First-time yogi here and ROOT TO RISE YOGA has been amazing! I started with zero experience and adapted so quickly that I'm now attending 4-5 classes a week. I've had a hard time sticking with yoga because I never really felt comfortable and safe in those spaces. I've only been going here for about 3 weeks now and so far it has been good and I have enjoyed the classes I have taken. It's not gimmicky like some chain yoga places that really emphasized fitness and looking a certain way rather than the mind body connection. I also like how this studio is set up, and I enjoy going in the mornings as it's much more relaxed and not as many people which helps with my anxiety a lot. First rate teacher first rate owner! This boutique, yoga studio, in the heart of Lowry is truly a hidden gem! They have small classes personalized instructors and it feels very warm and welcoming. I have severe limits on what I can do and they have classes that are Tailored just to me. At the beginning of this year, February to be exact, I began looking for a place to restart my yoga journey after a pandemic hiatus of any sort of in-person group wellness. Made a short list of places to try - the first was Root To Rise. It's close and convenient to my home, even though I don't live in the Lowry neighborhood, important to me because barriers like inconvenience and cost can prevent good habits from taking root. A 10 minute drive from my home seemed perfect. I showed up on a frigid Saturday morning for hot yoga - my first time ever trying it - and was greeted by Marina's warmth and smile. Without skipping a beat, she led me to the studio space and helped me get set up. The room was already packed, but she treated me like I was the only person there for that first class! It made a potentially intimidating experience so much more pleasant. I'm not going to lie - that first class was a bit tough as hot yoga can be for beginners - but I knew I would be coming back. I scrapped my list. This was the place. Nearly 150 classes later, I can honestly say that committing to a hot yoga practice at Root to Rise has been one of absolute best decisions I've made this year. Perhaps ever. Goodness from the rhythm of this practice has infused all areas of my life. While yoga is a journey that begins from within, the caring and supportive staff at Root to Rise has been instrumental in guiding me towards growth, one hour of practice at a time. These days, I rise at 5am most days looking so forward to morning yoga here. I never expected to be that guy. We tend to throw around concepts like "home" and "community" often yet I can attest that Root To Rise is truly a fine community of students and teachers. When I discovered there was a local yoga studio in Lowry, I signed up to try it and quickly became a founding member. The studio had only improved and evolved since I joined. I have been honored and grateful to practice and be part of this sacred community. Our beloved owner, Andi, has been so incredibly responsive to our community and when she decided to reopen as an independent yoga studio (and made the difficult leave her contract with a franchise program YogaPod) we all rose up to support and rally around her. The teachers and students that practice at the studio are warm, supportive and committed to the best parts of yoga. I love the diverse offerings and varied times of classes. from hot yoga to sculpt and yin, there is something for everyone (and for whatever mood my body/mind might be in that day!). This is a top notch Yoga studio with amazing owners, amazing instructors and an amazing Community. Been going here for about 2 years as a student. Took my 200 hr. Teacher Training here, and now teach part time. This is hopefully an example of Community, because they foster a supportive environment where you just want to be a part of it. Andi is one of those owners who truly has passion for what she does and for her members. She's more than an owner to many of us and you get that feeling when you walk through the doors. Instructors are encouraged to be their self and develop their own voice and style, not be a cookie cutter teacher. I have been a member here since they 1st opened their doors and instantly felt welcomed. There is a great sense of community amongst the staff and yogis. They offer an array of classes like hot,yin,barre,flow,aerial and this summer we even met weekly at a local park. There has also been opportunities for day retreats! Through the pandemic,I've also been able to practice safely with their livestream options and limited-size classes in person. I am extremely grateful for finding my 2nd home here where the instructors are knowledgeable and truly want to connect with us. Yoga Pod Lowry is a great studio! The range of teachers is as impressive as the range of classes offered. After a sports injury I got back on my fitness goals with Yoga. As a beginner I found this studio a good fit for me. The staff and teachers are warm and welcoming. The studio is clean, laid out in a useful way, and well attended to. The schedule is varied and flexible enough to accommodate most schedules. Monthly memberships are available as well as drop in fees. Parking is plentiful in a private lot. read more

Disclaimer that I am new to yoga. What you get right away here is a peaceful and welcoming vibe. Right away you see friendly faces. The space is very clean and efficiently but beautifully appointed.
