    Mini Flautas
    Lina L.

My friends and I came on a Saturday night, and we shared the nachos, mini flautas, and churros. I also ordered a horchata, which came in a HUGE cup. It was worth the price, although I wish I had the stomach to finish it. The flavor was fine, not the most impressive one I have had, but also not disappointing. The nachos were not bad. It came with a heap of ingredients, although there was too much sour cream that drenched the chips fast. The churros were alright. I did not really like the filling inside, but the accompanying sauce was light and not too sweet. The mini flautas were also okay. They were slightly too crispy for my liking and would have been less dry if they had more than just chicken inside. Service was fast as they were quite attentive despite being busy. Overall, I wish I had the stomach room to eat more, but the prices are fair for the quality and quantity you get.

Extremely underwhelming and dissatisfied. Definitely not a place for authentic Mexican food. There is no flavor! 3 tacos - 4/10 I got the bean and cheese, chorizo, and barbacoa taco. They do not come with toppings by the way, not even cheese! They charged me outrageous prices for toppings!!! I literally paid an extra $3 PER taco for toppings !!! Seriously?? I understand to be charged for guac but shouldn't the standard cheese, lettuce and pico come with the taco??? Ridiculously overpriced and not even worth it. The meat itself was ok, the chicharrón was crunchy but super small pieces. Barbacoa had no flavor. I couldn't even find my beans. Torta - 5/10 Please this looks like a subway sandwich. Why does it look like the most American deli sandwich I ever seen? The bread was tough and not even toasted, the abnormally large slice of tomato? This is bad. Chicken Mole Plate - 7/10 Sauce was on point. The chick underneath was a bit dry, but mixing it w the sauce did the trick. The beans were a little too wet for me. Chicken Nachos - 7/10 Your standard chicken tacos, nothing special. A food safety choice if you are unsure about what to eat. California Burrito - 8/10 The best out of everything we had here, nice and thick burrito. The steak inside was ok, a little tough. But overall the burrito was up to expectations! Al thought the food was not what we expected, El Patron is a place for friends and family gatherings. The atmosphere and vibes here are 10/10 for sure! Lovely decorations and great music. Servers were amazing and super friendly. This place is a good spot to hang out and grab a snack for sure , but for authentic Mexican food this is not the spot.

I ordered a burrito for delivery and found a very long black hair strand in my food... For avoidance of doubt, I am blonde. Completely disgusted, my partner and I threw out the entirety of the order. Completely unsanitary.

The food from here never fails!! it's great seasoning and service. I've been here with family many times. As of recently I've ordered their El Patron Burrito, Their Chicken Torta, and their beef empanada and they were all so savory and delicious! The place does get packed o. the weekend, but definitely worth it since the interior design gives the ambiance of the restaurant a truly authentic vibe.

El patron is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Worcester for the trifecta of: -Generous servings at a reasonable price -Incredibly fast service with option to sit indoor or outdoor -Ice-cold Mexican lagers on draft One overlooked aspect of this restaurant is its location. It is within walking distance to the Canal District shops, Polar Park, DCU Center, and Palladium so this is definitely a place to consider for grabbing an awesome meal prior to an event downtown. BTW their margs are phenomenal. We went with the house classic though when looking around the restaurant many people opted for the coronarita - will definitely have to check that out next time!

Food: the nachos were okay, I felt like the guacamole was sitting for a couple hours before topping it. The fried bean tasted like it was slightly burnt, and then they got mixed up with new batch. Overall, it was just not fresh. The rice platter was all right. I felt like the chicken and steak were on the thinner side and it just had too much seasoning to the point where the steak was on the saltier side yet still tender, the chicken was also over seasoned. Their chips and salsa was just too watery for me and I could barely have a sauce Stay on the chip. Service: Andrew was great for serving us that day, he made we got taken care. The owner eddy was attentive as well in making sure we had a seat despite being busy. Ambiance: we went on Cinco de Mayo, so there was a lot of people during that day, which made the volume so loud that you couldn't necessarily hear yourself. It's definitely a crowd for families or colleges to enjoy something inexpensive and support family owned. Honestly, it was a bit too loud for me, and where we were sitting a lot of traffic was happening so it hard to enjoy a meal and chat. Accommodation: they have outdoor patio, which is really nice, but it was raining so couldn't really get the chance to enjoy. It's near the Green Street area. There's plenty of space to enjoy other parts of the area.

This queso was really good so we're the nachos. The guac was average but still good. Marg was wonderful and the tacos were very yummy! Service was kind and fast. Chimichanga was huge!!!

Definitely a hot spot as it was very busy when we arrived and had over a half hour wait! They don't take reservations which was a bummer because we had four adults and three kids and where out of town. They seemed to be a little under staffed as the servers where running around like crazy and the service was slow. The margaritas where just ok but they seemed to be batch made so we couldn't taste any liquor in them. Which in my tasting I am not a fan of that it was more like a sweet juice. The food on the other hand was great had good flavors and portion sizes was on point!! I was so stuffed at the end of my meal I told my husband I shouldn't have eaten all of it. The decor was cute and I would try this place again if I was in the area. Oh the parking was rough as you have to pay for parking on the street which was a bummer.

Many choices I got two separate types of tacos very good

Brought a couple of friends from out of town due to the gluten free options for my friend and I really wanted a good margarita. The ambiance was great! My house margarita was delicious ( wished it had been served in a margarita glass instead of a regular glass - but it was still good). This is where it stops. The food was terrible, bland, and not authentic mexican. I expected so much more from this place. My enchiladas seemed like they were made from a rotisserie chicken, heated in the microwave, and splashed with some sort of boring sauce with no flavor. I had to ask for refried beans on the side and they were nothing to write home about. Guacamole was blah... Stick with Cancun's in Grafton if you want authentic Mexican. This place was way overpriced also. The kind of meal you don't want to pay for or even eat... Might be good for a margarita, but I'd even be weary if wasting my $$ on apps. Our guac and chips were nothing special. I make better guac at home. Moe's has better chips...

I was greeted and seated immediately. I went with my two-year-old daughter, and the waitresses were very accommodating. They asked if I wanted a highchair, which I did not need because she likes to sit with me. However, they also offered a secondary option of a little booster seat that goes on top of the booth, which she enjoyed. When bringing out the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, they made sure to bring me a mild option (just red sauce) and a separate salsa with all the fixings (more spicy). I had a strawberry margarita, and although it wasn't the best strawberry margarita I've ever had, it was still tasty and enjoyable. For children under 12, the kids' meals are only $6.50. They all come with rice and beans, which I thought was a great value. My daughter got one of the kids' meals, the chicken fingers she didn't seem to enjoy the chicken, but I tasted them myself, and they tasted more along the lines of chicken nuggets which is okay . I thought they were pretty decent, but not what I expected! I ordered the bacon shrimp tacos, which in my eyes were five star. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors with the garlic shrimp and the side cilantro sauce. They also come with rice and beans on the side. I will always recommend and come back. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. I love all of the decor, as well as the mirror for you to take a selfie in with the name of the restaurant in neon lights . The bar is very visually appealing

They also have happy hour specials (4pm to7pm) and Taco Tuesday ($20 AYCE in a 60 minute time frame). The place has a modern dining atmosphere with tables & booth seating and seating up at tte full service bar with flatscreen TV. The background music is very loud. I stopped by Mexitown for a late evening dinner, just after 9pm when on-street parking becomes free. The place wasn't too busy on a Thursday night and I was able to seat myself at an open table. There are QR codes at each table to scan for menu. The server brought out a glass of ice water and I placed my order for the Tacos (Chicken) Al Pastor ($20 plus tax) with rice & beans, which was served in 10 minutes. The 3 soft shell corn tortillas were filled with tender grilled marinated strips of pastor chicken & diced pinapple, pico de gallo & sour cream on the side. The Mexican rice was very soft with traces of peas and green beans. The beans had a salty flavor. After I was done, I requested the check which was $21.40 with tax and before tip. Overall, the tacos were pretty good tasting, but also having lettuce & cheese on the tacos would've been great. If I was hungry, I would've ordered the churros rellenos for dessert. I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and I'm pretty sure they didn't bring it out on a plate--they brought it out on a tectonic plate. The sizzle was so loud I had to use hand signals to communicate with my date for the first three minutes. I felt like a celebrity entering a press conference, except instead of camera flashes, I was being blinded by delicious, onion-scented steam. The fajitas are phenomenal. The meat was so tender I'm convinced the chef sings it lullabies before it hits the grill. The Margarita Situation Then, let's talk about the Margaritas. I don't know what kind of structural engineering goes into these things, but they absolutely rock. Size: Somewhere between "Large" and "Fishbowl." Potency: One sip and I forgot my middle name; two sips and I was ready to audition for a Mariachi band. Taste: Perfectly balanced. Not that neon-green syrup you find at the grocery store, but the real deal. The Verdict By the time I finished, I was 40% salsa and 60% fajita by body weight. If you see someone rolling down Lincoln Street like a human burrito later tonight, mind your business--that's just me living my best life. Pro Tip: Wear your "eating pants" (the ones with the elastic waistband). You're going to need the extra room.
