The first thing you'll notice when you walk inside is the Día de (los) Muertos (Day of the Dead) artwork pretty much everywhere on the walls. They have two indoor dining rooms and a covered outdoors dining area, where we had our lunch on a beautiful summer day. Our server Moises was polite and friendly and started us off with a big portion of complimentary ships and salsa. The chips were fresh and still warm and the mildly spiced salsa was excellent. Our lunch was a TACO SALAD ($14) described on the menu as "Grilled chicken, mixed greens, fire roasted corn, Pico de Gallo, cilantro vinaigrette, queso fresco, and tortilla strips". It was served in one of those ubiquitous fried tortilla shells which I would have declined had I known it. I passed on the vinaigrette in favor of that great salsa for my dressing, and declined the queso, and tortilla strips. The grilled chicken was absolutely fantastic. It was pounded so thin, it had ended up being about the same size as the bowl it was served in. And whatever they used to season it was wonderful! Under that blanket of chicken were fresh greens, and a few sprinkles of corn and Pico. Adding their salsa as a dressing made it a winner of a meal. My wife ordered their CHICKEN QUESADILLA ($14). The four big wedges had a generous portion of grilled chicken and cheese, topped with sour cream, queso fresco, and Pico de Gallo. I sampled a forkful and loved the flavor and noticed a pretty generous layer of cheese in with the chicken. My club soda with two lemon wedges was $3.
