This place? Amazing!! I loved the food and not to exaggerate but I think this is the best I've ever been to for Thai food. That's saying something because I've been many places. Especially for Thai food, Mexican food, etc. this place was THE BEST. The service here was alright, like any other restaurant if you're asking for service they walk right past your table a few times. No big deal though, they eventually come and ask how the food was. The atmosphere here was overall really decorated. They had many decorations and the menu, kind of off topic, but it was super! The pictures on there look SO delicious!! read more

Got take out from here and enjoyed it. I got the beef lo mein and the flavor was good. The portion was decent for the price. I would come back to try some more things! read more

Manee Thai Restaurant - Beef Lo mein - Thai Near Me - Gray, Maine

Until about August of 2026, I loved this place and often got large takeout orders to get through busy work weeks. Every so often, they close for a week or two and during one of those, the place appears to have changed hands. The middle-aged Thai woman who used to run the place is gone, and now there is a younger woman who alternates between saccharine and rude. I put up with that for 3 orders, but now there is a noticeable change in the food, and my favorites (General Thai chicken and fresh spring rolls) aren't worth it. Guess I'll be driving a little farther for my takeout. read more

Pros: Friendly staff. Cons: Food was disappointing - soup was among the worse, curry was bland, and the teriyaki chicken didn't taste like teriyaki. read more

horrific. I just got fried dumplings and they are so fried they are black. The last time in my meal I had a 16 inch piece of in it. If these guys don't get shut down soon, be surprised. read more

So fortunate to have this restaurant in Gray! Great value for the $, pleasant service, and a nice assortment of Thai classics. The flavors are spot on and the serving sizes are generous. Even got a complimentary Thai iced tea with one of my takeout orders. If you live in GNG or nearby, I highly recommend you support this local business. read more

Manee Thai Restaurant - Shrimp spring rolls - Thai Near Me - Gray, Maine

We got takeout from Manee while we were on vacation, and it was great. We ordered online through the restaurant website and food was ready in the expected time window and was nice and hot. We got the pork dumplings, veggie fresh rolls, yellow curry, and the lemongrass duck. It was all delicious, on par with what we're used to in Massachusetts. Particularly recommend the lemongrass duck and the pork dumplings. Both were flavorful and delicious. read more

Great food and service The Pho were excellent, and the trimmings tasty. Clean restrooms show good management. read more

A friend of the family said we should try this Thai restaurant so we did. It was just okay. The pad Thai was not my taste and the chicken fried rice was just okay. Its portion is small and prices are higher than our favorite Thai spot on Noyes St. in Portland. When I want to try a Thai restaurant, I order the basic like pad Thai and if it doesn't wow me then on to the next place. read more

First time, went for dinner. Very quiet, clean. Great menu, excellent choices and very reasonably priced. Server was ever so quiet but very accurate and attentive. Everything we ordered was very good and well very prepared. ( I love Thai, have had it in many places, this ranks amongst the highest recommended) Note- huge portions! Highly recommend. read more

The paad prik king is amazing and I have never been able to find it on other Thai restaurant menus. Highly recommend Manee Thai, but do yourself a favor and check that you have everything you ordered before you drive home. Also, when they say the food will take upwards of 30 minutes, they aren't lying. I usually end up having to wait but it's worth it. read more

We just tried Manee Thai for the first time since moving to the area 3.5 years ago and holy cow what a mistake it was not trying it sooner! This place has AMAZING Thai food! Fantastic Thai restaurant! We are moving to this area and thought we'd try this restaurant. So glad we did. The inside sitting area is just OK. There's no bar, no alcoholic drinks. But the food is amazing. While there, we could see they do a ton of takeout. The restaurant is family owned and the son provided us with exceptional service. read more

This restaurant offers very good quality typical American-Thai fare. The pad thai was really flavorful and among my favorite I've had in the area. I've also tried their green curry which was delicious with just a bit of heat to make it interesting. On the downside their fried dumplings tasted to me like the frozen dumplings you get at Chinese supermarkets that were then deep-fried, not bad per say but not what I was looking for. Overall I'd definitely come back if I'm in the mood for Thai but it's not somewhere I'd make a special trip to. read more

I'm not easy to please so when I say exceptional Thai, I mean outstanding Thai. First visit, and my only regret is that it took me so long to find this gem. Gray Maine, who knew. All the aspects of truly good Thai; fresh and complex. Fresh rolls beautifully done! Pad See Ew was the best I've had in the US, truly. Shrimp Wraps addictive. Our Server (Paul) was a joy-I watched him with other customers as well, and he was super attentive and very accommodating. This is a must in the area! read more

Stopped in here for lunch after wandering the trails of the Gray Wildlife Park and we are so glad we did. We settled on a number of appetizers and were not disappointed by anything. The service was quick and pleasant and the food was delicious. The icing on the cake was that when we left the lovely woman in the restaurant chased us down at the nearby stoplight to return my husband's forgotten hat. Now that is going above and beyond. We will return. Fantastic. read more

Food is good, but call in orders are sometimes difficult. Eat in service is not great.

We ventured out 30 minutes outside of the Point Sebago resort and we were so glad we did! I legit felt I was eating in Thailand. The taste was super authentic and server was a gem! We had pad Thai, pad kee mao, sweet and sour shrimp with pineapple and pad see ew - every dish was better than the next! Highly recommend! read more

This place has amazing Thai food and the waiter was really patient and polite while I was deciding my order. I would highly recommend the Pad Thai because it was cooked well and it was really filling. read more

We made a pit stop for lunch and Siri found us this Thai spot lol. There wasn't any customers there when we got there or the entire time we stayed. We missed the lunch special by 7 mins. Anyways we ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup, spicy pad Thai, and Ground pork in spicy basil sauce with rice. The pad Thai was very good it wasn't dry like it should be but I'm not complaining. I like it with extra sauce. The ground pork dish was good too. The spicy level were all low because he said white people around here can't take it which made me lol. The owner/waiter was friendly chatted with us the entire time. read more

Good stuff. Gray doesn't have a ton of food options, it's nice to have Thai food close by. Need more staff as it's usually slow going for takeout on the weekends. I Would recommend trying it. read more

This place is great. Relaxed dine-in and awesome take-out. The staff is always really friendly and we're yet to order an item off the menu that hasn't been enjoyed although we're very partial to the pad thai (soooooo good). We are so happy to have this place in our neighborhood. P.S. plum wine...do it! read more

Immaculate, friendly and great quality! This Thai restaurant is not fancy, but the interior is well-cared for and very, very clean. Our son-in-law does take out from Manee Thai at least once a week and has raved about how excellent it is. It did not disappoint! I had the green curry dish with brown rice. The curry soup/sauce was perfection - nicely balanced curry and chock full of white breast chicken & veggies! The brown rice was a revelation; it was whole grain goodness. My husband had the General Tsao's chicken; he love it. We will be back again and again. Cheers! read more

My family has gone twice for take out. BOTH times our orders were not 100% correct due to missing/ different items. The food was good. If you are willing to gamble give it a try. read more

Flavors were alright but I was greatly disappointed. The pad Thai seemed dry. The red curry did not have the characteristic red colored sauce so the only reason we knew what it was supposed to be was the permanent marker 'label' on the lid. The crispy duck green curry was neither crispy nor what I would consider enough and I am not a big American. I counted five thin slices of duck... For a $17 'meal' that is not appropriate. Never going back. read more
