My boyfriend and I had a buy one get one free coupon so obviously we had to use it! Historically speaking, I've only ever gotten the fruity flavors of yogurt whenever I went to Yogurtland. I usually get the mango and pineapple flavors and then add some fresh fruit on top. But this time, I wanted to get a little crazy since we had the coupon. They had a bunch of new flavors which is one of the great things about Yogurtland, so you never get bored. I ended up going with the new chocolate and vanilla ice cream swirl and a little bit of fresh strawberry yogurt. I then topped it with some brownie chunks, animal crackers, Reese's Pieces and fresh blueberries. Now, I'm not even exaggerating when I say this was the best thing ever......I loved every part of my concoction and I'm already eager to go back and recreate it. Came in at 9:30 PM on a Saturday with the family. Store is supposed to be open til 10:00 PM. There's a sign up saying no cash accepted (they had already counted the til and closed the drawer). I'm in line getting our yogurt and I watch the kid working there tell another family with small children that they couldn't sit at a table, and he began taking chairs from the father and stacking them. Then he tells us the restroom is closed for the evening since he's already cleaned it. I informed him per CA state law they have to provide a restroom for customers (my daughter needed it). He then makes us wait until he finishes cleaning the yogurt machine trays before unlocking the restroom. When I asked about the poor customer service, he lied and said that because he is a minor, he can't work past 10 and has to be finished right at the time of closing (CA State law allows minors to work as late as 11:30 on non-school nights). This boils down to this kid just wanting to get out of there the second they lock the door. I understand the kid wanting to get out of work ASAP on a Saturday night, but there's no excuse for treating customers that way or denying people use of the restroom. Tried calling the store today to let the owner or at least the manager know what's up and there's no answer and message says "voicemail box not set up". Heckuva way to run a business! read more

Whenever my friends have no idea what to do, we end up going to this Yogurtland. Situated in the plaza on Baldwin and Duarte, this prime real estate is built for great eats. Arcadia gets hot enough as it is during the summer, so Yogurtland is the perfect place to chill at on a typical afternoon after watching a movie, or having hit the bowling alley a block away. The only complaint I have about this particular Yogurtland is that they have way too few chairs. There's only like 2 or 3 tables and most people end up standing around inside. Granted it doesn't take too long to ingest some frozen yogurt, but still it would be nice to be able to sit down and enjoy it. I wasn't a big fan of Yogurtland until recently. I'm not sure why, but there is something super compelling about eating this delicious tasting cup of yogurt and knowing that it's a lot less fattening than ice cream. This Arcadia branch of Yogurtland is always very clean and super bright. It really invites you to come in and grab a cup to get some yogurt. Sometimes when there are special events, it can get packed, but the line moves fairly quickly. There are a few tables near the front for people to sit and eat, but a lot of people just consume the yogurt outside of the store. There are also rows of toppings - candy, fruits, etc. They clean pretty regularly so the countertops are always sparkling. The only two gripes I have are that the parking for this Yogurtland sucks unless you go after the market and the restaurants are closed and that by eleven or so, the yogurt mixes for the more popular flavors are low and they don't refill them. :/ I wish they had better parking, but oh well. I just usually go after ten. Also, I love the promotions that this Arcadia Yogurtland gives out (besides the whole Hello Kitty promo) like the free 3 oz and the free yogurt oz they give for high school students who get A's on their report cards (I make my sister take advantage of those). I love me some yogurt! This location is has over 16 flavors which is awesome since I noticed that other locations have less. The flavors vary from your traditionally vanilla and chocolate to mango, coffee, raspberry guava, etc. It's endless it seems! All the toppings are insane from the banana, strawberries, and even lychee (this place is more Asian oriented given the location which I love) to pebbles cereal, captain crunch, chocolate, gummy bears.... I could go on. My listing doesn't do it justice at all. Yes, pack your cup with your favorite yogurt flavors and then top with whatever your heart desires. The current new flavors at this Yogurtland are Honeycomb tart (meh), Guava Pineapple tart (yum!), & Devil's Food Cake Batter (meh). I normally stick to the Tart Yogurts. When you go into this location, you notice its clean and simple. You can ask the cashier for sample cups so you can try all the yogurt flavors. Then, head over to pick up your cup and fill it up with different flavored yogurts, fresh fruits, nuts, cereals, and chocolate candy bars!! Then you pay for it at the register. My cups usually come up to about $3 but it is filled with goodies! The prices are so worth it and you can customize what you like in it. The excitement of mixing my own flavor (blueberry, vanilla, pineapple...) was then overtaken by the topping counter which I had total control of too!? Holy healthy dessert Batman. I went for the high antioxidant count and threw on some pomegrante seeds and some blueberries. Then I looked over jealously at my friend's mochi! Pah! Everything is done by weight and I think some people could go crazy at the dispensers and end up with a $10 bill, but with some restraint you'll get yourself a healthy and creative dessert. When we first walked in, we were greeted and asked if we wanted samples, but I decline. I think it's weird when people get samples of froyo. I've seen people get samples (note plural) and then leave. Some of the flavors change every week which is always good. This Yogurtland also has some pretty nice employees. Coly is really kind and helpful!
