Let's do a comparison of this fast food joint next to the many other littered along 302 in Windham. This place is the best. I go here occasionally (buying actual meals at fast food spots I try to avoid, but the occasional chicken sandwich or french fry is more my style) and the workers have always been friendly and fast. I love their all natural lemonade, with little bits of lemon floating in it. It reminds me of the fair! It's easy into the parking lot and easy out. If 302 is busy, head out the back way to the traffic light by Home Depot. As far as fast food in the area, this one has the nicest workers and the freshest food. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible but I tried the new loaded nacho burger which was pretty good until about half way through when I bit down on a ROCK! Wendy's is pretty much the only fast food place I will go to. The burgers are "fresh, never frozen" in the taste, as if that advertisement is true. They supposedly offer baked potatoes, but they never make enough to last them through the day. Their non-carbonated beverages seem above average, and their food always seems fresh. Husband and I just went through drive through; order taker was rude and impatient. Sour cream and chive potato did not have sour cream. No packets in bag. Hair in my chic sandwich. I called back and person that answered phone said "sorry about that, if your in the area you can come back for the sour cream packets...." . When I said, "that's it?!" HORRIBLE experiences here time after time. I normally love Wendy's, especially their french fries. But this location is absolutely the worst! Each visit is negative especially late night. But this last visit was particularly horrible. We ordered two biggie bags with nuggets and a burger and fries. They were out of chili, of course. We got to the window and asked for a side of mayo. Then before we pulled off, I said "I'm sorry, I forgot to ask for ketchup". Then he grabs a single packet of ketchup for two orders of fries and drops it in the bag and closes the door before I can say anything. He sees me waiting there, ignores me for a minute and then comes back to the window all huffy and I say actually can we get like a handful of catch-up? Then, without a word, he grabbed a handful of catch-up and dropped it in the bag and slammed the window closed again. We pulled off, and the fries were, of course, completely old and stale. So we had to drive back and ask for new fries and wait for them to be fresh this time, hopefully they didn't spit in them... Then we noticed that they didn't put any of our sauces in for the stale chicken nuggets, but by this point, we just figured it was a ruined trip and we didn't go back to get our sauces. These employees are horrible! They don't know the first thing about customer service or providing quality food. Who owns this place? Whoever they are, they are doing a horrible job! This place just needs to be torn down and something else put up that can do a good job. was there today 10-8-2023, the manager ( i assume) was very loud and upset about being so busy. he at one point said the f word, while constanly being rude to his staff. the staff all have long hair in their face, the kid on the counter shook his head and flicked his hair we were shorted a burger as well but didnt want to go back in due to the terrible staff. read more

I didn't mind that my sandwich was wrong. It happens. I worked in fast food for a while, I get it. But when I took it back and explained that the bacon burbon burger was missing bacon and had three patties instead of one, the employee was EXTREMELY passive aggressive and rude. "Well first of all I don't have bacon," he said. This was not communicated when we ordered, but fair enough. If he doesn't have it he doesn't have it. "And I haven't made a triple in a long time," he asserted, refusing to back down even when we opened the sandwich and pointed out the three different patties, and handed it back to him. No sorries or admitting he was wrong, just a new sandwich with a snide "thanks a lot." when we pulled away. All I wanted was the sandwich I ordered and the same respect I showed the workers. This was the second year in a row that we stopped in with our soccer team after 5 days of training in Casco, ME (well a bit misleading...I help coach, the players train). Anyhow while the food between Wendy's is consistent, the service and cleanliness can vary from store to store. Twice I have been impressed by both at this Wendy's.
