The best pupusas in town. You got to try them. Plus they're only two dollars each. You can't beat that

I swear I blinked and the food we had just ordered was right in front of us. My quesadilla tasted great, especially with the guacamole. Chimichanga was also delicious, filled with flavor.

I was greeted and seated immediately. I went with my two-year-old daughter, and the waitresses were very accommodating. They asked if I wanted a highchair, which I did not need because she likes to sit with me. However, they also offered a secondary option of a little booster seat that goes on top of the booth, which she enjoyed. When bringing out the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa, they made sure to bring me a mild option (just red sauce) and a separate salsa with all the fixings (more spicy). I had a strawberry margarita, and although it wasn't the best strawberry margarita I've ever had, it was still tasty and enjoyable. For children under 12, the kids' meals are only $6.50. They all come with rice and beans, which I thought was a great value. My daughter got one of the kids' meals, the chicken fingers she didn't seem to enjoy the chicken, but I tasted them myself, and they tasted more along the lines of chicken nuggets which is okay . I thought they were pretty decent, but not what I expected! I ordered the bacon shrimp tacos, which in my eyes were five star. I really enjoyed the combination of flavors with the garlic shrimp and the side cilantro sauce. They also come with rice and beans on the side. I will always recommend and come back. The atmosphere is definitely a vibe. I love all of the decor, as well as the mirror for you to take a selfie in with the name of the restaurant in neon lights . The bar is very visually appealing

They also have happy hour specials (4pm to7pm) and Taco Tuesday ($20 AYCE in a 60 minute time frame). The place has a modern dining atmosphere with tables & booth seating and seating up at tte full service bar with flatscreen TV. The background music is very loud. I stopped by Mexitown for a late evening dinner, just after 9pm when on-street parking becomes free. The place wasn't too busy on a Thursday night and I was able to seat myself at an open table. There are QR codes at each table to scan for menu. The server brought out a glass of ice water and I placed my order for the Tacos (Chicken) Al Pastor ($20 plus tax) with rice & beans, which was served in 10 minutes. The 3 soft shell corn tortillas were filled with tender grilled marinated strips of pastor chicken & diced pinapple, pico de gallo & sour cream on the side. The Mexican rice was very soft with traces of peas and green beans. The beans had a salty flavor. After I was done, I requested the check which was $21.40 with tax and before tip. Overall, the tacos were pretty good tasting, but also having lettuce & cheese on the tacos would've been great. If I was hungry, I would've ordered the churros rellenos for dessert. The service here was adequate with one server taking care of three tables. I would give this place another visit to try out other food on the menu like cerviche, enchiladas, and fajitas.

I know that avocado is expensive, but the guacamole was $18.95 and took almost 45 minutes. There were 8 people in the entire place. We waited forever for our second drink because one of the other parties ordered a drink they couldn't find the PARTS FOR! Sounds a little crazy. Ended up going to ruby doos across the street. 15/10 and half the price.

I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and I'm pretty sure they didn't bring it out on a plate--they brought it out on a tectonic plate. The sizzle was so loud I had to use hand signals to communicate with my date for the first three minutes. I felt like a celebrity entering a press conference, except instead of camera flashes, I was being blinded by delicious, onion-scented steam. The fajitas are phenomenal. The meat was so tender I'm convinced the chef sings it lullabies before it hits the grill. The Margarita Situation Then, let's talk about the Margaritas. I don't know what kind of structural engineering goes into these things, but they absolutely rock. Size: Somewhere between "Large" and "Fishbowl." Potency: One sip and I forgot my middle name; two sips and I was ready to audition for a Mariachi band. Taste: Perfectly balanced. Not that neon-green syrup you find at the grocery store, but the real deal. The Verdict By the time I finished, I was 40% salsa and 60% fajita by body weight. If you see someone rolling down Lincoln Street like a human burrito later tonight, mind your business--that's just me living my best life. Pro Tip: Wear your "eating pants" (the ones with the elastic waistband). You're going to need the extra room.
