Alphonso Mango Tart, Toasted Coconut, Plain Tart- with fruity pebbles, lychee, toasted almonds, pineapple
Zinnia V.

I found out they have new ownership, which totally makes sense why the past two times I've been here they've been a little behind. Last time it was poorly cleaned. This time some toppings were missing like Mochi, gram cracker dust, coconut shreds. They used to have everything. Hoping their team gets the hang of things soon. Today something possessed me to try plain tart, toasted coconut and Alphonso mango. Quite honestly the best combination I've had in a minute. I got mango and coconut bc it reminded me of Thai mango sticky rice and I was pretty on point with that. The plain tart was so yummy!! BTW you can always ask for sample cups to try the new flavors.

I love this place. Always good parking and the staff is so nice. I tried all their new flavors but I always stick to my favorite, plain tart

Sandy P.

Can't go wrong with their plain tart and berry topping. Seating is available inside and there is a parking lot shared with other businesses.

Yogurt flavors are good and I always come here when I'm craving for yogurt. Staff are attentive and filling the empty items when it's needed. Even though it is a small place, there are tables to sit down and enjoy the yogurt. They also sell to-go flavors in boxes if costumers want to keep them at their house. My favorite flavor is the original and the taste never changed.

Brought my parents here for their first time frozen yogurt experience. They love it! Except my parents didn't know it's cost by the weight, and they were too happy squeezing all the add-ons in one cup

I come to this location because the Monrovia location does not have the same flavors as here. I think this will be the last time I come apparently since they are under new management they don't accept online coupons the quarterly coupon to be exact never have I had this experience. I've always been able to come in with the coupon on my phone even as of last week 10/10. I don't see why they couldn't honor it if no where in the policy it states that The online coupon is not allowed. I left both yogurts and it's crazy to think the employee preferred to throw away 2 yogurts and not just honor the coupon. I guess that's just what poor business management does now. Everything was also low all the yogurts were low or coming out super watery.

So I went today for the giant spoon. Yogurt tasted bad, store was a mess, employees were slow, and the new store owners were there and they were not wearing deodorant omg. How nasty, but I did get my spoon!

Alyssa C.

I'd honestly give this store no stars if I could. Used to be my absolute go to store, but something changed this summer. I suspected new ownership & today got my confirmation of that fact. Multiple times I've gone and been disappointed, but still came back because the staff was always friendly. The last couple of times I've gone, they have had machines down so flavors have been unavailable, sample cups have been unavailable to try the flavors they do have, toppings have been unavailable as well, and there has been a lack of premade cups on display. Today I got confirmation of new ownership as I went and the store was not open with this sign on the store door. This is incredibly disappointing that whoever was working had to pick up the slack of night shift and in turn, the store lost customers. This was my last straw and I will not be returning to this location after my many years of being a patron here. I understand taking ownership of a business isn't the easiest, but seems like this place is circling the drain and fast.

In honor of Giant Spoon Day: Must say, this location has the best tasting plain tart. The bathroom is really clean and the service is awesome. Cool off with Yogurtland for the summer! Really glad I stopped by when the sun was shining

I'm torn between a 3 star and a 4 star but I'll give it a 3. The service is what you would expect from the younger crowd probably in their early college years or late high school years. They don't always like to give out sample cups . My party of 3 was given 4 sample cups. What an odd number for 3 people . I could have asked for more but you know the feeling when you ask for something and you can just tell the person doesn't want to do it , so you just don't ask anymore ? That's the feeling I usually get when I ask for sample cups . I wonder if it's because people ask for sample cups and don't buy? But my party and I when ever we visit we always buy. The flavors are plentiful but my favorite is always my go to original . I usually like to put some fruits on top like strawberries and mango but at time I'll just have the froyo by itself. The place can get pretty busy and a number of times I see the yogurt is all out . Especially the original . The place atleast is pretty clean and parking is plentiful

Liliana C.

I absolutely loved my visit at this Yogurtland! Everything from the fro-yo machines to the topping station was super clean. I love that they bring new flavors every so often. I tried their Orange Blossom White Peach Light Ice Cream, it was super delicious, with a subtle hint of citrus! I've never been a too big of a sweet tooth person but I'm always able to finish my cup of frozen yogurt! I like to balance it out by adding toppings that are not too sweet like fruits, almonds, and dark chocolate bits! I like that it's a self serve because you can personalize it to your preferences! Can't wait to go back and try more flavors!

I promise there is yogurt somewhere under all the toppings!

This place lives up to the hype of new trendy LA ice cream places. I love their motto of "Not too…read moresweet", a phrase that is a high compliment in the Asian-American dessert community. Their flavors are very unique, with yakult and misugaru being some of the stand-outs. They also have fun toppings like mochi and sago! I really liked the service because each staff member was very accommodating and let us try as many flavors as we wanted! They also gave us some stickers to take home :) Loved the late night vibes and all of the fun board games they had laying around for people to play!

A line formed right before they open with dedicated customers waiting patiently. Seating is very limited and many people take their ice cream to go. Families, young adults, teens, grandparents- people of all ages come here. Atmosphere is cool, decor is fun. I'm amazed about the flavors they've concocted. During this visit they had condensed milk, mango sago, yakult, black sesame and Vietnamese coffee. The Vietnamese coffee is spot on (I should know I'm a viet girl who gets her viet coffee from time to time). Mango sago was delicious and yakult's flavor was perfect, too! The condensed milk- I couldn't really pick it up flavor wise but I'm thankful for having it along side the viet coffee which balances out the bitterness beautifully. The consistency of the soft serve is impeccable. The topping choices are *chefs kiss*. So Asian, so beautiful. Service was great! They let you try out the flavors before purchase . Luckily they don't have a lot of options so it didn't take forever while waiting in line. I heard they rotate different flavors every week and a half or so. Get ready to come by when the weather gets warm!

The unfortunate part is that the ice cream really isn't that good, and the portions are small for what you pay.  What really turned me off, though, was the lack of common sense from the staff. If you've been here, you know they have a display case with slices of cake and pie. Normally you look through the case and point to the piece you want. That's exactly what I did. There were about ten pieces of cake in the case, and I picked one that had the perfect icing-to-cake ratio. The employee asked what I wanted, and when I pointed to the slice she told me, "You can only pick from these two," while holding up two other pieces. Apparently those were the older slices that they were trying to get rid of. They were clearly smaller and, judging by how they were being pushed, probably not the freshest either. Since I was basically being forced to buy something I didn't want, I said I didn't want anything. She just said "okay" and moved on to help the rest of my family. At that point I told my family we were leaving and heading to Bloomfield Creamery in Altadena instead. The employee had every opportunity to use a little common sense and simply give me the slice I asked for. I work hard for my money, and if I'm paying premium prices, I expect to choose what I'm buying. Instead, they lost Madre family of customers for good.

I tried the lychee and matcha soft serve flavors, and ended up getting the matcha flavor. Those flavors were good, the lychee and matcha were pungent. But the texture of the soft serve wasn't my favorite. The texture wasn't my favorite, it was more of an icy texture as oppose to a creamy silky texture which I would have preferred. I usually like the Oreo topping on my soft serve since it gives it a crunch, but it just didn't taste that good after a few bites. This soft serve was also a bit pricey, it was around $7 for the soft serve and topping, which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't that great. My friend also got their crunchy nut ice cream and didn't like it. I wish I liked this place more since they have Asian flavors but unfortunately it wasn't my favorite. Maybe if they improve the texture of their soft serve, I would reconsider.

We honestly wished it was closed when we tried it this evening. Water based soft served. This is a sorbet not soft serve with dairy. A Sorbet. It wasn't even soft served with creaminess. I don't know how to describe it honestly. The charcoal is citrusy flavored. We got it with a waffle cone that was already leaking in the bottom when the employee handed it to us. Hence why my significant other has napkins on the bottom of the cone. (See photo below) The charcoal is like it's almost as if they put the mixed fruity flavor in the machine but mixed with charcoal powder. The blue cookie. Where is the cookie? WHERE. IS. IT?! Again, another water based almost icy "soft served" that's not soft what so ever. I got it with the bubble waffle and Frosted Flakes as the topping. Did I mention that both the charcoal "soft served" with waffle cone and blue cookie "soft served" with a bubble waffle and Frosted Flakes topping was $21 (we tipped also to help support small businesses but sheesh) as much as I love dessert we didn't finish either of these so called treats because it just wasn't good or what others would say, "it wasn't the vibe." The server was nice she let us try different flavors but we tasted coconut in the choconut ice cream flavor and she said it was hazelnut. Boyfriend and I literally took out pieces of coconut from our taster to prove to each other that there was coconut. Again it wasn't creamy ice cream either. Lack luster ice cream. There's a better ice cream place down the road that's always a line on the weekends.

Second Visit & Still Such a Fun Dessert Spot!…read more This was our second visit here, and once again the service and ambience were very welcoming. It's a smaller dessert spot with about 3-4 tables available, but it gives off a cozy and chill vibe that we really enjoyed. This time we got the half-and-half milk and ube ice cream with taiyakis filled with: * taro * red bean * custard * cheesecake * nutella And honestly... I was really surprised that the cheesecake filling was actually delicious! Creamy, smooth, and definitely something I'd order again. The taiyaki itself was warm with that nice slight crisp on the outside, and paired perfectly with the ice cream. This is in the same tiny plaza as Golden Deli and Bopomofo, so parking can be tough at peak dinner time. The good: the taiyaki texture was nice and crunchy. The ice cream was smooth and not icy. The price is good for amount you get. The bad: the store was extremely cramped and hot. It's a very tiny shop so easily felt packed inside. I was annoyed when they called my order but I was struggling to get through the shop to get my order. By that time the employee had walked away. I was annoyed because when she came back she completely ignored me and handed someone else their order and walked away. I don't understand why they keep the completed orders way behind the counter if they don't even verify the correct person is picking up... after being skipped over twice I finally cut in and interrupted the other employee for my order and she was like oh... sorry it's melted. Like yeah it's been sitting there and I didn't want to go into the employee area to get it! That was really irritating. The ube flavor was bland. It tasted like milk, I did not get any ube flavor. The custard in the taiyaki was just okay. The worst part was that the taiyaki had a really off putting taste on the outside... almost like the aftertaste of margarine or something, it bothered me. Overall the flavor and service was lacking and the experience inside was not good. I was not impressed by any aspect and would not recommend this place unless you were already dining in this plaza and wanted to just walk over.
