Stopped here for a quick lunch on my way up 99. I got a chicken tikka wrap in naan (you can choose tortilla instead). It was delicious! Very flavorful, spicy. I will come back to try their sweets and other dishes. Glad to have this as an addition to the options in Turlock. The butter chicken was okay. Not as flavorful as the larger Indian restaurant in town. I also paid for cheese naan but received plain.

The food was okay, but seemed disorganized. It took a long time for the food to come, so likely they weren't as well staffed. The owner was really nice and told us we could have gotten a drink with dinner, but the new waitress didn't know to tell us that it was complimentary. I think their heart is in the right place but need some help with the business side of things. We gave them some suggestions and hope they get more business. We think that for the portions you will definitely get your moneys worth, as it's affordable. The place was clean and I saw the wait staff consistently washing their hands. Check them out! read more

This was my first time dining here. Not sure if it was good enough to go back. There are other Indian restaurants in Turlock that I've had better experiences. The mango lassi was on the thinner side. (I've had some at places where it was thick like a milkshake.). It had decent flavor. Not too sweet. The garlic naan was the standout. Very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The butter chicken was just ok. It lacked flavor compared to others I've had. The saag paneer was bland bland bland! Even the cheese had no flavor. The green was vibrant and beautiful, but the flavor did not live up to the color. I wound NOT order this again. The rice was cooked perfectly. I tried some of my friend's momos. The dumplings were very good. The sauce they served with it was spicy but not too intense. It was served cold though and it was weird to me to dip hot dumplings in a cold sauce. She also got a dish that was very onion forward. It was probably the best dish we had as far as flavor. The service was practically non-existent. Waited quite a while between being given menus and water for them to take our order. It took about 20 minutes for our food and they brought everything at once (appetizers, sides, and main dishes). Last to arrive was my friend's chai tea which should have come with my beverage. And then after giving her the tea and asking if we needed anything at that moment- they never came back to our table. We had to go up to the counter to flag someone down and ask for to go boxes. Then, it finally became evident that you had to go up to the register to pay. We didn't know and sat there waiting for our check. It wasn't until we saw someone else from another table go up to pay that we went up ourselves. When I'm craving Indian food, I want depth of flavor and those amazing spices in the curries and sauces. This food just missed the mark. It want bad, but it left something to be desired. read more

Delicious food! The Tandoori Mushroom was outstanding -- flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Dal Makhani had just the right balance of spice and butter without being heavy on cream as usual -- 5 stars. The Tandoori Meat Platter (chicken, malai chicken, fish) was juicy and well-marinated, though I wish it included mutton and the chicken little more grilled. It was bit soft for my taste -- 4 stars for that. For small place like that, it is priced bit high. But good to have an indian restaurant in Turlock. read more

The food and service were really good! We got take out so we had to wait around 25 minutes for our food. I got the mushroom tikka and chicken momos and my sister got the pav bhaji. This restaurant might be one of the few that serve Indian style momos in this area (aka dumplings)! read more

Went here for the first time this weekend and can't wait to go back! The food was delicious, full of flavor and VERY reasonably priced! We ordered samosas to start: they were a good size, delicious and the dipping sauces were tasty! We got the butter chicken and rice, garlic naan, chicken tilka roll and 2 mango lassis. This is my new favorite Indian food spot in Turlock. I used to go to Punjab Express but the quality hasn't been there. I have tried all the spots here in Turlock and this one stands out for sure. I had the chicken tikka masala and my mom had the butter chicken. Everything was really flavorful. read more

The food was way better than a typical Indian restaurant food. Flavor was distinct. We ordered mixed grill, aloo tikki, briyani, bhatura Chana. We will definitely go back to try their curries and naan. I like that they stay open late when most of the food places are closed. read more

The food was terrific. I ordered the paneer tikka masala and it was great- a bit sweeter than what I'm used to but definitely not in a bad way. I also tried the chicken curry and various naans.
