Summer 2021 Menu

Really good Mexican spot. Great food, cute little hut, good service, clean, and also have buzzers to let you know your foods done. Decided to finally try it out we got the Taco sampler and today's special: Tropical burrito salad with all the fixings and of course chips and queso. I LOVED THE CHIPS AND QUESO! Literally the best. Great option for vegetarians as well. Also tried the churros so good! Will definitely be back.

Burrito Hut was so good! I tried the firecracker chicken quesadilla. It was amazing. It was very well seasoned and flavorful as well as filling. It was also reasonably priced. I got rice, a quesadilla and a side of queso for $13. You can't beat that. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Taco meat chimichanga the way the menu has it delicious.

All I can say is wow for a little trailer in southbridge. I read some reviews and decided to stop in. Sure glad I did I got the taco meat chimichanga and wow was it huge but flavorful and had a container of sour cream on the side. Nice touch so it stays cold. They also have pagers. Nice touch while I waited in my car on this rainy day. They have plenty of picnic tables for nicer days also.

1. This place share the parking lot with Big Bunny supermarket. 2. Prices are reasonable and portions are HUGE. 3. The neighborhood could look a little sketchy but the food makes up for that! 4.They have a few picnic tables for eating there. 5. The guys in there are nice. 6. Sometimes it takes a while to get the food after ordering it but thats because the make every order from scratch. 7.Give it a try for lunch.

So far so good, saw they had a habenaro burrito and I couldn't get here fast enough. The burrito was good, not as spicy as I had hoped but it was subtle and good. The girl serving me was great and the food came out quickly. Sat at their one picnic table in the shade and enjoyed my meal. Bunch of people in their cars eating or waiting for the little pager things to go off letting them know that their grub is ready.

Great tasting food, friendly service, and deep fried cheesecake- what more can you ask for? The food is worth the drive from a 10 mile radius. Honestly, it's one of best tasting and freshest burritos I've had in years.

Chicken Burrito Bowl with Guacamole. Delicious!

Heard great things about this place so I stopped by and picked up a menu. I liked the menu so much that I ordered from them the next day. I called in and ordered a chicken burrito bowl with a side of guacamole. The food was ready quickly. Upon picking up the food I was happy with how friendly the woman at the window was. I was impressed by the chicken burrito bowl. The flavors were delicious and fresh. Very happy to have found this place! Will be ordering again very soon.

I used to go here on my way home from Nichols College. The burritos are big, cheap, and the opener is so kind.

A solid 5 star experience. I'd wanted to go to Sayulita for a while, however, since it opened,…read morethere was always a long wait. So a Sunday at an off time (3:45) might get us in? Still a 20 minute wait. They take your phone number & call when table is ready. And the wait was fine. Cotton Hollow perserve is across the street, so a short walk over there and back worked out a perfect way to pass the time. We were seated in the bar area - at a regular table. It was decorated in a fun way - fish artwork, a tv, natural wood. We didn't quite understand the surf board that hung over the bar though? My daughter & I started with a drink - I had mango pina colada, she had a drink with gin, cranberries. Both good. Food - exceeded my expectations. I had the enchilada duo. Chicken & beef. I usually like beef better, however I think the chicken was in a mole sauce - so delicious. Husband had 2 brisket tacos that he loved. Daughter had the rice bowl (with chicken). Decided to split the churros for dessert. Came with: ice cream, Carmel & chocolate sauce. Yes - we will be back. I saw a patio outside. Warmer weather is coming

My order included the saucedo taco, pulpo taco and watermelon marg. Saucedo taco = brisket and avocado w/ onions. This was AMAZING and I will add to any future order. Pulpo taco = octopus with sauce + veg. This was OK, tasted very charred and was chewy. I was excited to try octopus, but it might not be my thing. The watermelon marg was very mild in flavor and I personally would prefer it to have been sweeter. Overall, great experience, wonderful waitstaff who split our bill perfectly, some of the food was not exactly my taste, and the wait was long. I will have to come back and find my favorite foods. The decor was very cozy and you could sit indoors or outdoors.

LOL I don't know why I keep giving this place my business. Maybe it's because of the lack of…read morerestaurants in the area? This is the closest to "ethnic food " we have in Oxford?! Either way.... they find new and improved ways to disappoint our delivery service. Quite a few times I have found hair in my food. That should have been it- especially since they promised to send us a gift card, even though they never did. This particular time? They sent us a JOKE of a meal consisting only of a sad, lonely piece of a fish triangle in a lonely, floppy corn tortilla. No cabbage. No condiments. Just a SAD piece of "Baja" fish for $17. The one star is because I couldn't vote zero. And if I had to give ONE redeeming factor, it would be their delicious guacamole. I'll give them that. Wish these were more options in our town! Luckily- the delivery services are starting to offer more

I've been to Mexicali 4 times so far. The good news: ambiance is great, staff is always attentive,…read moreseating/dining area always clean, restrooms clean. Ceviche tastes fresh, guacamole is fresh, salsa is pretty good (I like a watery salsa), chips pretty good, mixed drinks (Paloma and margaritas) are good enough, chicken tortilla soup is filling. None of this is so good that I would recommend driving 15 minutes + out of your way for, but decent enough. The downside: most of the food is lackluster. Tamales: dry (thank God for the watery salsa); rice and beans: dry, with beans slightly on the flavorless and burnt side; the burritos: vegetables are fresh, but meat always tastes dry (chicken) or slightly flavorless (beef), (thankfully most burritos served with a cheese sauce as well, but the lettuce and tomatoes that are served with it are always cheap and flavorless); enchiladas: one-note, the salty sauce and cheese covers up other flavors ( if there even are any); tacos: forgettable and one-note in flavor (needed guacamole, salsa and hot sauce to provide any depth of flavor); street corn: a complete joke, and covered with a mayonnaise-like condiment containing Sazon. For entertainment, order the street corn! Ask them to split it in two so that it can be for two people. Depending on who the chef or waitress is this could turn into an interesting conversation (about whether corn can be split in two vertically, seriously- the waitress left our table and returned asking if we meant split a cob of corn vertically or horizontally). She then stared in wonderment at us when i said "we just want 2 portions"; i felt like i was making an Abott and Costello bit, when she replied "sooooo, two orders split in half or what do you mean?". I mean one ear of corn cut in half so one person can have one half and another person can have one half. She nodded in amazement, saying that it would be really hard to cut an ear of corn in half but maybe if the chef has a good knife, maybe this amazing half corn could happen. Then it arrives, yes split horizontally in two, she looked very proud. Now, what's supposed to make street corn street corn is that it's grilled and seasoned, then covered in a Mexican crema and cotija cheese topping with lime and onions. Mexicali boils their corn in unsalted water, doesn't usually cut it in half or season it afterwards, leaves the corn probably for the whole shift so that each of the kernels gets really shriveled and dry like an old raisin, then coats it with mayonnaise and sprinkles Sazon on it. It's an entertaining experience, if nothing else. Definitely have an adult beverage- at least those will have flavor and hopefully make the whole experience fun/worthwhile!

She remembered everyone's orders (without writing anything down) except my daughter's (ordered a cheese quesadilla & got grilled cheese). I didn't say anything because it was a 50/50 of her eating it anyway. We got the baby chimichangas for an app & they were pretty good! My husband enjoyed his enchilada meal and I loved my crispy chicken salad. The avocado on my salad was fresh & abundant & the fresh bacon was a nice addition, too. The portions were large and I left full. There were 7 of us eating and it seems they brought food out as it was made which meant no one's meal got cold. We would rather be served that way anyway. The only complaint was at the end of the meal, we declined dessert & asked for the check but the waitress disappeared. We didn't get the check for a long time, which would have been fine if the table was only adults. But we had two kids who were turning into pumpkins. Overall, I'd definitely go back and maybe try an alcoholic drink.
