This was a tricky review to craft because of how surprised we were of the response from the employee at the ordering area in the drive-thru. It was really disappointing because on their menus selections in the drive-thru they have less than 5 from what I viewed, sugar free or no sugar added yogurt selections and zero information listed for the paying consumer of the "net" carbs in each supposedly sugarless yogurt. I politely asked the female through the speaker what the carbs and or net carbs were for a serving of the chocolate batter yogurt. She did not know. When she returned several moments later she nervously stated information she obtained from another employee. Yet she did not clarify if that number represented a serving nor what the serving size was. She guessed at 1/3 of a cup then was unable to explain what size yogurt I would need to purchase to try the yogurt in question. If a business is exchanging product for money then every employee should be trained on these types of questions. Particularly for those needing a no sugar and or no sugar added foods. I wanted to treat my mother who is a senior citizen who doesn't eat sugar to this business as I've been driving by it for greater than 3 years so she and I were very unpleasantly shocked and disappointed with the lack of genuine service and nonchalant bothered disposition of those involved in this sale. Basically one of the only places for drive through dessert. With that; the line is almost always a wait. Plan for that. Especially in the evenings. They close at 10pm which is nice when you decide you DO want dessert 2 hours after dinner . I've been here quite often and there hasn't been a lot of consistency. Which is odd. Forgetting toppings has become common (toppings are expensive!), and sometimes the toppings are a lot more sparse than they used to be. Little touches like that make a big difference in the experience, I'll still stop by, but I've been getting ice cream at the grocery store more often now, because I know exactly what I'll be getting there. read more

10$ for a classic shake is insane. The Manger Andrea is super rude, luckily the employe Lyndzie was super sweet and great at what she does.

Went into The Mill yesterday and had the best fast food experience I've had since 05! LOL! The store was immaculate, and the staff were running around cleaning spotless counters!! The Yogurt Mill Turlock always has friendly staff and very professional. Last time I was in, I was impressed by the staff and how they handled themselves, it was very busy and yet they greeted each person and they patiently were willing to explain the menu and get the orders completed in a timely manner. Then as I came up to the register it would not work, but everyone was calm, and even someone came from the back to help out and within a few minutes everything was running smoothly. It impressed me that every staff member helped each other. They continued to get the all the orders out as quickly as possible. They worked very well together. I waited over 40 min in the drive thru and once I got up to the order screen I had to introduce myself as a customer and they stated "what do you want?". FINALLY! After much anticipation Turlock finally has a Yogurt Mill of our very own! As a former Modesto resident, I was one of the many fans of Yogurt Mill on Roseburg. After moving to Turlock I unfortunately did not go to Modesto often enough to get my fro yo fix. Fast forward a couple of years and dreams really do come true! The new location is very convenient and centrally located. It is housed in the same building as Little Cesar's which is also a drive through. Talk about a one stop meal! We usually come here and have a good experience! Tonight just ruined it for us. The girl at the window got one of my drinks incorrectly. As she was handing my drinks out I noticed one did not look like the picture and I let her know it wasn't correct. Instead of honoring their mistake they asked for my card back and refunded me then charged the new amount. It was only $2 difference but still this wasn't my fault. Quite possibly the worst frozen yogurt place you will ever go in this area. Avoid avoid avoid! The yogurt is super nasty and taste like it has been frozen for years, literally no taste and you can almost taste the ice from being frozen so long. Recently, the price for a waffle cone with yogurt and one topping increased over one dollar to $7.10. No matter what you receive, this seems like an outrageous amount to pay for an ice cream cone. I'm obsessed. The quality of the yogurt is amazing. And I love how they pair 2 flavors together that really compliment each other. Other yogurt places have really water yogurt but yogurt mills froyo is creamy. And the flavors are delicious! My favorites are the salted caramel pretzel and oatmeal cookie. Amazing!!! There is a great variety of toppings as well. The last time I went Vanessa helped me out. She was very sweet, helpful, and patient as we waited for my kids to figure out what they wanted. I rarely go to yogurt mill and today is Sunday 3rd approx 2:00pm and the lady taking the orders was extremely rude and when I met her at front I gave her my card she didn't say thank you and there was another employee there a male and she had him give me my order because apparently she did not like the questions that I was asking. I haven't been so when I was asking about the flavors she said it's under flavors??? It's really sad that these employees as our young generation lacks customer service skills. Poor customer service! First time at yogurt mill. We walk in my son, my fiancé, and I and no one even said welcome or looked up to let us know they would be will us in a minute. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting so I walk to the register where I'm still ignored a family comes in they all say welcome and then immediately start take their order. They have inconsistent hours and close early EVEN though on Yelp & Google their store hours will show they're open. Great Experience! I entered the store to a greeting, the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. I was served by a very nice employee named Eliana. Unsure about what options I had, she asked me if I wanted something sweet or fruity and with this filter in mind, she listed a plethora of flavors to choose from. I ultimately ended up choosing Cookies & Cream (which is absolutely delicious 10/10 would recommend). We then moved onto toppings and for me personally, I don't like too many toppings on my desserts. So I got them on the side so I could add the amount I wanted. (I would recommend getting your toppings on the side as well, so you can get the perfect amount you want in your yogurt). All in all a great experience, the only reason I chose to give only 4 stars is that there were other employees who failed to welcome me in. Normally I wouldn't mind, but this is not the first time it has happened. I especially dislike this because I've made direct eye-contact with them and they still don't welcome me.
