Great local fro yo place. Nice variety of flavors but also many other menu options such as shakes, slushees, etc. Different days have different specials. There are a zillion froyo places in Naperville. Yogurt Beach is great! Fun little place with beachy(is that a word) décor. I think they had about 12 different flavors available if I recall. It's self serve and then pay by weight. Lots of great fresh toppings to choose from. I went with a combination of chocolate and banana frozen yogurt, added some fresh banana and had them blend it into a milkshake for me, it was delish! There is a paradise for frozen yogurt addicts like me, and its called Yogurt Beach. It offers 18, count em', 18 different froyo flavors. 43 toppings, 8 syrups and sauces, and 10 fresh fruit choices. My latest summer creation is a combo of the key lime pie and Paradise Pina Colada topped with mango and pineapple chunks, and mandarin oranges. A real summer refresher! Employees are on duty to let you sample the different choices. The place has ample seating and the tables are made from surfboards. A tropical beach wall mural that was hand-painted by the owner, Debbie Kleigel contributes to the ambience which is always festive in the 3 times we've been there. Not bad for a newly opened FroYo place. All these have been popping up out of nowhere this past year. Plenty of flavor selection for frozen yogurt & by far the most extensive with their toppings. Just moved to far North Plainfield last week, so we trying out all of the great places to eat in area. Let me start by first saying that the Peanbutter FroYo is awesome and the place appeared to be very clean. The only turn off was the woman (whom I assume was the owner?) was running around practicaly yelling at her poor teenage employees between clenched teeth. Her negative energy made us very uncomfortable. We ended up eating in the car just to get away. Next time we have a hankering for Frozen Yogurt we will be going to Cherry Berry just down the street. read more

Ok. I know this is supposed to be a yogurt place, and it is, but I hate frozen yogurt. So when I was dragged there I was not happy. This is not going o be a story about how their frozen yogurt is so awesome I changed my mind. Cause to me, it wasn't. But they had something there that I wasn't expecting - frozen custard. OMG. I am a frozen custard snob. Culvers frozen custard is not that great. Andy's frozen custard is a tinge better than Culvers. But this stuff. It was insanely good. They have both chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate is better, but they both rock. Whatever you do, don't go in there and get the custard and park next to it that frozen yogurt nonsense. Go all out with the custard. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE FOR FROYO! My boyfriend and I came here on accident when we went to the local popcorn shop next door. And OH MY GOD IT WAS THE BEST ACCIDENT EVER. The staff is quick to bring you some sample cups, and they give you tips on the best flavors too! They're friendly and super nice! It's gotten to the point where they know our faces! lol! The frozen yogurt and custard = DELICIOUS! Oh and the toppings? AMAZING! Try the strawberry froyo, they only have it on certain days, but when they do my boyfriend and I get the Kahuna cup, and we go crazy with it! And the strawberry mochi, oh man, it's the freshest, softest, fluffiest mochi ever. I've never had such delicious mochi! They have a wide variety of fruit, and when it's in season, it's freshly cut. My sister and I walked in and the place was empty not a worker or customer in sight. The lady working finally strolls our after we have decided which we wanted to try. My sister asked for the sample cups 1 for each of us and she only gave us the one at first and then she filled it for us like we were to incompetent to do it ourselves. And she was aggressively watching us and standing over us while we tried it. The place was dead so I'm not sure why she had an attitude for us giving her our business. Then she kept telling me to get a bigger cup and that I needed a side bag for my toppings. I decided just to get the strawberry's because she kept pestering my sister and I. And then while we're sitting and eating our froyo in the shop and begin discussing the news that was on the tv she walks up to the tv and switches the channel and stares at my sister while she does it. This old lady is mean and I will never go back to this froyo shop. Poor customer service. Not to mention she kept scrubbing everything we touched like we were dirty! Mixed feelings about this place. The yogurt is delicious, and the whole place is cute. The store is decorated as a kind of aloha theme, very nice and from what I've seen, very clean, with helpful counter staff. The reason I gave 3 stars is because of an experience I had there a few months ago. We were having a going away celebration for a friend moving back to California, and found a large booth in the back that could seat all 10 of us. We all got yogurt, talked quietly, (even though there were 2 other people there) and had some laughs. But, while waiting for the last few people to finish their yogurt, some woman (don't know if it was the manager or not), came over and rudely told us we were trespassing and needed to leave. She basically kicked us out into 50 degree weather and informed us we needed to call our parents. Although that experience was not pleasant, I will keep going back to this place for yogurt, but I hope I won't run into that crazy lady again. read more

I get a little too excited about anything that reminds of a buffet. Because you get to mix in and try whatever you want, i love the idea of self serve yogurt. This is my favorite self serve yogurt place in the area. Their yogurt tastes better and the selection of toppings is not only bigger, but also cleaner than other similar places. My favorite flavors are mint and the dark chocolate and peanut mixed to taste like a Reese's. Yum! read more

As very loyal Red Mango fans, my daughter and I were reluctant to venture outside of our comfort zone. I'm glad we did! Not only is the yogurt quality, the options and toppings are endless. I have become a bit jaded with Red Mango lately as I've noticed the processed, junky toppings prominently placed, whereas the blueberries (if not in season) are hidden behind the counter and only given upon request. If I'm paying $.50 an ounce I don't think it's too much to ask for some blueberries. Full disclosure at this place and I think they've converted us. read more

I will start with the positives-Great Yogurt, and good decor. Now lets get into the negatives. Employees and especially MGMT treat customers like criminals, watching your every move, and god help you if you have children. An employee is directed to stand directly behind you whenever you are getting yogurt, to watch you. Not only do they have annoying signs letting you know that you will be arrested if you shoplift frozen yogurt or toppings, but also that they do not approve of unattended children. My 4 year old got excited and ate a cherry before his yogurt was weighed and got yelled at by the Manager. Also there are different cups, "Orange Cups" that have to be requested, not sure why yet but probably because they weigh less! I feel bad for the teenage employees because they seem to be great but very intimidated by the mgr/owner read more

Although I like supporting local places over corporate chains such as Red Mango, I'll stick with Red Mango when it comes to froyo. They offer a variety of flavors of frozen yogurt (and they even have a small selection of frozen custard which is so creamy and out of this world)! They offer a variety of toppings as well including lots of fresh fruit and even my favorite, mango! This place is always well kept, the employees are pleasant, and I love the tropical decor (how darling are those surfboard tables?) On top of all that, their price is very competitive at .46/oz. This is my go to place for "ice cream"! My 4 year old has Type 1 Diabetes and we come here because the frozen yogurt is much better on his sugar level than ice cream is. He loves all the choices he has to pick from and the surf board tables. I love that right up front is the nutritional information in a frame so I know how many carbs are in each flavor. The yogurt and topping selection at the store is delicious. However, upon my last visit to the beach, I noticed the manager berating the only other employee at the store constantly. I would just like to make it abundantly clear that the management at this store seems to be awful. Instead of doing any work herself, the manager would walk out from the back and yell at her employee to do it instead. I'd like to add that this made for an extremely uncomfortable situation for me and every other customer in the store. I walked in this place with a family of 4. The young teen who was the only employee in sight standing with one tasting cup in her hand stated she had to fill the tasting cup for the desired flavor we wanted to try. If this is your policy then you need to hire at least 4 more "tasting employees" because my family and I was not going to wait for this one teen to go down the flavors for each one of us in order for this thrifty business to try to save a few ounces a day. From the looks of this place, this yogurt place need to reevaluate this ridiculous policy, because it was only a few customers in there on a hot Saturday afternoon.
