Went with a friend. We tried a few different things and had zero complaints. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was nice and clean. Will definitely be going back.

If you are looking for authentic Korean food, look no further. This is a mom and pops place. The minute you step in you can feel their hospitality and value they place on their food. I don't live in this area but my son attends college in this area. I have a huge love for Korean food and have to drive far for it in CT. So I was happy to find them. The place seems small but there is plenty of sitting for a big group. They don't have a bar license at this time. They have a small parking lot but big enough for small group of people. The place was nice and clean and bathrooms were simple but all very clean and neat. We walked in at almost 4pm. An older lady with huge smile welcomed us to the restaurant. It was quiet since it was after lunch and before dinner. We order tokbokki which was super delicious and I love how it included fishcake. We ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and even ordered extra order to go. We tried their delicious Kimchi fried rice and to be honest so far this is my favorite from all the other places I have tried it. We received at least 5-6 sides which was so nice because there were a few things I had never tried. We ate so much and still brought lots of food home. The kind lady was nice enough to offer us a taste of their ginger cinnamon tea (cold) that was super delicious. In fact I am ordering next time I'm in town. I plan to come by and order food to go every time I visit my son.

Life is short. F.......it up! Family, Flavor, Friends. After hearing about this place we decided to try it. Family ran traditional Korean place. We tried the the standard staples. The highlight was the fried mandoo . When you walk in and see that they make out by hand in the table you know you're in for a treat. The jajambong and jajang myun. Each cooked home style and fresh and buttery. With seemed to be the theme of cooking style. I'm more traditional more spice and. Savory. But overall a decent place.

I was recommended Arisu by a tattoo artist in the area and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is cozy with Korean television playing which, in my experience, is a good indicator of a quality Korean restaurant. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and almost all the tables were occupied. The server did a great job attending to all the tables on her own, especially considering how busy it was. The menu has a great variety of food options. I ordered the tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes with fish cakes) appetizer and dolsot bibibamp with beef. The rice cakes were nice and chewy with a flavorful spicy sauce. The bibibamp was nicely balanced between meat, vegetables, and rice and the gochujang was delicious. All the banchan were fresh and the cinnamon tea given at the end of the meal is the cherry on top. I would love to come back and try more of their menu!

We had a party of 6 there for a birthday dinner last night. We were absolutely delighted by our experience! The service was wonderful - friendly, accommodating to a few adjustments requested, and very fast! The food was absolutely delicious, with intricate and delicious depth of flavor. There are so many more dishes we want to try! We had tteoboki, kimchi fried rice, dak bulgogi, stir fried upon with chicken, shrimp fried rice, kimchi jigae, and bibimbap. All were exceptionally tasty! The restaurant was clean and not too busy on a Tuesday night. We didn't feel rushed or crowded. Parking was easy. I had called ahead and they had our table ready for us, and were patient even though I had to call to adjust the timing a few times. They also happily brought out the birthday cake with candles when requested. Overall a fantastic experience! We will be back to try more of their dishes for sure!!!

    The complimentary side, banchan.

Great food with the nicest ladies working there. We got our food and devoured every grain of rice. At the end we were served a cinnamon ginger tea which was super refreshing.

The foods good, much like Korean comfort food style. The staff are friendly. The dining area is brightly lit which always distracts me though. But it is what it is. It's not incredibly fancy but it's clean and comfortable. It's affordable and good for the price.

Either I had really high expectations because of the reviews or got too spoiled by Korean BBQ AYCE, but I thought my experience was okay. That being said, there are a few highlights that helped boost it to the rating I gave it. First, I haven't seen that made side dishes since pre covid! Second, the menu looks expensive at first glance, but I believe the price is justified. I ordered the teppoki, salad, and LA Galbi. The LA Galbi seemed pricey, but it came with some fried veggies, small bowl of rice and steamed egg. They were all great portions too and because I wasn't expecting the egg, I'm surprised I finished it all! For the finisher, I finally got to try the Sujeongkha (waitress said I can try once I finish my current order lol). Turns out, it was Ginger Cinnamon Tea and am told it's good for my health. I personally hate cinnamon, but she was so sweet and gave me a sample, that I drank the one I ordered. I'm not familiar with the area, but when there's more Korean than English spoken/written/playing in a restaurant, it's safe bet that you're in good hands!

The jajameung was awesome. The korean ajama's were the best. My only thing is the banchan was too sweet for my tastes.

Thin dark sauce to complement it. I think of it as a Korean cross between scallion pancake and egg foo yong. Nice texture and chock full of large mussels, scallops, shrimp (gigantic Gulf shrimp as well as baby shrimp), Asian squid, and noodles. This is a nice antidote to what way TOO MANY "Asian" restaurants are like in the greater Boston…read morearea: slick, prettified and exoticized decor, inflated pricing and mediocre, bland and generally dumbed-down tourist food. This place is none of those things---the interior is simple and dare I say, well worn. But that's the whole point, you feel like you're in an authentic immigrant family restaurant, which it appears to be---a very very sweet and kind lady seems to be the only server in this place (we went on a weeknight, so maybe on a Friday/Sat/Sun it's more crowded and there are more staff) and her husband mans the cash register by the door. Old school! Food is solid and authentic, and refreshingly gimmick-free. What you see is what you get. Shockingly, the prices are about the same as in the Korean places in the food court at H-Mart down the road in Burlington...but you get more and better quality food! And they don't appear to have an alcohol license, which is kind of a good thing because they don't try to upsell you with their drink menu, which in Asian restaurants tend to be pretty lousy mass-market water-beers (sometimes just with Asian labels on similar swill) at craft-beer prices anyhow. Bimbibap was quite unique: rice was served on a separate bowl, while the actual main bowl was full of veggies and meat and egg. Very nice contrast to most places' bimbibap being 80% rice and 20% veggies/meat. Came with a small side of miso soup. UPDATE, one week later: Came back to try out the Korean BBQ. For 3 people, we ordered 3 of the BBQ menu items, came out to a reasonable $100 or so before tip since we just had the complimentary toasted brown rice tea (hyeonmi-cha) and ice water. It was just the right amount of food for an evening meal (more voractious eaters would probably want an additional 1-2 dishes) and the lady came to our table to cook the food for us, ensuring that nothing would be overcooked. The short rib was easily the best, followed by the bulgogi, and the squid with pork belly and veggies was pretty good not great (it was interestingly cooked over the open flame on a square of aluminum foil). Everything was perfectly marinated, tender and juicy. Ventilation was good, so our clothes did not reek of roasted meat afterwards---some places have weak fans, this one did not. Service was again impeccable, gracious and speedy...very nice warm vibes, not cold or perfunctory like some places. Will definitely be coming back for more!
