Have been here several times for dine in and take out. The food is always fresh and delicious and the owners are so nice! read more

This is a solid 3 stars- not four, not two. read more

Surprisingly, good Thai food in Windham. My family and I decided to go by for an early dinner. I think they're mostly used to pick up orders, so if you dine in everything is served in take away boxes. I asked what the server's favorite dish was (not most popular, that's obviously pad Thai) and he told me the drunken chicken. I ordered it, and it was delicious. I really really enjoyed it. We also ordered chicken satay, and it was very good, I love that they brined the chicken beforehand. Definitely give this spot a try, and for sure order the drunken chicken! read more

Really great Thai food! It is the best around. The owners are so nice and service is excellent. I get takeout here often!

The owner, Manny and staff, Eg, are the best! They're very friendly and called my husband by his first name the 2nd time we came back. Needless to say, we were there almost every day for the delicious food when we stayed for a couple of weeks in Raymond! My son loves the curry with chicken. I usually order the shrimp dumplings which are very tasty. We'll be back next time we're in ME! read more

Thai Place Restaurant - Yummy curry! - Thai Near Me - Windham, Maine

The food is very good. Perfectly cooked. Only complaint would be- every time I order pad Thai- I have to order it with extra sauce- sometimes they forget- and I have dry noodles. They only need to sauce it it up a bit more so it's not so dried out. read more

I highly recommend this place to anyone driving through town like we were! The owner was so nice, and he had some great jokes too. The pad Thai, both 2 and 3 spice, was amazing and hit the spot just right. I also loved the Thai tea. 10/10 lunch for me! read more

We ordered takeout from this place when we were visiting Grandparents house in Maine. The grandparents never had Thai food before and they really loved it. We thought it was pretty fresh as well. The fresh spring rolls were delicious and the sauce was light and sweet- the curry was light flavorful, and the veggies were fresh and crunchy in it - the lo mein and graprow dishes were also very good. All in all we thought it was good Thai food. read more

Excellent food, and the friendliest service in Windham! I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal.

Really bad. Everything served on plastic. Fork, cup plastic. Food served in to go containers with lids. The food itself. Seafood soup not too bad. Shrimp dumplings--- not edible. No idea what "the shrimp " actually was. What a waste of money !!!! read more

Love this place ! Have known the owners for years now and don't go anywhere else for Thai food. Everything I have had on the menu is amazing. They never disappoint! read more

I got the drunken noodles with vegetables, 4 spicy, and it was very good. Among the top I've had in terms of that specific flavor I'm looking for when I order it. The vegetables were plentiful and varied. The portion was very big also, dinner and lunch the next day. read more

Great Chicken pan Thia - wonderful flavor and fair portion size . Great addition to Windham!

I've eaten at Thai restaurants all across the US, and as traditional Thai goes this is among the best. We had both the larb and the gaprow, and both the flavor and the portion sizes were great. Some folks seem to be annoyed by everything being served in take out containers, but non-franchise restaurants have a terrible survival rate, and I'm fine if that's what they need to do to serve great Thai food at reasonable prices. 5/5 would visit again. read more

Delicious Thai food. I love the Coconut Curry & Massaman Curry. Really tasty fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Also really great customer service read more

I love Thai food, so when I was in the Windham area, I stopped here to get takeout at lunchtime. When I got home, I took one bite, and my curry literally tasted like vinegar. I threw my whole meal away. Super disappointing! read more

Just not what I am used to with Thai food. I ordered my curry extra spicy and it was just average spice. Im told the owners are very nice people, but I would not return. read more

First Thai restaurant I have ever tried. I have tried many since, none of them compare to this. Their chicken dumplings are homemade, with a "special recipe"...whatever that means, but they are AWESOME! Crab rangoons are very small, have the carrot type texture to them. Their pad thai is heaven sent. Honestly, I wish there were more places like them around. Great service. If you go in to order food, it honestly takes 5 to 8 minutes, they are focused on getting you served. SOOOO GOOD. read more

Super delicious Thai food. Crab rangoons were tasty. Pad Thai was very good. Thai green curry awesome. Big portions. Friendly service. What's not to love? Definitely somewhere to take out vs. eat in (there's no liquor license and you get the food in takeout containers regardless). This is our take out restaurant of choice in Windham/Raymond/Naples area. Excellent! read more

Average fair, the food was okay. The thai tea was good. Soup could have been more pungent. Was disappointed in the Drunken Noodles because I specifically asked if it was the wide spungy noodles. It was not, the noodles were simply the wider long kind. Not the squarish spungy noodles I love. The flavor was okay. But for Drunken Noodle fans, you know it's ALL ABOUT THE NOODLES. I wish they had been honest, I'd have tried the green curry and likely would have left a far better review. My meal was served in a to go container. Which I didn't mind. Granted none made it to go. While I was mildy disappointed, one must remember that Thai Place is a bit in the boonies. So that's a really nice option. *** NOTE: I tried three Thai restaurants while in Portland. Thai Place, Sabieng, and Pom's Thai. Pom's Thai is by far my choice if I were to revisit the Portland area. It was also the only one to have papaya salad. read more

Best Thai food in western Maine north of Portland. If you headed up 302 and are looking for a place to stop in Windham for Asian food this is it. Wonderful, fresh made food in the thai style. Always fast and served in togo boxes ready for the road. It's not a classy sit down place but it's very clean and friendly. I stop by on my way to bridgton. Pad thai 2 star with a side of peanut sauce is my recommendation . Red curry is very good too! *5 star by windham standards read more

This is by far my favorite Thai Restaurant in the U.S. let alone Maine. I have traveled and eaten Thai all over the States and I was beyond thrilled to find this place in the relatively humble town of Windham, Maine. The food is always fresh and the service is always excellent. Manny the owner always greets you and gets your food out to you in record time. It's not the fanciest of places, but it is always spotless and clean. If you aren't a local you might just drive by and not even notice it, but take my advice and try this local secret. Get some Thai tea it is a little different at first, but keep drinking it and you will realize how refreshing and delicious it is. Also order some steamed shrimp dumplings. I often get them with Pad Thai and although the dumpling are delicious the dipping sauce is amazing! I always pour the left over dipping sauce on the Pad Thai and it really is delicious, I wish I could buy a gallon of it and put it on everything. read more

This was my first take out experience with Thai Place. The portion size and overall food quality was solid. I ordered the Larb Gai....a traditional Thai ground chicken salad that is flavored with a lime and chili dressing. The dish was flavorful and had a nice heat from the chili offset by the cooling taste of cucumbers and the lime dressing. It was a solid dish. Other had standard noodle dishes like pad thai and drunkin noodles. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Prices seemed in line with portions and value. Solid......3 1/2 stars read more

I think I need an intervention. I'm addicted to Thai Place. I feel like I NEED to eat here every day! So much yumminess!! If you want a happy tummy, this is the place to eat :) read more

Hands down BEST Thai around. I have known Manny for years now and he never disappoints. The service is always fantastic and they are always happy to see you come in! I won't go anywhere else for Thai food!! read more

If you're expecting something super authentic or at the quality level of a city based Thai place, you'll probably want to skip over this, but for relatively rural Maine this place is pretty good. I've been a few times while home visiting family. The service is always very friendly and quick without being fast food-y, which I like. The dishes seem to be made to order for the most part. I love their veggie spring rolls and my husband is a big fan of the pineapple fried rice read more

After numerous visits and comparing it to Thai restaurants in western Massachusetts, I have to say Thai Place has the best Thai food I've tried. Their pad Thai is excellent, and their staff is always friendly. read more

This has to be the worst Thai food I've ever had. Aside from the annoyance of eating with plastic forks on Styrofoam (A pet peeve of mine), the food was almost inedible. I ordered the pad Thai as a standard dish to compare... it was disgusting. Goopy beyond belief, gray, and unappetizing. I couldn't eat it. Bummer considering Thai food can be ridiculously flavorful and I was looking for a good local Thai place. Ugh... read more

Really great food! If only they delivered... Be careful when they ask you how spicy you want the food on a scale of 1-5, I love spicy food and responded 5. I was crying later. One of our other orders was a 1 which didnt have any pepper. Next time I'll try a 3 :) (the soups are my fav) read more

Really disappointing, the pad thai was inedible, I ended up not eating any dinner because none of it was remotely edible.

Really good food! Really good price! I tried it one day because I wanted a change from Chinese food, and I was very happy with this place. The staff are polite, and quick! I got takeout on my way home from work. The woman behind the counter was wonderful!! read more

our family dines here, multiple times, every year during our annual two weeks vacation in Naples Maine. their's is some of the best Thai we've had anywhere! The owner greets us every year as if he's missed us, recalling to us conversations we've shared with him in the past years. He is friendly and very attentive to our needs and the service & prices are excellent. A 'must' on your list of dining options....eat in or take out. read more

Best Thai restaurant in Maine! Great food and a friendly owner make for an excellent dining experience.

My wife and I ordered takeout last night from Thai Place. We regularly eat Thai food in Portland and have always enjoyed the great tastes of Thai food. A staple for me is massaman curry with tofu on the spicy side. The massaman I got last night was watery sweetish and bland with no potato and few vegetables. This was the worst I've ever had and could not even eat it. My wife asked for a dish with lots of vegetables and chicken and it was terrible. It had few and over cooked vegetables, the noodles were rubbery as was the chicken. She also could not eat it. Our dog did eat the chicken and tofu without any complaints. So if you are looking for a great place to get you dog takeout this is it. read more

Aaahhh it was ok....definitely not the best I've ever had. Crab rangoons were not that good, small and mushy like...plus taste was kind of off , too sweet maybe. Pad thai was just kind of alright. The fresh spring rolls were very good. Yellow curry was good. read more

Good food made by nice people at a reasonable price. I recommend take out. The restaurant itself could use a bit of updating.

I REALLY wanted to like this place. I love Thai food, but this place was seriously lacking in flavor. Did I mention that this place is geared towards take out only? If you happen to eat in it is all packaged in take-away form. So disappointing. I will not be back. read more

The food was okay, but serving people on Styrofoam plates and cups IN-HOUSE? Really? In truth, the lack of proper dishes on my table was a serious turn-off, but the Red Curry was tasty (However NOT tasty enough to consider coming back) read more

This is rumoured to be -- and probably is -- the best Thai restaurant north of Boston. The owner Manny and his wife serve generous portions of all the typical Thai favourites - I must have had each by now at least twice - as well as some dishes that I can't find even in Boston. If you're hung up on ambiance and décor, go to the big cities (and pay through the nose). But if you're anywhere near Windham and want the best pad thai, curry, seafood salad, dumplings, spring rolls, satay and just about any other Thai-inflected dish you can think of, this is hands-down the place to go. Factoring in the price, service, and portion sizes, this is five-star in every category. read more

Excellent and authentic Thai food that is perfect for take-out.
