The best frozen yogurt I've ever eaten, hands down. I was never really a frozen yogurt fan because it typically has a watery consistency and flavors are mediocre. However, I can confidently say that I like what I tried at this place better than ice cream. I found out about this place through an Instagram ad and have been meaning to visit for a while. Finally got around to it last night. I tried the pistachio and strawberry flavor. The flavor and consistency are rich. I got the mini size ($7) and they let me combine 2 flavors in one (you have a choice of two separate swirls, or one combo swirl of both flavors), and it wasn't as mini as the cup looks. The worker there gave me nice tall swirls and it was plenty for me. The pistachio flavor tasted like I was really eating a handful of pistachios, and the strawberry flavor tasted like I was eating fresh strawberries that were blended into the yogurt that day. It was very fresh. The yogurt was so rich, I couldn't even tell that it was a non-dairy product (it's made from handmade cashew and almond milk). It's great for people who want to eat plant-based, and for people who just want to try something new and don't want to feel like they're eating an unsatisfying substitute. It really seems like the creator of this chain put in a lot of effort to make a product that is fresh, real, delicious, and ethically conscious. I love the use of environmentally conscious cups/spoons as well. The shop itself is a nice space and they have pints in the freezer to take home that include other flavors apart from the 6 currently on the soft serve menu. They rotate flavors so I'm excited to try different ones. I look forward to bringing my family here to try the product and bring some home. I've noticed other reviews mentioning the price and it is a bit on the pricey side, but it's a high-end product. I'd be willing to buy a pint and save over the long run, than buy a tub of something cheaper that I'd go through in the same amount of time but doesn't feel as good to eat. But to each their own! I heard good reviews about this place from my friends. Came here because friends recommended it and said it was really good. Warning for those with a nut allergy.. this spot is not nut-allergen friendly. Out of the entire menu of yogurts and smoothies, there's really only 2 options that "have no nuts" according to the worker. Mostly everything is almond-milk based, especially for the yogurts. Anyways, I think it's best to be careful and not even try getting one of the "nut-free" smoothies because of the high chance of cross-contamination from the counters. I mean, there's peanut butter, pistachio, cashews, almonds.. yeah. Sadly a can't for me. The yogurt options are pre-made in combos, meaning you don't really choose what you want essentially, but my friends ordered different ones and they did look really good. I'm a fan of Yoga-urt and I'm so glad we have one in the Valley now. This is a bit pricier than regular froyo but the ingredients are cleaner and more natural. Tried their peanut butter flavor for the first time and it is so satisfying. I actually could've gone with a mini instead of a small because of how rich it can be. I wanna bring my mom here because she always gets peanut butter whenever we go out for froyo. I think there's a small parking lot in back but I just parked on the small residential side street nearby. I've been to the Echo Park and Glendale locations before and this is my first time in Granada Hills. I wanted to try their Pineapple Paradise and Ultimate Ube flavors. I sampled them together and they tasted so good together. Got the Magic shell topping on them. According to the cashier, this location is different from the other locations so the reward system worked differently. I signed up by writing down my email. I got a pint ($16) of the Ultimate Ube with the magic shell topping in a small ($9.25) cup. The cashier was so nice to add the magic shell topping to the bottom, middle, and top. Although this spot is pricey, it's hard to find good vegan ice cream. Their ice cream are either almond or cashew based. There is seating inside and one gender neutral bathroom. Came here late at night and was so happy they were open -- huge plus! The yogurt was delicious, tasted very fresh, and the portions were actually generous. I'll admit I was a little worried at first because I paid almost $10 for a small cup, but once I tried it, it felt worth it. The flavor was great and clearly high quality. This frozen yogurt shop has popped up on social media for us and we put it on our list to try soon! With it being so hot this afternoon we thought it would be the perfect day to grab a frozen treat! We made our way to Yoga-urt and once we arrived we were a bit confused with the parking, as we didn't see where there was a lot. We ended up parking down the street out front and walked over to the shop. The shop is newer and it is really nice. There are a few tables that you can sit at and enjoy your frozen yogurt. They have the toppings bar as soon as you walk in as well as the list of flavors they have for the day. The shop rotates 6 different flavors each day. The frozen yogurt is made with cashew and almond milk so its vegan and dairy free! The employee let us sample any of the flavors we wanted to and informed us about the yogurt. We ordered a small cup of the peanut butter prana and a small cone of the vanilla harmony. The employee then asked if we wanted to add any toppings and after asking the price we declined because it was an additional $1 for the first topping and .50 for each additional one. Premium toppings such as fruit are an additional $2. If you add a sauce to your yogurt it is an additional $1.25. If you want your frozen yogurt in a cone it also is an additional charge on top of the cup price (Mini +1.75 and Small +2.25.) The total for our order came to $20 for one small cup and one small cone which we thought was kind of pricey. The flavors of both frozen yogurts were really delicious. The peanut butter one was definitely better in our opinion! The vanilla was just a basic vanilla flavor. The cone was definitely more on the overdone side, super crunchy and kind of a burnt taste. Overall we probably would not come back here due to the size vs price of the frozen yogurt. We feel like you could do better with an Acai bowl with a bunch of toppings for the price. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot since it opened and was very pleased to finally see the hype! It did not disappoint. The strawberry flavor was so delicious and refreshing. It was not heavy at all and paired perfectly with the almonds. I will say- this place is not your typical froyo spot. Everything is vegan and most of the items are made with nuts so allergy people beware. They also allow you to sample the flavor before you choose. Only con I will say is that toppings are extra. You pay PER topping and some of them are more expensive than others and labeled as "premium." Kind of crazy, but you could easily spend $16 on a single small cup of froyo here if you added 2-3 toppings. I kept it simple for this reason. Here's some feedback on my visit around 5:30 on a weeknight. I split the banana split with my daughter which was delicious. However both of the people working were less than pleased to be there. We waited 3 minutes at the counter before the first one came out from the back to help us. She was not friendly at all. Then another person came and she couldn't have cared less to help us when I went back for my to-go order. I had put $2 in the tip jar when I initially placed my order (before I realized how bad the service was) and when the person helping us left, she leaned across the counter in front of us to get her tips as she was leaving. I was really disappointed in the service. The yogurt was yummy, but I'm not sure I'll be back if the service remains that apathetic. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for a sweet treat after dinner and I found this Granada Hill's location of Yoga-urt. After looking at the Yelp page reviews and discussing the flavors, we were shocked to find out that this particular frozen yogurt was plant-based! We decided to drive over on a Thursday night a few hours before closing. The shop itself was light, bright, full of amazing colorful artwork of inspiration on the walls. We were greeted by a friendly young woman who told us about the company and offered us free samples of the 6 rotational flavors available this week on Yoga-urt draft. After sampling a few, I decided to go with Peanut Butter Prana and Salted Caramel Zen. A perfect blend of Kosher yumminess that my taste buds (and my digestive system) will appreciate. For the record, my girlfriend went with another flavor twist combo: Chocolate Bliss and Strawberry Serenity. We both opted for the mini size cup with one topping each. She went with pistachios while I opted for the naughty brownie bites. Both were swirled to perfection and handed over with a smile. The price for two minis with toppings was under $15 which a tad more than other traditional fro-yo joints, however, I would argue that the flavors are stronger, less artificially sweet tasting, way less sugary and definitely much better health-wise. The portion sizes are also waaaay bigger than the display cups in front of you, so prepare yourself. There is also a takeaway option for frozen Yoga-urt pints for flavors that are not currently swirling, as well as some amazing Yoga-urt sandwiches, soft serve pies and other dessert delicacies for on the go. What a wonderful addition to the granada hills community! Had no idea this new building with residential and retail space even existed! Located on the southeast corner of Encino Ave and Chatsworth, there is some street parking in front and a lot in the back, when you enter off Encino. Plant based soft serve yogurt and gluten free toppings, all of which are relatively healthy compared to somewhere like menchies. The yogurt flavors are simple but delicious and super creamy; i got to sample them and chose two - strawberry and coconut macaron, yum!! I got fresh strawberries and waffle cone pieces for $1.50 - your first topping is $1 and every additional topping is .50. Unless you get a premium topping (brownie pieces, vanilla cake, and a few others), which adds an extra $1 as your first topping. I ordered the small which was a decent size portion. The mini is cheaper and you can get unlimited toppings for $1.25, however, you can't fit very much so IMO, the small is a better value given how much more you get. My mother got almost the same as me, but instead of waffle cone pieces opted for fresh mango. Froyo prices: Mini $6.75/ Small $8.75/ Medium $11.25/ Large $13 It was a very clean and pleasant space with a decent amount of seating. When we first got there all the tables were empty but a rush came through shortly after and by the time we left, there was no available seating left so we actually gave up our table to a family since we were done. I imagine though that most of the time seating is not an issue. The lady helping us was super friendly and patient, and answered all of our questions. She even had a sheet with nutrition facts available which was nice. I appreciated the cold water dispenser in the corner, as it was a hot day out and even with the yogurt, sometimes you want some water. This is definitely a "premium" or "luxury" yogurt spot but I honestly only spent maybe a $1 more than when I go to somewhere like Menchies and this left me feeling so much better and I found it more enjoyable. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the rotating flavors; peaceful peach, key lime, caramel apple, and boysenberry pie all sound incredible! Welcome to the neighborhood, Yoga-urt! I wanted to try this spot in Granada Hills since I live in the area and I was blown away. The options are super healthy and organic and the place was super clean and efficient. I tried the strawberry, tart and the vanilla frozen yogurts with the cones and cups and each one was a delight. It's not a yoga studio. It's a yogurt shop! :) I've been driving pass this shop and did not realize it was a yogurt shop until I drove by with my daughter. She has been going to Yoga-urt's other locations and was excited to try this one. Located in Old Town Granada Hills, this shop is a wonderful addition to the area. It's located in a newly built beautiful multi-use building with residential housing and businesses . There is a lot to the rear but street parking in front was readily available. Yoga-urt sells plant-based soft serve / frozen yogurt that is made from scratch in the store. They use almond milk and dairy free ingredients. Flavors rotate and they offer samples. Toppings are available. *See photos. We ordered 2 mediums which ended up being more than we could finish. The yogurt was heavier than what I am used to and quite filling. IMO, the taste is very different from regular frozen yogurt shops like Menchies and Tutti Frutti. It's probably healthier for you. It's also more expensive. Service was outstanding. The young man who assisted us was patient, friendly and helpful. While we were there eating our yogurt, there was a constant stream of people coming in.
