We all agree that the home made ice cream is tops, their flavors are authentic and do taste like homemade . Delicious ice cream, great flavors. My favorites are Starbolt and Chocolate Meets Peanut Butter. I recently tried the Coffee ice cream and it was excellent too. The look of this new Crest Hill ice cream spot caught my eye as I was driving by earlier in the day so decided to stop by on my way home later that night. They have a drive-thru in addition to a big walk-up window and a nice, kid-friendly outdoor seating area along with a good sized parking lot. I was just going to get one scoop to try but then I saw that you could either have a single for $4.29 or a double for $5.59 so I went with two. It was pretty difficult to choose as all of their flavor options sounded pretty good but I ended up going with Banana Blast and Starbolt (vanilla ice cream with fudge, salted caramel and pecans). The banana blast was great with a smooth flavor and bits of Nilla Wafers throughout. I liked the vanilla ice cream in the Starbolt and there was a nice amount of pecans but it was pretty lacking in the fudge and caramel departments though. The staff were patient and very friendly with all the customers that I witnessed and service was quick. While I enjoyed the ice cream, I don't think it was quite good enough to warrant going out of my way to ge again. But I'd consider stopping by again if I find myself around Crest Hill and in the mood for a more homemade style frozen treat. read more

What can I say but a true hidden gem. Scratch made ice cream and house made waffle cones. 20min drive for me but totally worth the drive compared to going to cookie cutter chain places that don't make their ice cream in house. Also a fun outdoor seating area, perfect place to chill in the summer! read more

Brand new business in town across the street from one of my favorite places. Overall it's a solid ice cream place, the history of this place is cute especially the name and some of the flavors. I tried coming here in the afternoon without knowing their hours and learned that they spend that time making the ice cream daily from scratch. It's also got a drive thru too. Wait times aren't bad. The prices are fair if you want me to be honest. Ease of access to the streets too. Beautiful scenery but there's always tons of room for improvement as well. read more

We haven't been here since last summer, but I see they're reopening this month. Can't wait to come back. Service was quick and friendly. I have trouble eating sweets after my pregnancy, I really appreciate that they allowed me a small sample so I could be sure it wouldn't make me sick. It was a little sweet for me, so I tried a different flavor and that was fine for me, so I ordered that. My daughter and husband also very much enjoyed their ice creams. They have a great variety here and the outdoor patio was decked out with Barbie decorations. I really hope they still do fun themed stuff when they reopen. Great newer ice cream place. All homemade ice cream with flavors for everyone's taste. The lemon raspberry Italian ice is great.

This place was really good! Their little seating area is nice and kid friendly, only problem is the drive thru is very close so just keep an eye on little ones. I got the birthday cake and added Carmel and pecans. So good, but they gave me the wrong size. My husband got a shake and they had to remake it because it was very liquidy.. and even the second one came out the same, but the flavor was really good. I would only suggest more options to put in the Sundays. We will be back tho. read more

Such a cute place, I love the outdoor vibe and the ice cream definitely tastes handmade. A small menu for now, but it's to be expected since they just opened.
