We went for dinner and we tried the chicken dish with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts also the Ruben sandwich. Both were large portions for the price, and both were prepared perfectly. So pleased that this place exists just 10 minutes away from me! My partner and I have been many times now, experienced a few seasonal menus, and we've loved just about everything they put out. Our top dinner picks are the Mexican street corn steak dish, my personal favorite, and the pork chop, and the chicken dish too. The poke nachos are also always the app we get. Though, I really don't think there's a bad pick out there. When we're there for lunch, or I'm feeling boring, they have sandwiches too! I can't even begin to describe how grateful I am that they serve GF fried chicken!! And to make it even better, it's actually really good too! The service is impeccable. In just a few visits, we've gotten to know some staff and it's just the best when they remember my allergy :) The space is so thoughtfully designed, plenty of two tops, and larger tables for bigger groups. Coming from living in massive cities where restaurants like these cram as many tables as they can in, it's refreshing to be able to hear my partner from across the table. My BF and I absolutely loved this having dinner here. Our waitress was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable, and everything she recommended was spot-on. Don't skip the focaccia - chef's kiss! For a small restaurant, it was completely full at 7:30pm with one table to spare, so with no reservations, we lucked out! By 9pm they were closing but didn't rush us out and let us kindly finish our drinks. It's worth mentioning that their kitchen closes at 8:40pm so you'd want to arrive by 8pm. Thank you Yolked! 5/9/25 My wife and I had lunch there. I had a dozen Merepoint oysters (a ten), and the tuna tartare (a ten). My wife had the scallop risotto and felt the risotto was too "soupy" and that the scallops were overcooked and rubbery ( I tasted one and agreed) Our waiter, whom I had had last visit, seemed lost with two tables to serve. I counted six staff on hand out front for two tables. I'd suggest a team approach to waiting on tables. Bottom line: I'll be back for the oysters and tuna, but will never get my wife to go with me. Yolked Farm to Table is Windham's answer to FINALLY having an upscale gourmet eatery where you don't need to travel to Portland to enjoy! We were patrons of Yolked when they were just a food truck! Every meal we have ever ordered has been well-portioned, and unique in flavor. The seasonal menus offer many great choices. My favorite menu is the winter menu with delicious comfort food choices. The servers are attentive and friendly, the ambiance is great, and they seem to be working on dulling the "loudness" problem by installing acoustic panels. Our only complaint is during the winter, if you happen to be seated at a table close to the door, you may get a blast of cold air every time it's opened and closed. The service was very welcoming on the way in and our server was attentive and friendly. The parking lot was a little confusing, but inside was warm and comfortable. We had an appetizer of tenderloin crostini that was perfectly balanced and very filling. We then had our main courses of Brined Pork Chop and Brick Chicken. Both entrees were absolutely delicious. From the visits we've tried: caesar salad (huge and tasty, we brought half home), lobster mac and cheese (loved it, very indulgent), pork chop (our friend loved it), salmon (again very indulgent, tasted great, probably a bit rich but lovely) and aloha bowl (good not great probably only thing we wouldn't reorder). In a sea of fast food and mediocre restaurants that deep fry 90% of their menu Yolked offers an oasis of finer dining. Shout out to all kitchen staff- the appetizers, entires & desserts were well made & we will be back for the food alone just hopefully with better service. They offer great variety of cocktails & Mocktails. Wine & Beer could've had more choices. Also I have to add they do not have regular hot coffee or espresso. I had ordered a cappuccino with Baileys (which the server said she could do). Well the server brought over an espresso martini... I asked her what it was and she said "what you ordered is about the same as an espresso martini" I confirmed "so not a cappuccino w. Baileys?" She relied "No". from the minute you walk into Yolked you can tell you're somewhere special. The space is elegant but homey, and while its roomy it also feels intimate. The evening I was there with friends was a weeknight and while we were there early for dinner it was plenty busy. Our server was totally on the ball, and struck the right balance between friendly and helpful. He also had plenty of jokes up his sleeve to entertain us! I have been here twice and both times enjoyed a great dinner. This most recent meal was incredible - I had the scallops with handmade rigate, sun dried tomatoes, and a cream sauce. It was divine! I also enjoyed the focaccia for an appetizer and took a slice of carrot cake with me to enjoy later (so glad I did!) I can't believe we have a restaurant of this caliber in Windham! Went for our anniversary, a poor choice in retrospect. We started with cocktails and apps., the focaccia and mini beef Wellingtons. The focaccia was ok but a very small portion for $10.00. The Beef Wellington consisted of 3 very small pieces of beef, flavorless except for the garlicky mushroom duxelle. The pastry surrounding the mix also had little flavor. The Tuna meal we both ordered was ok (6.5 out of 10), but again a VERY small portion for $49.00. Seared tuna with some chopped cucumber "salad" on top, sticky rice and ponzu on the side. Nothing imaginative to the meal or presentation. Best part of the meal was a slice of Apple caramel cake, although Apple was lacking in pieces or flavor and caramel was an afterthought drizzle. Service was very rushed and inconsistent; meal was rushed out literally when last app bite was completed ( bread was only half eaten). Server seemed not well trained on meal or meal spacing (the fast meal arrival may be a kitchen issue). I attempted to speak with a manager who came by briefly but came off as abrupt and not wanting to speak with a customer. Also, for a $200 dinner I'd expect servers in more than a Nike hoodie- a uniform color and shirt style seems more appropriate for upscale casual they are going for. Overall we came with high hopes and left very deflated, very disappointed with the experience and saying we "lived and learned,never again". read more

They charge fine dining prices but only allow 90 minutes to eat a three course meal and will ask you to leave your table as soon as your 90 minutes are up. I have never eaten at a restaurant where I was asked to get up from my table and leave. This is a terrible policy/dining model when you are charging fine dining prices. We spent almost $300 on a dinner for two and couldn't enjoy it because the service was rushed and we were constantly reminded of our time limit. I called the manager to give this feedback and she was rude and combative with me. The prices on your bill of fare are in the stratosphere for Windham, Maine. Maybe folks will shell out what you're charging in Boston or New York and maybe your market is the affluent seasonal tourista. Yet, for us who are locals who do t have deep pockets we will patronage Pat's Pizza. Your food may be other worldly and if so that's cool. If I can offer one piece of friendly advice it's to read the book, "The E-Myth". If you do you will understand why I am offering this suggestion. read more

We are usually very happy with Yolked. The food is great, servers very nice and it's a nice atmosphere. However, the last two times were not up to their previous standards. They are not very flexible, and were not able to accommodate one additional person, so we had to sit at the bar, which negatively impacted our celebration. As a side note, their bar seats are the smallest / least comfortable seats I've ever sat in. The next time we were told we only have 1-1/2 hrs to eat as the next group is coming in, despite being on time. Steak was overcooked and they ran out of desert by 6pm. Lastly, the owner / manager doesn't talk to her customers and frankly doesn't appear very happy. Your customers are your lifeline, if you can't show up happy and cater to your customers, you might be in the wrong business, despite a great concept. read more

We went here for our 25th anniversary yesterday. The place was empty but we were still seated next to the exit door/fire exit and fire extinguisher at a table the was beyond small. Our waitress was nice but had no knowledge of the menu. We know this because while waiting for 30 mins for our food the other waiter was very vocal about the dishes we should have ordered. My Husband ordered the steak which was completely over cooked and was bite sized. I ordered the salmon which I honestly tried to not show how I felt about it. I guess I do not have a poker face. It was one of the worse dishes I have had. It looked nothing like the discription or any of the on line pictures.
