Staying at a hotel across the street from the Auburn mall. I saw that there was a taco place in there that had great reviews. I took a walk over there and I can gladly say I was not disappointed. I had to have a really good look at the menu because there was so many options. I ended up getting two Al pastor tacos, one chorizo, taco, and a side order of the fried plantain. Or sweet plantain as they called it. The order came up fairly quickly and I Dug and. They were delicious and I would go back there again if I was ever in the area. It's a mall food court. You don't go there for ambience, you go there because the food is delicious. read more

I ordered 3 tacos and chips with queso dip. The queso dip was so the consistency of soup even when it cooled down. Wouldn't even cling to the chip I dipped in it. Then I found a long human hair in one of the tacos. read more

My first impression was they have a very big menu! There were so many options and they have so many pictures of their food posted. It was so hard to choose what to get so I decided to stick with something basic (I was so overwhelmed). Knowing that this is a food court restaurant, I already did not expect this too be great but I was hungry and the photos they posted look good to me at the moment. These enchiladas were OK. The tortilla was a bit tough and stale and not enough filling. The sauce didn't have enough flavor but overall it came together if you mixed it the toppings. The beans and rice were rice and beans as you'd expect. I think the best part of the meal was the beans. Overall this was not satisfying but it's what you'd expect from a mall food court. read more

Tacos Mexico - Enchiladas Green with Rice and Beans - Tacos Near Me - Auburn, Massachusetts

Hours claim to be open until 6pm Sundays. I approached the counter with my daughter and her friend at 5:35pm to order and was told they are closed. Disappointing read more

Took like 15 minutes to take my food out and then it was really flavorless and greasy and was under cooked cause what is that and the mango drink was really nasty to do better read more

Who is leaving 5? Star reviews. This place is joke. Zero flavor and overpriced. Better Mexican in the frozen food aisle at Walmart

Ordered a chicken burrito and a pork gordita. I wouldn't get the gordita again but the burrito was Great

Good food and great service. The food isn't perfect, but for a mall food court, it's great. The employees are very kind.

It's very hard to find decent Mexican in MA, but this one is worth trying. I got the Barbacoa flautas and they were flavorful, tender and Extra crunchy! So delicious! read more

Yeah,... no.. I'm sorry but everything about this place sucks.. all the people leaving good reviews have obviously never eaten quality tacos or Mexican fare. All I can guess is they've only eaten at Taco Bell. There's a place in Worcester (I won't name names coz I'm not a d bag like that) near kelly square that blows this place away. read more

Do not eat here!!! The food tastes like shit, and they treat customers like shit!!! Rude and disrespectful, and the food is trash!!! And to top it all off, the food is waaay overpriced!!! Trust me, do not waste your money here!!! Go to Taqueria del Pueblo in Worcester!!! Better food, authentic, fresh, and way better customer service!!! read more

Authentic home made Mexican flavored food. They are available for catering as well and delicious patines. Highly recommend.

Went to the Auburn Mall and was surprised to see this place. Being the typical Mexican I am, I had to get something. I ordered a carnitas quesadilla (decent) and green enchiladas. Not only are the enchiladas frozen but they gave me soggy taquitos (flautas) with very little sauce. Enchiladas are supposed to be smothered in sauce and soft not soggy with crunchy ends. They didn't even warm the tortillas before making and freezing so they broke. The order was "to go" but they didn't give me any side salsas or straws. I had to go back for them and they only gave me one tiny salsa. Oh, and none of their complimentary chips either. The enchiladas are inedible so I won't be going back. I'll keep looking for decent local Mexican; fingers crossed! read more

Tacos Mexico - Nasty - Tacos Near Me - Auburn, Massachusetts

I went to the Auburn Mall for the first time in about a year. While walking around to see what was new, I walked by this food booth. I looked at the menu and saw one of my favorite tacos. It was the beef tongue. I mentioned this to the person and he gave me a taste of it. It was awesome. The first time I had one of these was back in 1977 in Tijuana. I ended up getting three soft tacos. The tongue, a spicy chicken and a Mexican chorizo. A little cheese, lettuce, fresh Pico and their very hot sauce. Let me tell you, I was a very happy man when I was finished eating them. If I didn't have to be somewhere soon, I probably would have had three more. I will definitely go there again during my next visit to the Auburn Mall. read more

I have been to the original location in the Greendale Mall in Worcester many times and was happy when I heard this location was opening. I was a little concerned about it meeting the quality of the original. I didn't need to be. Everything I just had was excellent. Flavor and quality were spot on. The staff wasn't quite as friendly as I expected but hey, everyone has a bad day here or there and maybe today was it for this staff. Long story short, 100% recommend this restaurant. It is the freshest food you will probably ever see in a mall food court and the flavors are out of this world. read more

Amazing quality food . Better than the one in greendale mall. Everyone who goes there complains about a rude young lady and I think I know who they're talking about because I had a bad experience too . But besides that, most of the staff is nice and makes good quality food . read more

Waited over twenty minutes without being spoken to, addressed, or apologized to about the wait, and the woman working was extremely rude. I work within the mall and this woman just completely eliminated one of the three places I could eat with her attitude alone. She was wearing headphones the entire time and not once made eye contact. I had eaten at this place before in another location and was very excited about a new spot. Now that has been ruined entirely for me because of awful service from a rude person with an attitude. read more

Barbacoa tacos are to die for...best around love the carne asada and spicy chicken as well on tacos or quesadillas can't get better Mexican food anywhere around. read more

Food was just ok for a mall location but they call themselves Mexico taco and they don't really have your customary taco

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! We needed something to eat quickly before we went to an event at the DCU center. I headed to Tacos Mexico because I wasn't feeling the Chinese place across the way and subway was closed. I ordered two tacos for my boyfriends son, and I got beef enchiladas with the green sauce, when those were ready the woman topped them with lettuce, guacamole, cheese, pico and sour cream. Prices were very reasonable and my enchiladas came with a side of rice and beans. Everything was great and the girl helping me was so sweet. Def recommend! read more

So I had next to no expectations for this place considering its mall food but I was actually very impressed. The staff was wicked nice and the tortillas are freshly made. Need I say more? Usually small Mexican spots like this use all of the right ingredients but the meat is bland. Not here. The steak tacos were full of flavor and the beef tacos dorado were great. I recommend getting everything on both of them. The hot sauce is amazing and will actually leave a burn in your mouth. This is coming from someone who has a whole shelf in the door of my fridge full of hot sauces. Haha. Is this the best/most authentic Mexican place I've been to? No. Even with that being said it still blows the rest of the food court out of the water. read more

For a mall food court locale, Tacos Mexico is excellent. Friendly, delicious, and quick. Can't go wrong with that.

This is one of the best mexican food around auburn and may be the whole state of MA. They have a huge smile when they greet customers. Ask for this guy Jose. He makes a kick ass burrito. read more

Orders the hard tacos very very very good and authentic. Give it a shot. There is a place in the greendale mall heard good things also. Two thumbs up! read more

Great steak and chicken tacos. Fantastic chicken tamale. Rice was yummy and beans were perfect. Hidden gem.

Tacos Mexico is the most auténtico, finger licken' good, Mexican-style restaurant of all time. After eating there I swear you will wet yourself! The food is fresh, flavorful. The irony is that this place is located in the Auburn mall of all places. You must give Tacos Mexico a try. read more

A hidden gem! Great food, fresh ingredients, staff took extra timbre to make the presentation beautiful. And low prices!

The tacos here are amazing! Customer service, not so much. The young woman who works here is very rude. They are often "out" of ingredients when they don't feel like preparing it. The fish tacos are excellent when they actually have fish, and worth it if you are willing to tolerate the staff read more

The staff are all very unprofessional! You're not greeted, you're ignored when you walk up to the counter no one says hello or smiles to acknowledge you're there and the worst part of it all is waiting to be served for 20 minutes and nothing. I walked down to the register and told the girl I was ready to order and all she could say is you have to go to the back of the line to order and I said no I was at the front of the line and walked up so you can take my order, but no one said hello, or apologized for the wait. They're so rude, they see you standing there waiting to spend your hard earn money in their restaurant and could care less. I understand demographically they're are only a hand full of restaurants in the mall so they're not concerned about quantity over quality but cmon, that is not how a business is supposed to be ran. Where is management?!?! Why is this NEW place ran so poorly?! I am so disgusted. read more
