Quick service, nice karaoke singing inside and lakeside for a breeze and a view. Just had drinks, I had a really nice selection of iPas I never had before, wife had a mocktail which she said was a sugary mess. I drank it and thought it was fine. Other two drinks at the table were good, plus they gave us many waters. A thumbs up in my book.

This place looks like it would be "so so" but really has great food. We've been here a couple times lately and have really enjoyed their food. You get the atmosphere of being lakeside with a beautiful view without all the tourism "gotcha". I've had the Black and Blue burger twice now and loved it. Patty is hand made with lots of flavor and good sweet potato fries. Fish and chips cooked perfectly with great seasoning. Servers were very friendly and prompt. Highly recommend this family rest.

Friendly staff and solid bar food! Big patio right on the lake. Lots of options on the menu too. Will definitely return!!

Rude bartenders. Poorly run establishment. Unprofessional. The lakefront is nice, but a dump otherwise.

Food is mediocre at best and expensive. Take a pass, but for us it was one of two places open.

New expanded outside seating area. The food is really good for the price and the drinks are excellent. Definitely give this place a try

We tried this place twice in the last two weeks while our kids were performing at the Deertrees…read moreTheater. First visit was nice as we sat out on the side patio overlooking the small brook that flows past. We just had a couple apps and drinks and our server was very nice. Last night we went back for dinner and sat at the roof top bar/patio area. It wasn't busy so the one server was handling us and another table nearby that were friends of ours. The outdoor seating and deck games here for the kids were the highlight. The server was nice as well. What brought our review down were a couple things. On the roof top bar they serve the otherwise nice craft cocktails in small plastic cups instead of glasses. It's hard to pay $16 for a nice drink out of a 6 ounce plastic cup. The bigger issue was I ordered the Cobb Salad and was only told after it was delivered that they were out of avocado (a main ingredient in a Cobb Salad?). The waitress apologized for not telling me in advance, which was a little weird as it meant she knew when I ordered they were out. She did take 20% off the cost of the $20 salad but if she had told me in advance I would have ordered something else. Also you can add chicken to the salad which I did and asked for "buffalo" chicken expecting some fried tenders in buffalo sauce. The plate came with a few very small strips of grilled chicken breast drizzled in buffalo sauce. Grilled chicken with buffalo sauce? That just seems weird to me. Anyways nice atmosphere, some nice staff, $200 before tip for four people? There's a lot of competition in that area so we will probably go back for a patio beer sometime and maybe an appetizer but not a full dinner at that price.

I hadn't heard…read moreof Fluvial before, but when I saw it pop up on the map while in the area I knew I had to check it out. I'm so glad I did -- it's gotta be one of my favorite breweries in Maine. Definitely top 5. The views here might just be the best in the whole state. You get stunning mountain and hill views, which were especially beautiful during our fall visit. There's plenty of outdoor seating with tables, chairs, fire pits, and even some covered spots. The indoor space is small but cozy. The beer pours were fantastic. The menu was a bit limited, but there was something for everyone. Their NEIPA and DIPA were incredibly smooth, and my partner said his pumpkin ale special was amazing. They also offer food, which was a nice surprise. We ordered the pretzels (3 pieces for $10) and they were delicious. I can't wait to go back.

It's off the beaten path, but with a great vista. The beers are fantastic - smooth and flavorful... we are getting sick of bitter IPAs, and the selection here has the hop flavor without the bite. Fluvial hits home runs on several styles, and to top it off, live music that I actually like. What a great place to spend a warm Saturday afternoon!

That being said, the male staff members are unbelievably sexist every time I go. I've gotten hit on by the bartender who proceeded to get my order wrong and tell the random man standing next to me that "chicks can be so god damn annoying" when I asked him to grab the drink I ordered from the fridge behind him. The bouncer told me a couple of days ago when i was at the front of the line that "with that kind of behavior you'll never find a husband." I don't know what behavior he was even referring to, but extremely disappointed by my experiences at the cage.
