Carne Asada skirt steak with rice and beans.
Jeremy E.

The food was outstanding! I got the carne asada skirt steak, broiled to perfection. It was packed full of flavor and tender. Even the beans were soo smooth and delicious. The service was great, the waiter was on top of things. The ambiance had a great authentic, Mexican vibe to it with a huge tequila selection. Definitely shall return...

Food was delicious, better than most Mexican places. Drinks were strong and tasty, chips and salsa were the best. Service was fast and efficient. The flan was very tasty. It was handicapped accessible. It was quite quaint inside.

This is my absolute favorite local restaurant. While the restaurant is on the smaller side for seating, it has a wonderful ambience. It's very welcoming, the food is always excellent and the staff is great. I don't eat very often, but takeout is equally as consistent. The food is always delicious, hot and the portions are great. I absolutely love Mexican food and they have some of the best I've had. The staff is always friendly and when I order for takeout they always tell me to drive safe which I've never had anyone else say to me when I order food and it's just a nice added caring touch. I cannot recommend their food enough. The quesadillas, taquitos, fajitas, burritos, taco salad and so much more are delicious!!

"My grandma she can make a soup With a little a this 'n that…read moreBut with grandma cookin no need to worry! Just a little a this 'n that" (Pete Seeger) My final review of 2022 will describe the worst customer service we encountered all year. We had an errand to run in Sturbridge and figured we'd include a lunch stop in town. The Yelp app brought us to Soup to Nuts. #1) I love soup and #2) it's located inside the Sturbridge Marketplace, so we figured we'd do some shopping and browsing too. When we approached Soup to Nuts we saw a sign that said they opened at 11:00. The front door had another sign that said they opened at 12:00. Since the door was locked, and it was about 11:30, we figured we'd check out the Sturbridge Flea Market and come back. At 12:02 their front door was unlocked, and the sign announcing the 12:00 opening was gone. As we entered the restaurant, we were "greeted" by four words spoken (or more accurately snarled) in a very gruff and rude manner - "we're not open yet". Tone of voice matters, and I will look you straight in the eye and put my hand on a stack of bibles and tell you his tone was beligerant and angry (to the point of aggressive). It was beyond rude. It was shocking. So we turned around, left and never came back. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

This was our second visit to this establishment, I came back specifically for the corn chowder…read morebecause it's so good. I will say that on our first visit we thought the owner was initially a bit gruff as others had mentioned but we quickly realized that's not the case and he is an incredibly gracious host. We've had both the corn chowder and sandwiches here and they are delicious! Keep in mind with some reviews that people are the problem and not the establishment.

The restaurant itself is very visually appealing. Clean and very nice bar. However, expected it to be very loud because of the tile floors. A lot of echo! For appetizers, we had sushi rolls which were average at best. Definitely something missing on the presentation. Also scallion pancakes watch it were average at best. This certainly could be improved on. The main course, however, was extremely hot coming out, which was appreciated. Also, the plates that came out were warm, which is important when it's February in New England. This was a big thumbs up for me. Definitely will go back and revisit some of the selections in the future. They do have an extensive menu of Asian food as well as sushi/sashimi.

I had read reviews before going so at that point I had not tried the chicken but I had gotten beef fried rice and beef and broccoli I found it to be significantly overcooked. The broccoli was mush and the rice was also significantly overcooked. The food lacked flour and the service was subpar at best. I have friends that love this restaurant, so I did try it again and had the same experience. My mother had gone here with one of her friends and said it was really great and wanted to go again so we went for lunch. The service was terrible. The waitress only came to our table wants to take the order and then to drop the food off. I had to go find someone to pay the bill. And I could not even eat my food this time had tried chicken. I got the L10 lunch special. I tried a few pieces and it tasted so undercooked that I ended up just leaving the rest of my food. I also got violently sick within two hours of getting home. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I also think it's important after giving a place numerous tries to share my experience. And I feel that not only is the food either under or overcooked but the service leaves me not wanting to return. The two thing I will give Asia gourmet a star for is their ambience and drinks. It is a beautiful restaurant I just wish the food and service matched.

You can tell they're incredibly passionate about their food, and it shows in the taste. I had a veggie burger (which was made in-house), and it was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. We were on a road trip and in need of a place to stop for lunch. I pulled out my trusty Yelp app…read moreand came across Fina's Kitchen and its excellent reviews. The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. They were great! Fina's Kitchen was a real gem, hidden among an industrial area and catering to the local businesses. It was a great find!
