I was able to attend a candlelight hot yoga session free of charge through some app (going through a trial period right now) just last night and had a wonderful time during the guided meditative session where I was able to release some of the tensions and stress I had. This DTC location is appears to be an addition to their current operation (their Lowery location might be their first one; I might be wrong though). They have a very welcoming atmosphere. Once inside, the reception area is quite roomy. You will immediately remove your shoes there so you can line them up against the window alongside Newport street. Lockers are available for class attendees. Store merchandise are placed mostly in the center of the welcoming area. The actual yoga studio is spacious. Very clean where you absolutely feel safe and comfortable. But most of all, relaxed. Yoga blocks and dumbbells (and other equipment) are in the little room to the right of it if you are facing upfront where the instructor is. If you forget a hand towel, no worries; they have plenty of them upfront for the attendees (free of charge). After your class, they give you a small rolled cold towel so you can refresh yourself; they are like "oshibori" given at a Japanese restaurant upon sitting at your table at the start of your meal (LOL)! Very considerate gesture indeed. I am still a beginner in yoga. Each time I attend a yoga class, I still get intimidated by the idea of it at the beginning but the instructor last night was one of the most helpful and supportive of not just mine but everyone's ability and limitations. I felt at ease as I could simply be myself with what I could do and couldn't do. And the candlelight without any fixed lightings created the most beautiful moment and atmosphere. Loving the vibe of this YogaSix location! I've been here once thanks to ClassPass but will be back when I'm in the area and want to get a good sweat session in! It's located right next to Belleview Station so it's a hopping area. There's street parking plus a garage next door with free 3 hour parking. I went during an open house so the place was busy but again, created an awesome vibe. The staff is super friendly and positive and was a pleasure to deal with. I did a restore class so it was very chill but they have an array of other workouts if you're looking for a little more. read more

I love yoga six! Ive been 3 times & finally decided to commit to a full month with them. I've only gone to the restore classes, but they were so good & different each time I went! Shawndra is wonderful. Clean atmosphere, the whole staff is very friendly & cares. I always feel welcome, even though I can be kind of shy at first. I appreciate the way they run their business, always hosting new fun events for us. The cold towels they offer after class is one of my favorite parts AND they have an app you can use to book your classes (with an Apple Watch version as well.) I can't get enough! read more

Recently moved to Aurora and have been looking for a nearby yoga studio. I came across Y6 and thought I would give it a try. The atmosphere upon arriving to my first class was very welcoming. I believe the woman's name at the front desk was Elizabeth, she helped me with some paperwork and made me feel right at home. The studio is on the smaller side but makes the experience feel more initiate which was nice. Very clean and open space in the front room, then one studio space towards the back. I took a Y6 Restore class on Sunday night and it was just what I needed. From the ambient lighting, to the soothing sounds playing on the speaker, I was immediately immersed into a very calm state. I signed up for the first 3 class offer and am happy I did! Would highly recommend! read more

The mix class was great for a first introduction to YogaSix. Be warned that all their classes are heated, just to varying degrees. (See what I did there?) It was tolerable for a noob though. No one would ever mistake me for a yoga aficionado! I like doing it every now and then, mostly just to be with my wife. Also to get warm on a really cold day. But this morning I went to Sunday morning yoga flow with the instructor Heather! It was so good. Actually thought as it was ending, "that was a really good workout and you know what... I could do that every Sunday!" She was an excellent teacher. Maybe the best I've ever had?The heat was just right. It had no silliness with pop philosophy. It was just a wonderful time to get moving on a Sunday morning. Really wonderful. I highly recommend this studio. I highly highly recommend this instructor. read more

Thin-skinned, insecure, and dishonest. That's what you'll get in an owner if you join Yoga Six DTC. The owner pays lip service to caring about members' health and their safety, but in reality, all that seems to matter is the bottom line. In other words, money! There may have been 100 or more ways to address a minor situation, but she handled it in by far the worst possible way. When it was calmly brought to staff's attention that a member had been constantly coughing for 30 minutes, without even covering his mouth, during a crowded HOT Yoga class, the owner's response, via text, was that she didn't want to "police people's health," and that her staff was "very uncomfortable" with the language I used in bringing to their attention the facts of the incident, which included zero profanity and not one degree of a raised voice, just actual facts as to what occurred. Unfortunately, the owner is too thin-skinned, insecure, and dishonest to actually properly investigate the incident (i.e., hearing what I had to say about what occurred), choosing instead to attack me, a very well-liked, charter member of the yoga studio. Without even asking me what my concerns were, she basically wrote a text stating that's the way it is and she would be happy to cancel my membership [if I didn't like her rules]. Her position is essentially, "if you don't like it, you can leave. I don't want to listen to any suggestions that may actually improve the business because I'm the boss." In other words, it didn't matter to her if that person had pneumonia, bronchitis, or the flu [or, most likely, even leprosy] as long as Yoga Six DTC got its money. Yoga is supposed to be a relaxing endeavor and someone who is clearly sick and incessantly coughing is obviously a serious distraction. Well, since the owner decided to lie about me, I'm responding by telling the truth about her. She describes herself as a "rules follower," which I imagine a proud member of the Nazi party would have also said. "Zhese are zhe Rules." Yet, she has consistently committed a very serious fire code violation by allowing the lobby to be left unoccupied and having the front door locked during classes and she took it upon herself to ignore Denver's mask mandate during several months when it was in place during the pandemic. As was said in Hamlet, "the lady doth protest too much, methinks," Isn't it always the most self-righteous people who are complete and total phonies? I mean, c'mon, what adult sees everything in black-and-white? It is clear the owner believes that the old saying is, "the customer is never right." Why else would she go out of her way to make a popular, loyal member of the studio feel so unwelcome so fast? What's worse than not wanting to listen to a very legitimate concern about a clearly sick participant who's in a small, crowded, heated yoga class? Not caring at all what that another member has to say about it. The truth about Yoga Six DTC is if one excellent instructor left the studio, probably more than half of the members would leave as well. My advice is to find another yoga studio, any yoga studio, where they will actually listen to, hear, address, and actually care about minor suggestions or constructive criticism without the owner acting like a mob boss who's so emotionally fragile and insecure she not only cannot accept any suggestions, which might actually inure to the benefit of the members who pay dues and keep the lights on--she won't even bother to hear them because she doesn't care what they have to say.. And if this is the way she treats a charter member who has paid thousands of dollars in dues since the Club opened, just think how she'll treat you. Seriously, what business, which survives on members' dues, is run by someone so thin-skinned and has such an eggshell-frail ego that it's her way or the highway? And while she says she doesn't want to "police people's health," isn't it clearly her duty and responsibility to say something or have her instructors say something to a person who is visibly, demonstrably sick during a class to protect the other 30 members who are also in that class? Don't other members have the right to feel safe in her studio? Unfortunately, the owner is unreasonably stubborn in refusing to comprehend the health issue presented by obviously ill attendants. More concerning is that she just doesn't care. By the way, this is the very first review I have ever posted of a business or person that wasn't 5 stars, previously taking the view that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. But this brutally honest review needed to be posted. read more

This was a great workout. I'm an active person but don't do much yoga. I tagged along with my wife on a Friday afternoon and had a great experience. This studio is clean, new, and has a nice heating system for hot yoga. The music was great, and the staff and trainers are super friendly and motivating. The classes that YogaSix offers are really challenging me to up my game and improve my strength, while still being gentle and approachable. I've been practicing yoga for about 6 years, so have had my fair share of poses and flows thrown at me. This was my first time at yoga 6, attended a Power Yoga class, and was very happy with my experience. It followed a traditional format in a warm room. The instructor was clearly experienced at leading a vinyasa flow at a high temperature so it was not very fast but still a substantial workout. She had some transitions that I had never seen before and they blew my mind a little, which is what I love most about yoga when it happens. It's so fun when you're working that hard physically but don't even realize you're exercising because you're so focused on the challenge of the flow and the poses.
