Service was spot on. Parking is horrible when you see a spot grab it. Rookie mistake went on NBA all stars weekend and I think they all were on LA Brea when we went. The bar was my least favorite but the banana bundt cake I wish I bought more. I barely got a taste of the lemon as my son would not share. Cute place plan to come back for more items.

I had to take a trip to LA for an audition. It went very well hip hip hooray After finishing, I was hungry now my wife joined me for this trip. Nice day out beautiful ride. We found the Sycamore kitchen delightful attentive. My wife had her fluffy eggs with avocado. She was thoroughly happy They had pancakes and I'm a bit of a pancake snob. They were fantastic. My only recommendation is to ask for more syrup and it was good syrup, but yeah poor it all over those pancakes. They were hot when they were delivered to the table. The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere delightful

    Croque Madame and Yucatan Bowl

First time here and this place is amazing. I have the Yucatan Bowl and it was not what I was expecting. The Bowl ended up being delicious. I had a piece of the croque madame and it's your normal sandwich that just taste o so good. The best part of this brunch, was seeing Jesse Williams (Greys Anatomy) walking in and eating there as well.

Good service, good food, good ambiance, conveniently close to Japan LA and Trader Joe's. Nice outdoor seating area..

We were surprised at how good their pastries are. The line was a bit of wait but the food was great. I'd definitely try it if I was in the area.

Half a Bahn mi sandwich. They are huge for me share or two meals!

Excellent food! Love the Turkey Bahn Mi there! Not on traditional French bread but it is on delicious homemade brain bread. Also huge I share or two meals. Beautiful courtyard to eat in. Their specials are always good too. Everything is fresh and healthy! Excellent homemade breakfast breads, muffins, desserts etc Wonderful salads and homemade soups too! You will not be disappointed!

Have visited this place a couple times since being in LA and everything I have gotten so far has been amazing! Their drinks, pastries, and food are all very photogenic and all very tasty. The indoor and outdoor seating is top tier. Even tho it is next to a busy road, you still feel like you're in a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. It does get busy sometimes but even then I have still always been able to find seating.

Very good sandwich spot! Cute outdoor area, amazingly executed sourdough bread grilled to perfection! Soup was very good too! Service was quick and professional Will come back.

I really enjoyed this spot! Went with the cured salmon toast, I do wish it was on a regular toast, they serve this on more of a toast cracker. It came with a side salad and as silly as it sounds that was a huge standout. It was simple but so perfectly seasoned and dressed which shows their care and attention. I also ordered an ice cubano and that was pretty delicious! Their dessert options are also quality. The space itself was so pretty and inviting, I 100% recommend and will be back

    Falafel bowls!

I always make it a point to grab lunch here when I'm in town. The food is delicious with lots of healthy options (falafel bowl is always great) & the baked goods are divine. Ahem -I say again, the baked goods are DIVINE! If they have agua fresca (regardless what flavor it is) do yourself a favor & try it, so refreshing especially on warmer days. Generally pretty busy but service is quick, the line to order moves fast & there's lots of seating.

CHICKEN SALAD TOAST, MEDITERRANEAN SALAD, and DEVILED EGGS
    Lauren A.

Nothing -- not a single thing -- we ordered here was good. Came here on Sunday afternoon for lunch and got the Mediterranean Salad, Chicken Salad Toast, and Deviled Eggs. I'm not one to reach for salt -- ever! But everything we had was bland. Nothing was heavy about anything we ordered, but we couldn't even finish it because of the flavor all of it lacked. Skip this spot -- plenty of other "cute" places on this block better worthy of your appetite and money.

    Courtney B.

The service is fantastic. Food is delicious. Ambiance is everything you want from a breakfast / lunch coffee spot. I recommend the shrimp tacos lunch special. The baked goods are delicious too if you need a pastry fix. The display is always filled to the brim with fresh exciting sweet treats.

The coffee, specifically the Spanish Latte is incredibly good! The pastries are delicious, the place is cozy and comfortable and if's easy to find parking around the area. Also, the staff is some of the friendliest in the are, highly recommend adding this to your list!

Surprisingly not too sweet even with the demerara sugar coating. It wasn't really crunchy but more sticky and caramelized from sitting.

I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off.
