All of my trips here seemed good. But today, my review is based on my recent visit. August 13, 2025. Every time we have some the outside is always wonderfully up kept. They even have a few places to sit outside and a giant checker board to play and a few other things to do. The plantings are also very nice to view outside. Inside is air conditioned and nicely decorated and clean. There is a small side room to the right upon entering which I'm guessing may be a room to rent for a party. We noticed two boards that had ice cream flavors and their descriptions. One was outside just before you enter and the other was straight ahead after you come inside. If you veer to the left you will see the icecream counter. And turning more into that area you will see a few more tables to sit and have your ice cream. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the place and there was no bad odors. There were some amazing flavors of icecream to choose from. One of them appearing very tie-dyed and exciting looking. There were three of us in this trip. I got one scoop of the Heaps of love ice cream. Which turned out to be pretty big for only one scoop and I got that in a chocolate dipped waffle cone of-course! The quality of the icecream was pretty good! I enjoyed it very much but I definitely did not find my favorite just yet. Person number two got one scoop of cotton candy ice cream and one scoop of birthday Ice cream in a bowl. He was very happy with his ice cream and ate all of his ice cream! Person number three got cotton candy ice cream and said he liked it better than the name brand ice cream we buy from the grocery store. The two women that worked behind the counter were kind and courteous and wished us a great day upon leaving. We enjoyed our visit! We were there when it was slow. There was only one other couple there before us who were still deciding on their choices when we got there and let us go. They had great things to say about the place and had been there many times. I have yet to have a bad experience here. Even when I came last year. Yes they were slow last year and the younger teenager behind the counter was immature but we took that for what that was. People also complained that this place was expensive. It cost us under $20.00 for what we got and it was good quality ice cream. But this is also Uppity Sturbridge Ma. You can expect to pay more here anyway! It is what it is. I feel this was a good experience and I do recommend Wicked licks. One thing to add here is that wicked Licks is located in a very easy area to come and go! It's at the turn around at the light. They have a fair amount of parking too!

There were children present and we tried our best to keep them away from this dangerous person. There was a female bartender with him trying to pretend he was fine and trying to hide his behavior but we could all see how absolutely black out drunk this older man was. While everyone was leaving at the end of the night, this man was outside stumbling and projectile vomiting in front of all the guests. How mortifying for him, but more importantly, for the bride. This place should be absolutely ASHAMED of itself for allowing this kind of conduct to represent the orchard. Never ever recommending this facility to anyone. TERRIBLE

I assume they don't have enough servers, so there will be a wait even if they have so many empty tables. The quality of service can be a hit-or-miss, and in our case, it has been more "miss" than hit. We haven't had much issue, but simply that the service can be very slow, and not very friendly. They have so many comfort food options to choose from, not so healthy maybe, but I don't consider healthy food to be comfort food anyways. LOL. The portion is nice and large, we always get very full after visiting here. We've tried some of the drink offerings (non-alcoholic), and most of them come out way too sweet. They have a convenient payment system where you can scan a QR code on the receipt and pay on the phone.

The chicken was cooked to perfection, the right amount of pesto and served on a delicious roll. The service was wonderful and the ambience was fantastic! We had the Honey Ale, NE IPA and the Irish Red Ale. All were very good and what a craft beer lover would expect. This is our second time here and we are not from the area. I first visited these guys when they were operating out of a small barn, and seeing the evolution to this 53,000 sq ft, $18.5M facility is seriously impressive. They follow a "direct-to-consumer" model -- selling everything right out the front door -- and they've mastered it. I've been here many times over the years and go whenever I have the opportunity, which says everything. Tried some of their standout beers -- King Julius is the gold standard, consistently ranked among the best beers in the world. Their flagship Julius is just as impressive, with massive notes of mango and peach -- incredibly well balanced and executed. There are usually food trucks on site, which adds to the experience -- you can enjoy a fresh pour while picking up your take-home haul. Fun fact: On BeerAdvocate's all-time Top 250 list, Tree House often has 30+ beers featured, something almost no other brewery can match.
