I'm only giving them a five because they had a slight cherry taste to them and this is a personal preference. I don't care for cherry in my pork. Brisket 7 I requested a cut from the point of the brisket and not the flat. I got the flat and it was borderline dry. However the flavor was spectacular. I think it may have just been in the warmer just a little too long. Sausage 3 again the sausage was smoked to perfection. But unfortunately, I could not taste any sausage at all only spice. The sausage needs to be the star of the show and the spice to be a compliment. Brisket mac & cheese- 9 nice size chunks of brisket in a nice creamy mac & cheese fantastic. Beans- 1 I'm sorry but the beans had zero smoke flavor and it kind of tasted like they came right out of the can. A good barbecue place like this I know they can do much much better with their beans. Corn bread - 10 the cornbread came with my meal and it was absolutely perfect. A nice little crust on the outside soft and moist on the inside unbelievably perfectly cooked. This is one absolutely fantastic restaurant and I was very, very impressed with the quality of smoked meat they are producing. This restaurant is employing true Pitt masters who know what the heck they're doing with their pits. It's nice to see a taste of Texas in Connecticut.

My initial thought is if that is for what people order from there if they go in I suspect they will not be disappointed if they go in for actual dining plus these guys go outside the box in terms of the BBQ, food offerings, cooking methods & I'd suspect that the staff would be in same category as mentioned.

My first BBQ at Bark in Plymouth and I can't wait to go back!…read more Celebrating my husband's birthday at a BBQ place was not my first choice, but he loves BBQ and I knew I had to find a restaurant to celebrate him. After mulitple searches and many recommendations we settled on Bark BBQ in Plymouth. I was in contact with one of the owners letting them know that we would be coming for my husbands birthday on a Wednesday and for lunch. I was hoping they would have candles which they did and the communication was very easy. Once we walked in (the restaurant is on Court St in Plymouth) but not near the center. It wasn't hard to find, but I was trying to make it a surprise so I put the closest place that I could find in Maps. I immediately knew the owner. I actually read all about his story from the beginning. I love it when I can support a husband and wife duo who own and operate a small but mighty restaurant together. I will try and not make this so long, but it is cute inside with tavern like table and chairs, a big selection to choose from, and really nice and passionate people. We shared the 3 meats and 3 sides. Now, I don't normally eat BBQ, but let me tell you we both devoured almost everything we ordered (hello leftovers). I personally loved the brisket and fall-off the bone ribs OMG. The cole slaw, potato salad, and baked beans were also delicious. We also washed everything down with one of their Kolsch beers from Mayflower brewery. And, for dessert we shared their banana pudding...probably the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a great BBQ place this IS WORTH THE DRIVE. From the scrumptous food to the nice staff and owners, we absolutely will be back. Only about 40 ish minutes from Quincy but even if you live a bit further, definitely make the trek to Bark BBQ because you won't be disapppointed. Cheers~

It's right off the main road in Plymouth and there's a lot of parking. Inside the place pretty spacious there's a lot on the menu that they offer but if I'm gonna go there, I need to try the ribs and mac & cheese I have to say it was pretty impressed. They have their own barbecue sauce with a few to pick from and the prices are really good if you're in the area you should definitely come out and try this place. It's worth the drive.

There's a cozy seating area with Polish clothing, books and art around to give it life. I walked around ten store for a bit, overwhelmed by all the delights on the shelves. I picked up a few items and went to the register. There, I also picked up my scoop. They serve homemade gelato and sorbet here, and I chose the amarena gelato (cherry). She served it up, added a cute little cookie and then I went outside to sit and eat. The texture of this wasn't quite gelato. But it wasn't quite sorbet, either. It was almost like a sherbert. It was smooth, fruity and a little creamy. The marinated cherry flavor really came through. If I could compare it to something family, it was like a grown up version of the old Flintstone Cherry sherbet Push-Up popsicle. I loved it. And I will get it again next time I come in. Krakow is such a special place, their Polish selection is awesome. It made me want to buy a Polish cookbook to learn how to use all the ingredients I saw! They are such dynamic instructors and the shop is lovingly decorated in all sorts of Knick Knacks from Poland, including a fabulous wall covered in Polka album covers. Meats for home smoking or grilling, such as boar and venison burgers, are also available. Sandwiches are available at the counter. ATMOSPHERE: The shop is small, requiring customers to make a loop around the perimeter of the shop before returning to the check out counter with packages of meats at hand. EXPERIENCE: I was in the area during holiday season and picked up smoked bacon and smoked duck breast. These items greatly enhanced the holiday meals I prepared for family.
