The shrimp they used was tasty and wholesome. Fish wasn't bad, the beef tongue had lots of flavor too. Only downfall to the tacos here was I thought the tortilla wasn't as moist as I liked. Still tasty though. Huge plus to Betos is they have shrimp and fish compared to Taco Caliente (another local spot). And they also open on Sunday. Location is across the street from Ha Tien Asian market. Also parking is available on the side. Cheers and enjoy.

I had a trio of tacos: birria, carnitas, and chicken, folded into corn tortillas, laden with onion and cilantro. Very tasty, especially the birria and carnitas. My wife had the no-meat veggie burrito and like it though she added a bit of salsa to it (needed muy heat). The ambiance and vibe was nice, but the food was not anything special for me. Although the guac flight was a cool concept, the house guac that was the main part of the dish was not very flavorful and lacked salt. The chips seemed fried that morning as they were a bit stale and saltless also. Nachos were a good portion size, but consisted of mainly lettuce with other toppings buried underneath. The many tacos options were fun to pick from, the chorizo and pork belly were a hit at our table. However, the carnitas, barbacoa, and carne asada tacos all lacked flavor and consisted of dry meat. Overall, for our group and myself this spot was 3 stars due to its ambiance, attentive service and solid food.

The Chipotle Shrimp tacos were a special they were having. They were okay, but wouldn't order it again. I think I didn't like the cheese sauce with the shrimp. Everyone is different. The rice and beans were very good and the Flautas were good. We weren't too impressed with the Chicken Empanada. Although we didn't have drinks, I noticed they have a nice bar and many patrons were ordering a variety of drinks. She remembered everyone's orders (without writing anything down) except my daughter's (ordered a cheese quesadilla & got grilled cheese). I didn't say anything because it was a 50/50 of her eating it anyway. We got the baby chimichangas for an app & they were pretty good! My husband enjoyed his enchilada meal and I loved my crispy chicken salad. The avocado on my salad was fresh & abundant & the fresh bacon was a nice addition, too. The portions were large and I left full. There were 7 of us eating and it seems they brought food out as it was made which meant no one's meal got cold. We would rather be served that way anyway. The only complaint was at the end of the meal, we declined dessert & asked for the check but the waitress disappeared. We didn't get the check for a long time, which would have been fine if the table was only adults. But we had two kids who were turning into pumpkins. Overall, I'd definitely go back and maybe try an alcoholic drink.
