I ordered the teriyaki beef and rice bowl. Flavor was terrible and beef was dry. I also ordered a crunch roll sushi. The best way to describe my bowl was: 1. They over cooked the beef 2. Applied the sauce 3. Applied a little bit of topping I was honestly expecting the beef to be at least marinated but that wasn't the case. However, the sushi roll I ordered was good. I MIGHT come back here to at least try their chicken teriyaki. Hopefully they will still be open because if there is item(s) they're selling that is keeping this business alive. This is our "go to" place for a quick meal in the Far East Valley. The food is always prepared fresh, quickly, it's fairly healthy and they always seem to hire incredibly friendly staff. My new go to restaurant for take out or I just don't know what to do for dinner. The biggest shame is it been there for quite some time and I just tried it a month ago. I have probably done take out 4-5 times now. Food is above expectation, restaurant is VERY clean and the service is quick and friendly. Menu has a nice variety including sushi. If you order a bowl there are 2 sizes, but my husband who is a big eater says the large is too big. Lunch specials available, reasonable, and filling. Yogi's is set on the back side of a retail complex at Ellsworth and Baseline, between a pool store and a Starbucks. It is usually busy, as a testament to good food and fast service. My customary order is the Arizona Bowl and a Crunch Roll. The obviously imitation crab is still tasty on perfectly cooked rice. I've never had a bad bowl. My man gets either the chicken, beef or combo bowl. Each has perfectly cooked meat and flavorful sauce. Recently I gave the Tofu Veggie Bowl and the Katsu Chicken a try. The tofu was good, with the teriyaki sauce over it just enough. The steamed veggies were just plain, and a bit too al dente for me. Still a good choice. My man said that the katsu was tasty, but a bit "chicken nuggety". I think that this may be because he is a fat and dark meat guy. My white meat self probably would have liked it. As for the sushi rolls, I think that they are best left to a real sushi place. The Crunch Roll is always good, but it is tempura, so I don't worry as much. In this fast, plug and play restaurant, there is no possible way that the sushi ingredients are fresh. A nice addition to the restaurant is the Coke Machine. I like the range of options. But in the close quarters, be ready for other people waiting for the machine in your personal space. Ugh! Overall, Yogi's is a fast and tasty place to go for sit down or take out if you are in the area. read more

I ordered take out on Wednesday evening (today is Friday just to clarify) and honestly it was a disappointment. I'm going to attach a picture that I took inside the store of one of the items that I got and a picture of what that really looked like when I got home and opened the box. I also got a large teriyaki chicken plate and a chicken and avocado salad as well as one half California roll. All for almost $50. The teriaki chicken was very fatty and there was no salad dressing in the bag for the salad (we didn't have any in the fridge to fill in so that was a bummer) I enjoy both take out & eating out and have been doing it more and more as time goes on but, when the quality is low in what you paid for , it's not enjoyable. :( Im an Uber eats delivery person part time and I have picked up deliveries here a number of times. Horrible customer service. I was driving from 45 minutes away so I called when I was about 20 minutes away so my order would be ready when I arrived. I called 18 times with no answer. What's the point in having a phone if you aren't going to answer it. To top it off as soon as I walked in the phone rang and someone picked it up. I was thinking surely I was just calling the wrong number, but nope I checked. If they were too busy to take my order on the phone they could have answered and told me. So instead of my order being ready when I arrived I had to wait another 20 minutes. I'm furious, oh and this is the second time in a row that they've forgotten to give me a drink cup with the kids meal I ordered. Know your menu!!! read more

Ordered from grub hub I believe right on the yelp app, I gotta say first off that both times I bought food from them it was earlier than the yelp app stated and still fresh and hot from Yogis . Both times I got chicken teriyaki with either rice or yakisoba noodles , I also got one piece ( a whole roll) of sushi. Absolutely fresh and delicious, my biggest gripe is the cost, although the sushi roll is basically a whole meal in itself I think the cost is a bit steep.13.99-15.99 for one roll , I also noticed that there was a 2.99 delivery fee along with a 2.00 other fee plus tax plus tip @ 10% you're up to 10$ in just fees ,so for one person a delivered to home meal comes to around 40$ ( like i said one roll and one Chicken teriyaki bowl ) the chicken teriyaki is Definitely a lot of food but is in my opinion more moderately priced at about $12-14$ not including add ons ( like extra pack of sauce 99 cents ) regardless they'd definitely get 5 stars if the cost was a bit more reasonable. This place is so good and very helpful. I am a Whole30 / Paleo lifestyle eater, and I could TOTALLY eat here. I ordered their poke bowl, without rice or the sauce. It was essentially just Ahi Tuna and Salmon on a bed of lettuce with some seasoning. I always bring my coconut aminos with me when I eat sushi so I have a compliant sauce. They did not hesitate when I asked to replace the rice with extra lettuce. The fish was so fresh and very tasteful. I will definitely come here again. Convenient. Efficient. Clean. Food is always fresh. Friendly staff. Never had an item that we didn't enjoy. Pet peeve: Too often the sushi rolls are not completely cut. Our favorites: Caterpillar Roll (fresh water eel and cucumber inside, avocado on top), Rainbow Roll (California roll inside, tuna, salmon, eel, shrimp, avocado on top). The Teriyaki Bowls (served with steamed white rice and their signature sauce) are incredible and definitely will fill up that belly. I enjoy the Arizona Bowl (crabmeat, cucumber, avocado) and my wife's go to is the Chicken and Beef. Are there better fresh sushi joints within driving distance? Yes. But Yogi's Grill is in our neighborhood, they worked through the pandemic, implemented consistent safety protocols, have quick and efficient pickup and rapid delivery to our nearby neighborhood homes.
