Really good Mexican spot. Great food, cute little hut, good service, clean, and also have buzzers to let you know your foods done. Decided to finally try it out we got the Taco sampler and today's special: Tropical burrito salad with all the fixings and of course chips and queso. I LOVED THE CHIPS AND QUESO! Literally the best. Unfortunately I must not have written a review on Burrito Hut during our previous stop through MA a few years ago , but I remembered it being much better than it was on our most recent visit. I understand with rising cost of goods things get more expensive but don't skimp on quality or quantity when your still charging $15 for a burrito. I might be burrito biased because I'm used to finding a Taqueria on every corner in Cali, but I've had my share and unfortunately Burrito Hut wasn't up to par. Never disappointed by the food or service. This is a GREAT business, rarely goto this part of Mass but when close I goto Southbridge for cheap gasoline and Burrito Hut. The beeper idea is great makes people wander to the Food Bunny or other stores instead of standing around like pleebs waiting for tacos in the rain. Gotta remember to get green salsa instead of the corn one with mad cilantro, just a matter of taste no gripe their queso is from a can (like even the fancy sit down cantinas) they maybe doctored up who cares its a taco trolley. My gripe is you need stronger plastic forks for the burritos and chimis that are the size of a propane cylinder. Trying to attack that thing with your flimsy takeout forks is like taking a fork to a gunfight. read more

All I can say is wow for a little trailer in southbridge. I read some reviews and decided to stop in. Sure glad I did I got the taco meat chimichanga and wow was it huge but flavorful and had a container of sour cream on the side. Nice touch so it stays cold. They also have pagers. Nice touch while I waited in my car on this rainy day. They have plenty of picnic tables for nicer days also. read more

This is a hidden gem!!!! Tried this on a whim with low expectations, but was WOWed by how good it was! The most flavorful burrito I've ever had and closest to an authentic Mexican burrito. So far so good, saw they had a habenaro burrito and I couldn't get here fast enough. The burrito was good, not as spicy as I had hoped but it was subtle and good. The girl serving me was great and the food came out quickly. Sat at their one picnic table in the shade and enjoyed my meal. My sister and I hit up the Burrito Hut after making the pilgrimage to Tree House Brewing Co. in Charlton. We were blown away with how good this place is. We got a burrito, taco salad, and chips and guacamole. The veggies were fresh, the meat perfectly seasoned, and the guacamole chunky and flavorful. We saw another group get the fried ice cream and it looked delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! read more

Good Mexican takeout. Not completely authentic but hey it's a burrito hut and definitely better than Taco Bell. Lol Not to mention this is it for Mexican food in town. I got the taco trio with the chicken, beef and pork. All pretty good but my favorite is the chicken, by far it has the best flavor. I wasn't a fan of romaine lettuce on my taco or even the salsa. My wife got the loaded shredded beef burrito and said it is definitely the best burrito she's had from a takeout place because usually they're lacking flavor. We also shared the chips and salsa with guacamole. Honestly, the salsa was terrible. It didn't seem fresh and there was something off about it. The guacamole needed salt but once we added it it was really delicious. Next time we know to skip the salsa and double the guac! Will definitely go again if I can't make it to Worcester or Boston for the real good stuff. -Somehow forgot to comment on the customer service. Last time it was eh okay but this time I got someone new. A guy with longer hair. He was completely awesome. Helpful, polite and had a huge smile the entire time. OK my vegan peeps. This was my first try at this establishment. What a pleasant surprise. I said I was vegan and without a flinch they rattled off what they could whip up for me and described some other delicious Tacos and Nacho's they could do. Very friendly and very enthusiastic. With most "mainstream" restaurants when you say you don't want meat and cheese...well that's about what you get. It's roughly 1/2 the weight, nothing is added to compensate. Well Not Here. These guys loaded my burrito Good. I'm talking beans rice, squash, corn, avocado, olives and a delicious sauce. Plus they gave me a side of their Really hot sauce. It was every bit as hefty as a good chipotle burrito but with a lot more flavor. And not so drippy and runny. To top it off they had whole wheat burrito wraps ! Yes indeed I will be back to this vegan friendly establishment. Oh, and for the gluten free peeps, I was told they can also take care of You ....Came back another time and tried their Potato Burrito (vegan style). If you love good tasting fries and crave something different then give this a try, Very delicious! .......continue to return here. They have only gotten better. Just check out my pics. This is some seriously good food. The guys make everything from scratch when you order. They also make their own Barbacoa, which is delicious. Seasonings and flavors are spot-on, and not too salty. The wife usually gets the barabacoa quesadilla, which is a perfect mix of melted cheese, peppers, and meat. I've eaten just about every burrito they serve, and they're all delicious.
