We order breakfast from here regularly because of living in a household with dietary restrictions. Yolklore has always been great at meeting the requirements for lactose free. They always write on the lids to our smoothies which ones have the vegan yogurt and which ones do not. We ordered DoorDash and got four smoothies. Two of them were supposed to have yogurt. There was no writing on any of the lids so we called to ask if there's a way for us to be able to tell which ones are vegan. The employee on the phone told us that they were too busy to write on the lids right now and that's why that happened. They then told us that we didn't even order vegan yogurt in any of our smoothies. We told them it says on our receipt we did and we got charged for the vegan yogurt. They tried to maintain that we did not order vegan yogurt. We told them we did and we had the receipt. They then told us "oh yeah you did, we're gonna make two more and you can come up and get". We told them we DoorDash and didn't have a vehicle right now. After a ridiculous back-and-forth, we came up with the idea to just refund us for the smoothies and we'd place a new order regardless of how long it took. They said that would work and we placed our order for only two vegan smoothies. When they finally arrived, there was nothing that implied vegan yogurt in either of them so we called them back to double check, they were very frustrated and rude with us on the phone, even though we were not expressing any anger. They assured us it was vegan yogurt, even though it didn't say it and my wife drank one and before finishing it her stomach got wrecked painfully and she threw up because it actually did have regular yogurt and not vegan. I can't express how much we've patronize this place and how awesome it used to be but after the bad service and the attitude we got while we were not putting any out I will never go to this place again. They are not the only breakfast in town and I find this whole situation disgusting from a patrons standpoint. read more

My husband and I dined here yesterday. It was a first time visit. Dining area not huge so we snagged a table before ordering at window. My hubby ordered classic breakfast, eggs, bacon and ginormous biscuit came with. I ordered the frittata, and we got a small piece of blueberry coffee cake. Coffee cake was good and moist but very sweet. My frittata was delicious, perfect size with local sourced mushrooms on top and some sort of sauce drizzled on top which was perfect. Wow what a disappointment, last few times great today a small disaster. First very loud, can't help that too much but nothing in there to absorb the sound, all hard surfaces. Oh how I love Yolklore. The just released the new menu so of course I had to come back. This morning I had the build your own breakfast sandwich - YUM! I love being able to customize a meal to what I'm feeling that day. Today it was a biscuit, over easy egg, bacon and lemon herb goat cheese. Delicious (but I don't think you could pick a bad combination) As always my boyfriend had their breakfast burrito - thank goodness it's still on their menu otherwise he would revolt. We ordered for pick up through their website (on a Thursday morning around 9:30am) and it was ready in under 20 minutes. We tried the biscuits and gravy (REALLY good). Biscuit was flaky and the sausage gravy was delicious. The frittata comes with a goat cheese spread (the spread had a citrus flavor to it; we will order that on the side next time...it was a little overpowering). The breakfast sandwich is the perfect breakfast sandwich with crispy bacon and runny egg on a fluffy biscuit. The baked oatmeal and breakfast burrito were our two favorites! The baked oatmeal has a wonderful texture and is filled with cinnamon flavor and apples. The burrito has a southwest vibe and pairs well dipped in the gravy. Unfortunately, we found Yolklore to be very over-hyped. We did dine-in for breakfast on a recent Saturday morning. We ordered one mimosa, and I asked if I could get that while we waited for our food, and we were told no, it would come out with the food. 15 mins later I asked if I could please get the mimosa since the food was taking a bit, and they told me I was supposed to have gotten the mini-champagne bottle myself and have been given orange juice already, and apologized for the other staff member's confusion. We waited almost 30 mins for food (only one sandwich, one burrito, one side of potatoes - and they weren't that busy), and they never even said our name when the food was put on the counter. After a couple minutes of seeing that no one was going for the food on the counter and thinking it could be ours, we finally asked a staff member, and it was ours. I'm also not sure why places like this ask for tips when they're not providing service? You order at the counter, pick up your food when it's ready, get your own silverware, napkins and drinks, and then clean up your table when you're done. What am I tipping for? Nearly $45 after tax and tip, and we would've gotten better food and service at a McDonald's. Such a bummer. Only giving two stars because the food truly was delicious, just not at all worth the wait, the work, or the cost. read more

In season I add the tomato jam. The seasoned potatoes make an awesome side, I recommend the jalapeño cream sauce to dip them in. My better half loves the egg and chorizo burrito. The fresh squeeze orange juice maybe a little expensive but so worth it. Service is excellent. I've been a regular customer since it opened. Over the last couple of months the service has absolutely bottomed out. It's TERRIBLE. They close whenever they feel like it, and don't make any announcements ahead of time. They are supposed to be open until 2 pm Wed - Sun but I can't count the number of days I've been here before 2 pm and they're closed. Lots of times lately they don't even bother to work the drive thru. They just let us sit there until we drive away. Today I sat at the drive thru almost 10 minutes. Nobody waited on me. I called to see if they were open. No answer. Voice mail message hasn't been changed since Christmas a year ago. 2024. I called again. Someone answered and said they were open. I asked why nobody was working the drive thru. She said they only had one cook. This is RIDICULOUS. They lost business today because ppl in the drive thru lane got no service and drove off. But you can always order to go. If you want to avoid going inside, order at the drive-thru instead. Always, always order the fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice. My most favorite dish here is the baked oatmeal. It's made with a seasonal fruit (most recently peaches, but I've also had apples) and topped with yogurt (a vegan yogurt is also available) and local honey. It's served with fresh fruit or potatoes. I've never ordered the fresh fruit because the fried, smashed potatoes and never disappointed- served a little crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, well seasoned. They have weekly specials posted on social media that someone with me always orders. Never disappointed unless they are sold out. The drive-thru is efficient, especially during the current dining room shut down. They are even offering local milk, eggs, bacon for sale as part of a mini farmers market alternative (order ahead on their website). read more

A quick bite to eat that's so filling and rich in flavor I got in 15/20 minutes before closing at 2pm, felt so bad, but the staff was really accommodating and friendly! The food was delicioussss! My first bite was of the crispy potatoes that were a little sweeter, but also just the right amount of salt. I loved how they had Mission Taco sauces that I tried with the potatoes for an extra kick! It was much different than Chalupa or Sriracha (which I admired them for having)! I had the Nest Egg and my friend got the Johnny Ham Hands. Came here for breakfast with my Mom and saw it's got some pretty amazing reviews on Yelp. The menu had just enough options that it wasn't too overwhelming so I opted for the breakfast wrap/burrito and my Mom got a traditional breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, & bacon. My wrap was okay the combination of turkey chorizo, egg, and potatoes were well balanced but left a little more to be desired flavor wise. I am a vegetarian and love how many options I have at Yolklore. There are also gluten-free options which I appreciate for my friends who don't consume gluten. We're out of town but have family in the area who highly recommend Yolklore! It wasn't our original plan, but we needed breakfast and they were doing a benefit day for our niece's preschool, so that combined with the stellar reviews, made for an easy choice! Making a choice was truly difficult - every time I thought I decided I'd change my mind again (and same for my husband). I ended up going with a build your own breakfast sandwich and had no regrets. I had to go with a biscuit (because it was house made), egg, bacon, cheese, and the avocado cream sauce. It ended up being more of a fork and knife meal because my mouth isn't that big, but it was every bit as delicious as it looked! The husband had a breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, potato, and a biscuit and gravy. The gravy was stellar and aplenty - he let me snag some dips with my sandie. The star of the show for us both was the breakfast potatoes. Such a unique style of roasted and smashed, but we love gold potatoes and I'm honestly a bit sad that no one else does that style around us (at least that I know of). My husband and two kids walked in on a late Saturday morning just before noon. The reviews were accurate when they said this place is small. I thought we were going to have to sit at two separate tables. They have a large community tables put together in the center of the dining area. Luckily for us some people got up so we were able to sit together. At this place you order up front and then they call your name once it is ready. There was no wait and it didn't take long for our food to be made. Food comes out on some type of recycled paper tray. I ordered the BLT and added an over medium egg and it came with a side of potatoes. I did have the option of getting fruit instead but I did not opt for that option. I wish they would have given me more than two potatoes but it really was enough with this nice size sandwich. It tasted pretty good, it came with devil sauce that had a slight spice to it. My husband ordered the slinger and it was massive. I am not a fan of chili but it was okay. He really liked it and was not able to finish it. My son ordered the classic kid breakfast that came with one very small pancake, 1 egg, a choice of meat, and fruit. My daughter ordered the breakfast sandwhich and it was nice size. My only complaint was that the seats was very uncomfortable and I wish there was more seating. Before we left they gave us two free house made pop tarts.
