I keep meaning to write a review of this gem in the Rossmoor Shopping Center. Their frozen yogurt and gelato are some of the best I have tasted in the SF Bay Area. The chocolate frozen yogurt is that deep, dark flavor that makes me go, "oooooooh." The vanilla is rich with just the right amount of sweetness, and their seasonal flavors like chocolate mint chip, white chocolate, pistachio, and peanut butter are fabulous. They always have a large selection of flavors which include the NSA (no sugar added) choice. The gelato is positively decadent, and again, they have a wide variety of flavors. Every one we have tried has been delicious. Top that off with the nicest people, who treat you like a friend, encourage you to taste flavors (sometimes even with hot fudge topping!) this is an absolute find. This place is such a gem! Caring for a special needs child with severe allergies is hard, but it's even harder when you need a "safe" spot to go for a sweet treat regularly. The staff here have been more than wonderful over the years to my family member, always letting him take his time with ordering. We've never had any issues with allergic reactions, as they maintain high quality food safety precautions and protocols. The gelato is a fan favorite, along with the fun snow cone flavors. I particularly love the espresso and vanilla bean gelato mixed together in one cup! The interior is smaller, but there is room to sit if you want to eat inside. We stopped in here on a rainy day recently while waiting for takeout from the taqueria next door. We'd never been before and just wanted to check it out. I'm so glad we did! The Yogurt shop was clean, and, well-organized, and bright. We were warmly greeted by one of the owners who genuinely appreciated us visiting on a cold wet afternoon. The tart yogurt was fantastic with the perfect balance between tang and sweetness. We sampled their Tahitian vanilla and loved it! The watermelon lemonade was also very refreshing. Each yogurt comes with 2 toppings and the option to add more for .75c. Located across the parking lot from Safeway, you'll find plenty of parking. Yogurt Spot is awesome! We loved their non-dairy frozen ice which resembles Disneylands Dole Whip. It was refreshing and delicious. No tummy troubles for those of you that are lactose intolerant. Their Pineapple non-dairy frozen ice and their Pina Colada non-dairy frozen ice were delicious and made a great combo. We cannot wait to try their other flavors. This is the first time I have been here and as soon as you walk in you are warmly greeted by Heather. She is so nice and friendly. If you aren't sure if what you want, she offers you a taste rather than waiting for you to ask. There are so many options- gelato, shaved ice, froyo and so many toppings to choose from! What I like about this place is not only are the servings huge and they don't charge by weight, but the server serves you so people aren't digging into the different toppings themselves. It's sanitary! Great service, yummy customizable frozen dessert options, and good prices! Will definitely come back! Love this place ! The selection and customer service is awesome! Since open, I've been 3 times and I've enjoyed it Every time. My favorite thing I've gotten is the shave ice stuff it. I added watermelon sorbet- hella bomb! The pineapple and coconut sorbet is really good too! Parking lot use to be pretty easy to get in but since other poppin' businesses are opening I see the traffic, which sucks. I work in the area and I've always loved being able to come to this plaza with no rush and easy parking. Now I'm driving around a few times. Other than that I highly recommend this place. read more

I was greeted by the yogurt shop owner as she was helpful on which flavor to pick. I wanted to try something different so I got gelato ice cream. I prefer this than regular ice cream because the consistency is thick unlike regular ice cream it melts. Taste testing is available so don't mind to ask. I had gotten the dark cookies n cream. It was really good! Like cookies n cream, the vanilla makes it sweet but the combination of dark chocolate helps it taste both: not too sweet not too bitter. Note that gelato flavors will change, not everyday will be the same. Quite a combo, I'd come back to try other flavors! read more

So good! On the pricy side tbh, but the quality seemed better than other froyo spots. Even in pouring rain on a cold day it was delicious. I liked all the flavors I tried. They have interesting flavors like lemon tart (tasted like a lemon custard), tigers blood, Italian tart, etc. Staff said they rotate out their flavors. I found their options more interesting than other places which is a plus. They fill the cup for you and the toppings, it includes 2 toppings in the price. One of the best froyo I've ever had! Wasn't able to try their gelato but I'm super impressed with their froyo -- super creamy, flavorful, texture is like soft serve ice cream. I'm so grateful I work by here because Yogurt Spot makes such a good after-work sweet treat. The employee who assisted me was very friendly and efficient. They offer samples of the gelato, and I'm assuming the froyo too, but I already knew what flavors I wanted so I didn't get froyo samples. Other customers were sampling the gelato. Froyo is priced per cup size, not oz, and includes 2 free toppings! Additional toppings are $0.75 each. Upfront the pricing seems higher than other chain froyo places but ultimately ends up being reasonable since pricing includes toppings and the cups are filled up high. I got a small, which I shared with my boyfriend, with Strawberry and Cookies and Cream + strawberries and Reese's PB cups toppings. Total came out to be $7-8. The froyo was so good and not icy at all. Can't wait to come back and try their gelato! read more

We found this froyo spot after basketball at Tice. We were welcomed by the owner, Heather. It's a really welcoming place with a nice decor. They have everything from froyo to shave ice, to gelato. Heather readily offered samples. I ordered a froyo root beer float, family I got two orders of froyo; fyi- not self-serve. The handwritten old-fashioned menu boards were a nice touch. She recommended the vanilla and Sprechers float- it was nice and creamy. The fam's froyo was really smooth and tasty. This is a good spot for your sweet tooth! read more

This place is great, and has a wide variety of yogurt, gelato and shave ice. They even have dog ice cream! The staff have always been nice.

Great place near Tice Community Gym for delicious frozen yogurt, sorbet, gelato, and pretty good shave ice. The latter is always tough to fully replicate the snow-like shave ice outside of Hawaii, but Yogurt Spot offers a lot of different flavor options. The price point is a little higher than some places, but the ingredients are high quality as are the toppings, and the service is outstanding, so definitely was worth it. The atmosphere is also welcoming and pretty brightly lit as well. One of our sports teams went there after practice and we had a terrific experience as the owner was quite patient with our players in their ordering, and she offered free samples to try before finalizing our orders. We are really looking forward to heading back there soon! read more

It was my first time today but my husbands third. The service here is super friendly! They actually give samples too. Normally I prefer places to just specialize in 1 treat but somehow The Spot has managed to offer shaved iced, frozen yogurt and gelato and all of them are excellent! The toppings were also all really fresh and of really great quality. I was surprised how much I loved this place, I will definitely be back. I ordered the California Tart and it was very close to a Pinkberry style tart, sooo good! I got toasted almonds and strawberries on top.
