Been going to this place for years. The confetti cone is my current favorite, it has sprinkles and candied peanuts- Definitely ask for a spoon or extra cup with this because it melts so quick due to the heaviness of the nuts. But it's so worth it, I dream about this cone. The staff is young kids but they're always nice & they get your order out pretty quick. They have seating, even behind the building. It's a nice spot, good atmosphere BUT BE CAREFUL OF THE STEPS because some of T are loose. read more

I've seriously overlooked this place constantly after driving past it for years. There was a festival at St. Joe's park and I finally had an excuse to visit this little place. They sell more than ice cream, they sell actual food like hot dogs at a reasonable price. Lines aren't too long depending on what time you show up. Staff here was friendly and I also ordered a cherry slushy which was okay, which had a weird after taste. The price point for this place is unbeatable! For a local place, ice cream tastes great. They use real fruit for my strawberry banana shake and tons of peanutbutter to satisfy my hubs in the PB shake. My boys love their twist, but thought the strawberry flavor was off. Slushes were flavorful. And the price doesn't break the bank like some more specialty shops. A "small" dipped cone is comparable to a large at DQ. A bunch of picnic tables, some under a canopy; small parking lot. I sense there is a lot of walk-up local business. I'm shocked I've never written a review for this place!!! Now that the season is over I will be craving as I type this. My favorite thing Dari Delite has to offer is a caramel sundae with pecans....yum. I will cut a bitch if they ever try to come between me and that damn sundae! I don't like that when I order a dipped come they won't dip my cone in cherry dip, and put crunch topping on it. They say they can't, but right around the corner at Route 66 on Broadway they do, and have even before when it was creamy delight. The slushes are absolutely horrible. They taste like Ice chips, those little juices in the plastic jar with the aluminum foil lid that you punch open. I was majorly let down with that one. The sundae is awesome. I called to place an order over the phone and the girl that answered was extremely rude and ultimately hung up before I was even done talking. I understand that they do not take phone orders but the girls condescending tone was not professional nor needed. I never write reviews but having worked in customer service for over 20 years, I know great customer service and not so great when I see it and this was a not so great customer service. I would highly recommend re-training the staff on proper phone etiquette, especially when talking to paying customers. read more

Love their ice cream! My favorite is chocolate but the strawberry is pretty close to becoming my favorite. The sundaes are all really good and you get big portions for your money! The staff are all very friendly and upbeat. Make sure you stop to see them! read more

I like Dari Delite. The girls there are very friendly and the orders come out fast. I really enjoy the hot fudge sundaes and they take debit and credit cards. They have hot dogs which aren't too bad but the sundaes and cones are the best thing IMO about this place read more
