After trying multiple spots in the area around 5pm on a Saturday, there was a 30+ minute wait everywhere but here. The inside is spacious and was fairly quiet, with soft classic music in the background. Upon being seated, I was immediately greeted by my friendly server and ordered a drink. The sushi looked great, but I decided to start with the chicken lettuce wraps. It was very messy to eat, but that's expected. It's just basic iceberg lettuce with sauced chicken and veggies, and it was very flavorful!! I also went with the basic chicken pad thai. It was decent, but not the best I've ever had as far as flavor, and it could have had more peanuts. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for the sushi based on the reviews! The other day, I finally decided to have a sit-down meal here and similar to all my other experiences, it did not disappoint. There's just no getting a bad meal or poor service here, regardless of how you order. The food is always fresh, done quickly, and the family that runs the restaurant is super sweet! Upon entering, we also noticed how clean it spelled in there! My 14 year old daughter was first to make the comment and we all know how oblivious teenagers can often be when it comes to cleanliness. This time around we enjoyed the chicken satay, sweet potato and shrimp tempura maki rolls, and the chicken hibachi meal. Everything from the service, food quality, and ambiance was amazing. Seats were so comfortable! The service was amazing, they didn't have a changing table but they put some chairs in the bathroom so that i could change my daughter- and they were very nice about it! First time we had tried Eagle Sushi and we were not disappointed! This place does not jump out at you. It sits a little back from the road. The outside is lackluster to look at (some landscaping would go a long way!), but don't let that stop you from giving it a try. We tried crab rangoons, the sweetheart roll, Eagle's Prayer, Dynamite, and cooked spicy scallop rolls. All were delicious! The crab Rangoons were homemade and full of yummy filling. They were not greasy. Eagle's Prayer was pretty with different colored roe on each piece. The Sweetheart and Dynamite were essentially the same roll with spiced crab on top, and either crunchy shrimp or spiced tuna inside. My favorite! Everything was fresh tasting, and had a good amount of filling. We normally head to Portland or South Portland for sushi, but will head to Windham from now on! read more

Great service! Great food! Clean! Private Parking Lot! Five stars right there! The staff was so friendly and welcoming as soon as we peaked our head in the doorway. They welcome you like you are family visiting at their home, very hospitable. The food is fresh and made to order. Expect the order to take the amount of time as if you were making it at your house with fresh ingredients that you have to cute, sauté etc. Our server knew based on our order that it would take some time, so she brought complimentary soup and it was hot and delicious especially welcomed given the very cold afternoon of black Friday shopping. When I walk into a "new" to me establishment, i look around carefully. I didn't look too hard, given there was a decent sized crowd, especially for 2pm on a Friday afternoon. The floors, seats and tables were spotless. The hibachi area wasn't occupied and it was very clean and ready to be used. The decor is simple but tasteful. The food was so delicious. Not over seasoned at all, but perfectly where it brought out natural flavors of the ingredients. I loved my beef ramen. The beef was so tender...and at first I didn't see noodles...but as soon as I dipped by chopsticks into it, oh, there were noodles. About a third of the bowl was yummy noodles. So happy. The avocado sushi was perfect and plentiful...i ate them way to fast because they were sooooo goood. My husband's udon noodle dish looked delicious and had a perfect portion for a hungry person or enough for two share. He loved his California rolls as well. The prices were quite reasonable. Living near Conway good sushi options are hard to come by, so I was very happy to find as Eagle sushi as an option for when I was near and didn't have to go into the city. Tinky and her husband were the managers/ operators/ owners? They had a great menu with lots of flavor and options. I can back last year and found new owners and a whole new menu operating under the same name. The place that earned my 5 star review first is no longer there. Food and menu is completely different and has dropped significantly in quality and flavor, with of course, an increase of price. A once convenient location for great sushi is now just another mediocre, over priced sushi place. Guess it's back to driving another 30 into the city. read more

We have driven by this place hundreds of time and never stopped in because it always appears empty and the exterior of the building lacks curb appeal. For all food, but especially sushi, the place has to appear immaculate inside and out for most people to "trust" it. We were pleasantly surprised walking in at how the interior appears clean and has been renovated within the recent past. We started with a Mai Tai, which was good, not great, but for the price ($6.50) a great value. It was only let down by the lack of a garnish. A simple maraschino cherry and pineapple on a bamboo spear would elevate the drink a bit. We had the crab rangoon, which was excellent (seriously excellent). We then tried the dynamite roll which was very good also. They also have hibachi options, without the sit down experience. The filet was good, if a bit over glazed, the rice was good and the vegetables were a solid 5 star. Perfectly cooked and a great mix of vegetables. If the owners cleaned up the parking lot with some simple landscaping and plantings and parked the employee cars out front (I know, not usually recommended, but they need the "boost" of appearing busy, then I feel the customers will show up in droves. Easily as good, if not better then Hana at a very good price. I would recommend that you give this a shot. It is very close to being a hidden gem in the area. read more

We got the Maine Roll, Pink Lady, Perfect Roll, Crazy Tuna, Avocado Cream cheese, crab Rangoons, and pineapple fried rice. The rice had cashews in it which I was not aware of but everyone loved it. I probably wouldn't order crab Rangoons again. Overall our favorite roll was the Maine roll. All of the sushi was good and the rolls were very large. Worth a try for takeout. read more

The lobster was frozen and all of the rolls had cucumber (not stated on the menu) and neon green wasabi that looked more like playdough than wasabi. Wonderful little restaurant with menu items including sushi, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. Serves bubble tea and other sweet drinks. The service is always polite and friendly. We always sit in the area with the booths. This is comfy and cozy with throw pillows. Just make sure to watch your step getting in and out of the booths as they are raised one step level. There is always soothing music playing, warm/sunny lighting, and a generally calm, peaceful atmosphere. Parking is easy. I did not expect to find wonderful sushi this far out in Maine, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The fish is always super fresh, and they don't rely on fillers like other places (in other words, their rolls are beautifully crafted and not half-stuffed with stupid cucumber.) The spicy tuna? Don't get me started, it's to die for. The salmon and avocado? Such fresh fish, and they somehow manage to capture the avocado during the half hour of its lifespan when it's perfectly ripe. I've also had a bunch of their cooked teriyaki meat selections, which are all juicy and flavorful. I personally don't order this restaurant from services like GrubHub or DoorDash, because they take forever and threaten the food quality that Eagle works so hard for. Once when I was waiting for GrubHub, Eagle even remade my food so that it would be fresh when GH finally deigned to arrive.
