Been anticipating this spot opening for awhile now since I first saw the news about it. Taking over the space formerly occupied by Pine Tree Bakery and before that CeCe's Diner. Located on 302 near the Windham and Westbrook town lines hence the naming. They opened for their first day yesterday but my wife and I made plans to wake up early to make it in early and showed up right at opening. We walked into the diner and greeted right away very enthusiastically by our server. We sat in a great private booth with a view of the Saturday snowstorm. Menu wise they have all the classic offerings you'd expect plus some unique dishes. Some dishes described as Greasy Spoon and other silver spoon so they had a good variety of offerings. They also have some bar offerings which will definitely return for a mimosa next time. Food wise I decided to have their Westbrook Omelette (Fried Chicken, Onions, American, Topped with Sausage Gravy) and my wife got the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs. Both dishes were delicious and especially liked the sausage gravy on the omelette. Service was really good and we had minimal wait time for our food to arrive. Keep in mind if you visit soon they may still be figuring some things out since they just opened yesterday. My wife and I are so glad to have a breakfast spot so close to home and look forward to returning! Delicious food with great service in a welcoming homey feeling diner.

This was my first time here on a very busy Sunday. The service was good, but you could tell that they were slammed. I ordered the sausage and gravy with biscuits. The gravy was silky with a bit of pepper and the biscuits were delicious. Overall it reminded me of Cece's but with a different staff. The bill was 26.19 for sausage and biscuits, coffee, and a side of bacon.

We were all impressed with the potatoes and bread/baked goods. The diner was a lot bigger inside than we expected. It was a very cozy homey feeling diner. We had great service too. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Original Benedict! Greens on the side, dressed beautifully.

You can taste that it's made from scratch, not scooped out of a can. The blueberry pancake is everything you want from a Maine diner--loaded with berries, golden on the edges, and fluffy in the middle. It's one of those pancakes you tell yourself you'll share, then somehow you don't. The fiddlehead omelet is such a fun local twist, with the fiddleheads adding a tender, slightly earthy bite that makes the whole thing feel special and seasonal. Service is friendly and efficient, even when they're slammed, and the whole place has that busy, waterfront, "locals and tourists together" vibe. Expect a wait, especially at prime breakfast hours, but the homemade corned beef hash, blueberry pancake, and fiddlehead omelet make it more than worth it.

Very Friendly to me, but a couple of local guys came in and got the red carpet. Still gave me plenty of attention, (not busy at the time), but the two Portland residents must go there everyday. My kids enjoy the things they get pretty much everywhere - pancakes, eggs, grilled cheese, chicken fingers, fries. Service is friendly and fairly quick. There are a couple things on the menu that I've been especially impressed with and they feel sort of hidden since pancakes are given such primacy on the menu and signage. The fried filet of sole is delicious. The fish is fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. Even my son loves it! The fried chicken is incredible - perhaps the best in the area. Perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The coating is flavorful and crunchy without eclipsing the meat. I have had it a couple times as the chicken and waffle combo and it does not disappoint. However, today it was served with honey drizzled all over and I did not like that. It made it too sweet and too messy. Syrup would have been better, and I'd rather have dressed it myself. So I'd order it without the honey. I feel like it wasn't served to me like that previously. Weird. There are some good omelets on the menu but they're three egg omelets. My tummy just isn't big enough for three eggs, I'm afraid. So I tend to avoid getting the omelets.

Nothing bad about it. The food is fine. It is standard diner fare. But my meat breakfast burrito itself was roughly $21. They charge $2 to put the scramble in a flour tortilla. The mimosa I had was of poor quality and was $11. My husband just did the breakfast tacos and a coffee. Our bill was over $60. Nothing was bad, but it's just far too expensive for the quality of the food. We can and have had the same meal of the same quality for $40 down the road at Stacks. It's a shame that some of the long term staples of the Portland area are pricing out the locals but until prices come down, can't really recommend it here

There was plenty of parking for us in the private lot to the right of the building. We were greeted and seated within seconds of walking through the door. There's a lot of sun exposure, for the window seats, choose wisely. LOL Our server Logan was great. He was friendly and personable. We asked him about the "weird" item on the menu and he agreed, he didn't understand it and has only seen one person order it. If you are curious about what I'm referring to, you will have to see for yourself. Unfortunately, no one in the restaurant had it, as I was curious to see what it looked like and why they ordered it. My friend ordered the classic eggs benedict that comes with homefries. I order THE Pancake with blueberries and a side of DELICIOUS bacon. Everything looked great and was presented nicely. My friend said her dish lacked some flavor, however, it was helped by the salt and pepper on the table. My pancake was gigantic - literally bigger than the plate it was served on. It was a heavy pancake - and it was thick. It was ok - definitely recommend the real maple syrup, even though it's an extra cost. I ate half of the pancake. I prefer fluffy buttermilk pancakes, this was more "bready". It was ok enough, where I wanted to bring the leftovers home. It's convenient, it's local, service is excellent! I would certainly return if I have time and am in the area in the future.
