I was starving after mountain biking but ate everything on my plate and was pleasantly stuffed. the bloody Mary's were incredible also. the service was top notch, KK our server was so outgoing, friendly, and fun to talk to I'd go back just to see her. April 19, 2026 Private Parking Lot - Always a plus for me! Accepts credit cards - Which is great, as there are many diners in smaller towns that are cash only. I don't mind cash only, however, I rarely carry cash and it's a separate trip to the ATM before I can visit cash only establishments. There seems to be two sides of the restaurant- Backhalf with tables and the side toward the road have booths? I assume so, given the conversations I heard with the staff and a group that was holding out for a both. You can't see one side from the other. A+ for me in that they have Heinz Ketchup. The only ketchup for me. Salad - It's not typical for me, however, I'm glad I had it. It countered the savory breakfast and had a nice balsamic-like dressing. My Friend ordered the Biscuits Gravy Eggs Taters - She let me try some of the gravy and it was gooood. Very decadent! My Cheese Omelet, Scallion Biscuit, Salad, Bacon, Taters - Alll sooo good. The egg in the omelet didn't have any seasoning, so a little salt and pepper was needed, in my opinion. It was the perfect cook though. It was fluffy, evenly cooked and the cheese inside was evenly distributed. Cocktails with alcohol - they are offered if you would like. I opted for just water with lemon. Lunch options included things like burgers and wraps and salads and steaks. Great service! So friendly and welcoming!!! It's a small space, especially in the colder months with jackets and such. This one is going to stick . Been here under various other restaurant owners and was alway good but not special . Service was excellent breakfast sandwich on a GF English muffin (that actually tasted good ) Large portions we got a breakfast sandwich with bacon and on with blueberry sausage that was delicious. Bacon was crispy . Great job on the coffee refills. Got here early on the weekend was a bit quiet but by 9:30 the palace was packed . Wishing the good luck definitely will go back . 3/13/26 Small 'cutesy' diner- on 302 at the line between Windham and Westbrook. Plenty of parking. Inside is small, almost cramped. Two waitresses: one accommodating and pleasant, the second, over the top. Service was quick, efficient. The food: the "spicey steak Benny" with jalapeño peppers and chipotle corn bread was too spicey, even for me . The steak tips were few, bland, tasteless. The "smashed potatoes " were surprisingly good. The Bloody Mary very spicey. Comparables: Kelley's, Chutes, Bob's - all are better- This is okay, but at 20 minutes from our home in Windham, not worthy of the trip. PS: don't use the ketchup read more

Been anticipating this spot opening for awhile now since I first saw the news about it. Taking over the space formerly occupied by Pine Tree Bakery and before that CeCe's Diner. Located on 302 near the Windham and Westbrook town lines hence the naming. They opened for their first day yesterday but my wife and I made plans to wake up early to make it in early and showed up right at opening. We walked into the diner and greeted right away very enthusiastically by our server. We sat in a great private booth with a view of the Saturday snowstorm. Menu wise they have all the classic offerings you'd expect plus some unique dishes. Some dishes described as Greasy Spoon and other silver spoon so they had a good variety of offerings. They also have some bar offerings which will definitely return for a mimosa next time. Food wise I decided to have their Westbrook Omelette (Fried Chicken, Onions, American, Topped with Sausage Gravy) and my wife got the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs. Both dishes were delicious and especially liked the sausage gravy on the omelette. Service was really good and we had minimal wait time for our food to arrive. Keep in mind if you visit soon they may still be figuring some things out since they just opened yesterday. This was my first time here on a very busy Sunday. The service was good, but you could tell that they were slammed. I ordered the sausage and gravy with biscuits. The gravy was silky with a bit of pepper and the biscuits were delicious. Overall it reminded me of Cece's but with a different staff. Went for. Breakfast this morning (2/7/2026 - second day open. Honestly, I was underwhelmed. I had the steak and eggs (over medium) with taters. Nothing was seasoned. The steak was bland, the taters were crispy, but again lacked seasoning. I know I can apply my own salt and pepper, but I expected a bit more given the pedigree. My partner had the biscuits and gravy which she said were too spicy for her pallette. The dining room is over-crowded. We sat in the back half next to a heater so we were either hot or cold when the door was opened. May go back to give lunch a try but we honestly expected more, even with it being day 2. read more

It is a marvelous new place! Our warm and tasty breakfasts took a little while to arrive, but when they did, they were amazing! WOW. You are setting the bar high for a good meal around here. We had brunch here recently and were amazed at the food served. Our dishes were at the level you would expect from a pricey Portland brunch restaurant, but at a very affordable price. I had a creative take on a Benedict: scallion biscuit, a seared haddock cake, perfectly cooked runny egg, hollandaise. Wonderful. Went opening weekend and am already looking forward to going back! My friend got an omelette (The Gray) and I got a benedict (Luck of the Irish). We split an order of Gooey's Cinnamon Bun Pancakes. Everything was DELICIOUS! Chipotle cornbread, scallion biscuit and the taters (deep fried whole smashed potatoes as opposed to soggy shredded hashbrowns or sad skillet potatoes ) were highlights. Service was good. We had to wait quite awhile for our food. Food was less than par. Steak in omelette tasted funny and you couldn't chew it.
