasn't the most outstanding, I would definitely come back to try other items (namely the sushi). I would also love to try the inari tofu pockets I see online (not sure if they still have that though since I don't think I saw that on the menu). Also, their other fusion leaning dishes like the carbonara tteokbokki sounds interesting.
