The food itself is just acceptable, and for the price not great. The atmosphere also still is pretty weak, and the restaurant is small. It's sort of almost like a hole on the wall. On the West Coast, I've eaten at over 30 authentic Japanese restaurants, and for those of you who aren't Japanese restaurant or sushi aficionados... This food is probably fine. He then suggested that, in the future, I should order an appetizer first to see if I liked the food before ordering a meal so that food would not be wasted. I found that response unhelpful and dismissive. A restaurant should be receptive to customer feedback and strive to resolve concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
