Love this place! Surrounded by goodness. The names of dishes, the ingredients, vegan based, and people... you can't be here and not feel grateful. The" ! am well" bowl was delicious. Lions mane, broccolini, asparagus, edamame, coconut dressing, coconut Jazmine rice-Yum ! Margarita Pizza "I am happy" from the happy hour menu was just OK not my favorite tbh. Dessert was pretty epic. "I am eternal" hazelnut praline chocolate torte. Definitely recommend. Service is always pleasant. Love that they have a scanner to pay bill now instead of waste paper. The self reflective question in beginning is always fun :)

This is one of my favorite plant-based brunch spots here in the LA area. I have dined here many times throughout the years at both this location in Larchmont and the other one in Venice. The ambiance is always a cool, calm, and chill vibe. I tend to come around the time they open on the weekends, and it's especially quiet, and I enjoy eating out in the outdoor area. Smoothies are delicious and they offer so many customizable options. On this visit, I had the savory version of "I Am Hospitable." This waffle is cooked to perfection and it has the perfect amount of crispiness and fluffiness. The oyster mushroom is exceptionally well-cooked with a great crunch without it being too oily. Everything here is always seasoned appropriately. Customer service here goes above and beyond, and I believe (Candace?) saw us on our last visit. She was so warm and engaging, plus she gave some really great suggestions. I wish other restaurants had people like this. On every visit, no matter who seats us, we receive the same warm welcome and friendly service that makes us feel great the rest of the day

This place has been on my list to check out for a long time, and I'm pleased to say it was not a disappointment. The layout is cool and really makes the most out of the space. We sat outside and it felt nice and comfortable. I was very impressed that the menu had whole food dishes with house made dressing and condiments. Candice was phenomenal and truly helped elevate our experience

Solid place for vegan food in LA. We went for the current Dine LA special and paid $35 each for a drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Overall service was okay. Perhaps they were busy due to it being a Saturday night. Staff was friendly overall, but we waited 20 minutes after we asked multiple waiters for our check (AND even went to the hostess stand to ask for it again) then when we received it, were charged incorrectly. We also had to ask for water refills multiple times, as no one checked in on us during our meal. I ordered the Dine LA special drink, Buffalo cauliflower app, sweet potato and curry bowl, and key lime pie. My friend ordered the same drink, Dine LA special lemon arancini app, Dine LA special coconut tacos, and cookie. Some items (such as the drink, cauliflower, and tacos) were stronger than others, but they all were solid. Honestly, without the Dine LA specials, I think the prices were a bit high for a casual restaurant. The ambiance is true SoCal- open, bright, airy, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Would be back if I'm in the mood for a plant-forward meal.

Visited Cafe Gratitude while in Los Angeles. The atmosphere was super relaxed and easygoing, and the service was friendly without being over the top. Tried a couple of their dishes -- really fresh, clean flavors with a cool twist that kept things interesting. It's the kind of spot where you can just sit back, enjoy your meal, and not feel rushed. Overall, a solid, chill place and worth coming back to. Saluti

Cafe Gratitude is basically what would happen if a hug, a yoga retreat, and a vegan brunch spot had a beautiful organic baby. Everything was spotless, calm, and full of genuinely lovely people. The service was so warm I briefly considered asking if I could move in. I ordered a latte, the Caesar tempeh wrap, and a bowl -- and somehow every single bite tasted like it had been blessed by woodland fairies with culinary degrees. Flavor? Absolutely out of this world. But the BEST part? The names of the dishes. "I Am Well," "I Am Grateful," "I Am Light"... and when your server brings your food they lovingly announce: "You are well." Honestly, being affirmed by a stranger while handed organic vegan food healed at least 37% of my problems. I came for lunch and accidentally left spiritually moisturized. If you want delicious fully vegan organic food, positive vibes, and the experience of being gently complimented by your salad, this place is IT.

This has been one of my go-to restaurants for years whenever I would visit LA. However, I now feel like I probably won't come back. The food just isn't very good anymore and I feel like nothing is flavorful. I'm not sure if the quality has gone down or if my standards have gone up. We ordered the gem salad, lions mane sandwich, and pesto alfredo pasta. The salad dressing was overpowered by the water content of the lettuce, meaning the dressing probably wasn't "strong" enough. The "bacon" on top tastes just like mushrooms marinated in soy sauce. The pasta had a very weak pesto flavor. The bed of arugula under the pasta makes the dish very bitter if you get a bite even with a small bit of the leaves. I do like that there are veggies like edamame in the pasta! The lions mane sandwich is one we've had before and really enjoyed, but there was significantly less lions mane this time and it just tasted overall more dry. The side potatoes are too thick for my personal preference. I wished they were smashed a little more. For this visit alone, I would've probably given two stars for the food. However, service is always great here and I have had dishes that i've loved here in the past, so I will give three stars.

Perfect spot for wholesome food! Everything is so flavorful, filling and nourishing. The I AM CARING nachos and I AM KANSHA bowl were excellent.

Came here for a girlfriend's birthday dinner and was excited to finally try Cafe Gratitude after hearing so much about it. We ordered a few dishes to share, and I loved how each menu item is named as an affirmation--so cute! We got: I Am Delectable (corn ribs with salsa macha, crema ajo blanco, cilantro, and lime) - so good, especially with the sauce. I'd never had corn ribs before but would definitely order again. 4.1/5. I Am Trusting (roasted purple potato & lion's mane mushroom salad with garnet yam, bell peppers, kale, broccolini, edamame, mung bean quiche, spinach pesto, and BBQ sauce) - couldn't really pick out the lion's mane since everything was mixed together, but the flavors worked beautifully. 4.1/5. I Am Fulfilled (butternut bolognese lasagne with broccolini, spinach, truffled almond béchamel, almond burrata, rice lasagne noodles, Brazil nut parmesan, and gremolata, served with a Caesar salad) - such an interesting vegan take on lasagna, and surprisingly hearty. 4.3/5. I Am Giving (Hawaiian pizza with pineapple, blackened tempeh, coconut bacon, marinara, coconut burrata, and Brazil nut parmesan) - the coconut burrata was creamy and delicious, and I discovered I love tempeh. 4.2/5. To drink, I had I Am Powerful - a hard blue lemonade with Juneshine hard kombucha, blue spirulina, lemon, and agave. Refreshing and unique! 4/5. The staff were warm and friendly, even taking a group photo for us. This place is a great reminder of how creative and flavorful plant-based food can be--honestly some of the best I've had.

I AM BEAMING - delicious pasta
Sam J.

Came to Cafe Gratitude for the first time. I'll start by saying I am not a vegan and don't often eat vegan but this will not be the last time I eat here. DineLA was a perfect time to try it out. Everyone loves Larchmont for the charm and not LA feel of the town and this restaurant fits right in with the vibe. We sat out on their patio on a beautiful evening. The service was great and honestly how can you not have gratitude for getting helped by people that are truly appreciative for what they do. We started with two mocktails that were delicious. I had the Italian chopped salad which honestly can compete for best salads I've ever had. We also got the crab cakes and I tasted it. It wasn't for me but loved by the table. My main was the I AM BEAMING pesto pasta that I'll call perfection, keeping the P's in place. Very filling, very flavorful and all gone by the end of the meal. Finished off the dinner with the cookie dessert. I am not a nuts in my cookies person so it wasn't my favorite. However the "ice cream" on top of the warm cookie helped me get through it just fine. If you know a vegan or are a vegan yourself. This is a place where you don't have to search for something you can eat. The menu is for you. And that is something to have gratitude for.

Cinnamon roll
Erin H.

Have been here a few times. It's so cute, love the light breezy vibes. Staff is *so* nice. I got the tahini butter cookie today, which was a really nice texture and not too sweet. Really enjoyed. Have had the cinnamon roll in the past which was also super good. Both are gluten free. Need to come back for food but tend to go to the Venice location for dinner cuz it's closer. The only downside is that it feels like kinda hefty up charges for gluten free alterations, like minimum of $4.50 on dishes that are already $22-$25 at baseline. Sigh up for their rewards program!

Sophia E.

I've been here countless times and every single time I come I am enthralled with how good this place is!! It never disappoints! It's so tasty and you can't even tell it's vegan! The service is always wonderful! And the place is beautiful! You can't go wrong if you sit inside or outside! I love this place soooo much! Highly recommend eating here!!!

Ananta Ripa A.

Absolutely love this place! Their vegan food is always so creative and on point. I love the variety of their menu and how the waiters give you an inspiring question to contemplate with your table mates and how the atmosphere is so warm and friendly!

Everything was fresh, good portions and most importantly actually flavorful. The Seoul Bowl was the healthier option and still had plenty of flavor. The Po Boy sandwich was my fav.. not exactly "health food" but not overly heavy either. Just the right balance. I had never tried pea protein shrimp before so I was a little skeptical but it was surprisingly delicious and worked really well in the sandwich. We both like our food spicy and they were great about customizing it for us. They added jalapeños to my sandwich and gave us spicy mayo on the side which pretty much made the meal perfect for our taste. The grilled organic tempeh was the only thing I personally found a little bland but my wife really liked it so probably more of a preference thing than an issue with the dish. The Sunset Smoothie was thick, tasted great and was a very good portion. Yes, prices are definitely on the higher side but unlike some other places in the area where you pay premium prices and leave wondering why, here the portions and especially the quality made it worth it. We would definitely come back.

They only have a hose A/C in the corner that didn't do much to cool the place down. The food though was amazing! As 2 vegetarians and 1 vegan, we had never seen such an extensive plant based option with not only vegan cheeses but meat substitutes with protein! No wonder they have been ranked #1 for multiple years. The starter bread came in a brown bag and was soft and delicious, especially with the house pesto. You could really taste the basil but it didnt feel too oily. We got the calamari because none of us have ever seen a vegan one on a menu! It was breaded and fried and had a squishy center made of pea protein that I guess simulates the real one? It came with a marinara dipping sauce. I could obly have a few because they were fried and I felt like they were a bit too salty Next the pastas came out - the Pistachio pesto and the fusili with sausage. Both were delicious. The pesto sauce was the same one we had with the bread but the pasta had Pistachio chunks in it as well and generous amounts of pesto. The sausage was chewy and the sauce must've had either the same seasoning or chunks of it blended in because you could taste the same flavor in that as well! We had hopes of trying dessert but these 3 dishes were a perfect size for our party and we had been starving ourselves for most of the day for this (probably due to all the protein included in a usually carb only meal). The service was prompt, dishes came out quickly, and water was always filled. I am looking forward to returning to try all the other dishes!

For pasta, the gnocchi was great, but the Pappardelle Brasato was outstanding and easily one of the highlights of the meal. And then there was the tiramisu--absolutely outstanding. Honestly, one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. I would come back for that alone. Overall, the food was very good, with a couple of standout dishes rather than everything completely blowing us away. We ordered... - Appetizers: 'spicy handroll' dip, goat empanadas, goat liver mousse - Veggies: roasted carrots, wood-fired sprouted cauliflower, sautéed green beans, grilled corn - Salad: shrimp & crispy greens salad, - Fish: pan roasted salmon, roasted oysters, - Meat: grilled kalbi-style short ribs, lamb curry - Dessert: matcha tres leches, mango sticky rice Honestly, if I were to do the same family style again, I would make sure I got a good taste of everything again. If I were to choose one of each category though, I'd go with spicy handroll dip as my favorite appetizer, sauteed green beans, I'll try the other salad option (the shrimp & crispy greens salad was really lemon-ey, almost too much), salmon was fantastic and cooked perfectly, the kalbi-style good was impressive and fall off the bone, andddd I can't really complain about either of the desserts. Everyone ended up splitting, it was maybe....$175 per person? Not too bad.

I've been to the Girl & the Goat multiple times for dinner. Unfortunately, I did not have a great…read moreexperience last night. The food lagged and the dishes were not as delicious as they used to be. Green beans: this dish used to be my favorite dish and I always order for the table. Unfortunately, the dish was super salty and did not taste like is has previously. I let the waiter and waitress know but they didn't offer anything besides an apology Grilled Dorade and Naan with dip: these were the highlights of the show and items I also always order for the table. S'mores dessert: we ordered a s'mores dessert and it was a super small deconstructed s'more with one marshmallow. The graham cracker was almost a thin pretzel and had overwhelming cinnamon flavor. This dish was disappointing and the size for a child. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food and service were not up to the same caliber as usual during yesterday's dinner.
