The inside is spacious and was fairly quiet, with soft classic music in the background. Upon being seated, I was immediately greeted by my friendly server and ordered a drink. The sushi looked great, but I decided to start with the chicken lettuce wraps. It was very messy to eat, but that's expected. It's just basic iceberg lettuce with sauced chicken and veggies, and it was very flavorful!! I also went with the basic chicken pad thai. It was decent, but not the best I've ever had as far as flavor, and it could have had more peanuts. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for the sushi based on the reviews! The service was also 10/10.

The sushi was good quality, but the rolls were on the small side. The miso soup was delicious, and a generous portion. The pork dumplings were crisp on the outside and the pork filling was flavorful. The fried ice cream was classic, and done just right, crisp fried dough on the outside, sweet vanilla ice cream in the inside. Delicious. Haven't had that in so long! The interior could use a little freshening up. For example, the plastic seat of my chair was ripped, the carpet has seen better days. The bathroom was clean. I would go back again.

But one time our son came with us and ordered the fried rice, and it was spectacular and very different for the drab kind you get in a Chinese restaurant. If I could afford it I would eat here every night!

My 3 chicken tacos were cute but very small-think appetizer. Without the salsa verde they would have been quite bland. The vegan sushi rolls had an aioli sauce on top (eggs are not vegan). We first discovered this sushi place in Vermont while we were on a ski trip and came to realize that Hannaford is all over the NorthEast!!! At first we were really skeptical about sushi and making rolls at a supermarkets. I had my part of stories to tell. So we bought one roll to try. I remember it was the chicken teriyaki roll. It blew us away how fresh it was. Rice was still soft and overall fresh. Than we found it in Maine and New Hampshire. My kids love sushi and rolls so this time we ot some raw rolls also and it blew us away again!!! We have came to a conclusion that Bento Sushi is legit. This is really fresh rolls as we went at 3pm and there was still someone over the counter making the rolls. My kids misses this the most on our road trip to New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. Definitely, a great place to glad sushi and Maki rolls to go. But try to go there early cause they do get sold out. You get more selections if u go earlier in the day.

Maybe the lights were a little harshly bright, but otherwise a fine place to dine. We didn't get too many things, as we stopped in more for a finisher for the evening than full meal (we'd come from a party with small foods). We ordered a shoyu ramen and a dragon roll. Interesting note on the dragon roll, it has a sweet potato interior. This led to a distinct flavor from other rolls I've had in the past, and a smooshier texture, but a good roll nonetheless. The ramen was mostly a delight. Sumptuous broth, the egg was not too hard nor soft, and almost all the ingredients were perfect. Which I usually avoid that word because it's too subjective, but it seems to fit here. Major exception is the chashu pork. It was overcooked to the extreme. No other word for it, these dried out circles of meat were thick and chewy, and soaking them in the broth couldn't save them. Sad. Otherwise, some of the best ramen I've had since leaving Japan. The only other note I'd have is I just wanted some tea, and had to order a weird tea concoction to get it. Sometimes you'd just like an oolong tea, nothing fancy. I recommend this restaurant, overall, and hope you enjoy it too.

They have a smooth flowing system for takeout and they are extremely quick in filling the orders and staying focused as the residents of southern Maine fill them with orders.
