How are you going to have four people on drive through and one sad excuse of an employee on inside customers? I could have gone back there, went through an orientation and made my own yogurt before these employees completed one small cup. Are the motor skills of the employees on the drive through developed yet??? Can they only do one thing at a time?? I promise a group of orphans could have performed better with no training. Oh, they know me here. I would say that my ex will not be pleased to know that 1/16 of my child support goes to yogurt mill LOL! Ok, I'm kidding. Kind of. If you call my son and I many evenings between 4-6pm this drive thru is where we are at. Its so convenient and the rotation of flavors makes it exciting to go see what they have that day. They offer a repeat customer discount card so once you've purchased so many you get one free. And if you love your toppings everywhere in the yogurt just request layered toppings! The service was ok I felt rushed by the host she was kind of rude she told me no dogs allowed super loud and rude I was just holding my puppy while ordering ...we sat outside which I have no problem doing because I had my dog i understand . Went on a Saturday night at 8pm. Literally took an hour to go through the drive thru. 10 cars max. Employee said they only had 3 employees on a Saturday night. Where are the store managers? My last stop at yogurt mill was great. The workers there were very nice and attentive. Elijah was probably the best though. He helped us right away and rung us up quick. Probably the best frozen yogurt I have ever eaten. The toppings to yogurt ratio was pristine. 10/10 recommend. If Elijah is there, make sure to have him help you out! read more

I used to love this place. I don't do dairy and I loved that I could get a non dairy treat. I went all the darn time. Now they have this Big Pop flavor as the non dairy choice for months on end. This is the only location that literally never changes the flavor. One can only eat pineapple and cherry so many times. It's not like it's at least a basic vanilla or something that you could jazz up with toppings. It's the literal worst. Tried reaching out on social media several times with no response lol. I went here last night with my friend, 6/27/2020. While the employees/service was great, I noticed that their portion sizes seem smaller post Covid 19 shelter in place. I ordered a small yogurt, with 2 toppings, hot fudge and sprinkles. Normally Yogurt Mill is pretty generous with their portions and toppings. This time they put about half the topping portions that they normally put. Total came out to $6.69 for a small with two toppings. The portion size didn't seem worth the price this time. While I was in line ordering I heard the manager tell her staff to be careful with the portion size in their shakes. read more

This place does brisk business and the ice-cream/yogurt is quite good. There are always new flavors to try and they do a great job of keeping lines short. The lost stars are for maintenance. They do a terrible job of keeping their indoor and outdoor seating areas clean. Especially on busy evenings . Dropped in yet other night and practically every table on the outside patio was dirty, as were the seats . There wasn't an employee on site that wasn't behind the counter, so there was no one to ask to clean up . Customers try doing their own clean up jobs with napkins but then that leads to napkin litter on the floors . Management needs to do a better job addressing this . Do not recommend, if you wana pay what you didnt ask for come here. They served us wrong items and ignored request to fix, also had various issues with paying. Were charged incorrect size and add ons. When asked to fix only changed size but still charged additional fee. Gave up on trying to get employee to understand and just took financial loss. read more

I drove all the way back to see the same employee who needed a receipt then wanted the order back to replace it...wth Yogurt Mill? My daughter loves coming here, so that's the only reason I ever come. We're here at least once a week and I must say there is always a long line. I feel like the ordering menu screen is super bright haha...I want to lower the brightness down, like on my phone! The service is good, but definitely not my favorite place. It is a bit expensive, so the total for my daughter, my son and I was $15 bucks this last time (you can see what I ordered on the pics). I ordered a 16oz smoothie and my kids the heavenly vanilla in a cup and added toppings. Out of all the times I've been here I've only had an issue once and the employee didn't say sorry. I got home and my ice cream wasn't in the bag! Okay, you know that feeling...so I drove all the way back and got my ice cream, that's it. The place is cute and I think they have a patio as well, so that's pretty cool. The only time I did get off my son was running everywhere, so I didn't get to enjoy it. I've been to other Yogurt Mill's in Modesto and never have I had such an unpleasant experience. Walked in to the store and at no point were we even acknowledged; even after standing there for 15 minutes. A simple we'll be right with you would have been nice. There was at least four employees at one point assisting with the drive through orders and one employee with the in-store orders which let me add it was a full store despite the current Covid protocols in most business establishments. Meanwhile you had two employees just standing there chatting it up. Apart from the employee taking the in-store orders everyone else lacked any customer service skills I will for sure 100% never be back to this location. read more

Got a Pineapple Whip from Yogurt Mill today. It is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. The customer service was outstanding. The employees were so nice and helpful. I could not decide at first and they were so patient and friendly, I appreciate that so much. I have been there at night and the lines are around the corner but that is not the employee's fault. I get frustrated in the long line, but I still keep coming back. I was there the other night and some of the customers were kind of rude and impatient with the employees and it was horrible on the customer's part. I remember when Yogurt Mill was closed on the inside because they did not have enough staff, I don't want to go back to that because the line's get even longer in the drive thru. We have a great store here in Turlock and some pretty awesome employees, Let's try and keep it that way. Yogurt Mill gets extremely busy often and I am sure we have all seen it. Long lines in the drive thru, Crowded on the inside with tons of customers with tons of kids. I wish people would be more patient with the staff because they are doing the best they can. Yogurt Mill keep up the great work and keep the awesome flavors coming back. the cherry mixed with the pineapple to make an old school bomb pop is just as good as the pineapple whip. Lacking accuracy and customer service. I asked about a flavor and patrick described it to me pink in color kind of red and when I left I seen it was white. I ate the ice cream thinking maybe its super light pink but then just realized no I was given the wrong flavor so I return and explain he looks at the cup confused. Gives me back a cup that looks chocolatey and whitish. I realized he not only gave me back the correct order he scooped off the toppings from the incorrect order and put them back on the newly replaced one. What was the point of the exchange or return or even correcting the order I have you were still going to put the old and unwanted flavor back on. This is not the only tome I've received incorrect orders. This is just the only time I've went back to get my order corrected. There has to be something going on inside that someone would just completely waste the customers time and disregard their wants or likes. just a thought but what If there was some kind of allergy to a certain flavor and they just went ahead and put the wrong flavor back on with the new cup. Pretty dissapointed with the amount of toppings on my yogurt. I had asked for extra cookie dough and extra peanut butter cup. I had maybe 3 tiny chunks of peanut butter cup and just 3 cookie dough balls (although the cookie dough balls were larger) in a large yogurt. It was great when they finally ventured into Turlock. The drive through is conveniently next to some of my weekly errands! I am thrilled and have visited several times in the last couple of months. When I went the first time, I ordered Oreo Cookie as a topping and received Cookie Dough. They fixed it without issue. The next time I simply said Oreo and it was right. Every time I've gone the staff were professional and polite. Each location has varying flavors, so you have to read the menu at each one or look on Facebook for the day's flavors. If you get anything smaller than a Medium, the toppings will not be layered into your froyo, just the one layer on top. The sizes are very generous--I get a small and it's more than enough! Get a waffle cone with almonds in the bottom. It does not disappoint! read more

Good. But not great. It's so busy that the employees are curt and difficult to understand through the drive thru. Not rude by any means, just confusing. I was also really disappointed by the kids size. I felt SO bad when I got home and pulled my sons out to see it was about 3-4oz. It was a little bigger than what you'd expect a side of ranch dressing to come in. I felt awful and gave him mine. I can't imagine how tiny the mini must be. When coming here we were expecting the normal yogurt spot where you make your own but they do it all for you. So you have to wait in line and tell them what you want. Kinda like subway. It was pretty pricey. I think for 2 medium bowls and a kids we paid over $30. My daughter got sprinkles and my husband and I got the confetti cookie dough on ours. The cookie dough was BOMB tho. The yogurt was good it was just pricey and there was no seating inside so we ended up sitting outside in the cold. read more

The yogurt is delicious, however I do noticed the staff needs more training in customer service. You don't get greeted when you walk to the counter, if you ask any questions they just look at it he menu behind them, like telling you to read it yourself. When we were driving we saw this long line at a drive thru and were wondering what restaurant it was for. We were surprised to see it was for a yogurt shop. So after we had dinner we decided to try it out for dessert. I got a mini and my husband got a small. It was over $10. I think that's a bit pricey for the sizes we got. My husband got magic shell on his. It was really gross. It was a very weird consistency. Not quite hard, not quite soft. But it was the taste that was worse. It had salt in it! Not just a salty taste but chunks of salt in the magic shell. He gave me a bite of his yogurt and I couldn't get the salt taste out of my mouth. Why would there be salt in it?! The area at the counter with all the toppings was filthy. There were toppings all over the place which caused them to get all mixed up with each other. We definitely will NOT be back. read more
