I orders a falafel wrap and it tasted ok but was gummy not crunchy and lots of cumin overpowered the small wrap. Pizza strip was not what I expected, I'm from Ri where they invented them. Usually they're supposed to be tangy more of a paste topping and extra crispy. This was soft not chewy very sweet and tastes nothing like bakery strips. Price was average. read more

I am extremely happy that I was able to find this little piece of heaven while in town! My coworkers and I were able tovisit twice, and both times all 5 of us were extremely satisfied with our experience. A few people note, the bread was fantastic and friendly atmosphere. No one ordered a pizza, but we greatly enjoyed our sandwiches and cookies. Personally, I had the cranberry almond chicken salad and the beef and cheddar which are highly recommended. I have been working in Putnam for several years and I'm shocked I hadn't tried this place until yesterday! My coworkers at the hospital all decided to grab lunch from here after a few of them had went the week prior and said it was delicious! I loved their spin on a turkey BLT with this delicious cranberry sauce. All the veggies were fresh, meat was perfect and flavorful & the sauce was just the perfect amount. My son, who is 9 and can be picky, was reluctant to try it- but once he gave it a go- he absolutely loved the sauce ! And the portions are big enough- that I brought him home a half sandwich from lunch! I can't comment on the service as I didn't pick it up. But I will say the sandwiches were done promptly- the prices did seem on the higher side however, I won't complain since the quality and overall options for food in this area are pretty low! 4/5 stars and I would def go back! read more

Terrible experience!! Went there the other day with my friend and we sat down and no one ever came to offer us a menu or ask for drinks. We waited for 15 minutes and not one person came. Casual little local spot for great pizza that we just happened to stumble into. Slightly overpriced, based on what I'm used to in the tri-state area, but it's okay. It also took about twenty minutes to get our food, which was annoying, because we were in a slight rush. I got a regular square slice with added mozzarella and it was delicious. Broken Crust is definitely appropriate. This is the second time we ordered from here. In my opinion the crust is truly the weakest part of the pizza. The crust to me was Pillsbury or Bobboli at best. Lacking texture flavor and crunch. It reminds me of the crust you would get at the bowling alley in the Webster. The sauce tasted fresh however extremely garlicky, don't get me wrong I'm a garlic lover but it is truly overpowering and for me to complain it must be over the top. There was adequate cheese and toppings. The meatball pizza other than the crust was pretty good. I don't see a value in eating all those carbs for such a disappointing crust. It doesn't feel homemade or taste unique and authentic. :( read more

Finally went here this weekend (Friday and Saturday) We got a meatball parm and Hawaiian pizza and an order of hand cut frites Friday night. Pizza is excellent, the sauce is sweet and the meatballs are phenomenal. Homemade and very well done. The fries were a pleasant surprise, hand cut shoestring! Def recommend. Saturday we tried the the n.e clam chowder and tomato bisque both were great with the left overs from the night before. Look forward to go back when we can sit down and eat there. Staff was super friendly. Fries were delicious. Originally was going to get pizza at another local place but they weren't doing pizza tonight (um, wtf?). The Buffalo chicken pizza and BBQ chicken pizza were a good substitute. Mediterranean wrap was tasty but had mushrooms in it to which I'm allergic. I live in Putnam and drive by this place all the time. I grew up in a Italian house hold so good pizza was a big deal. I was a little skeptical to try it but I will say it was really good. It's a little on the thicker side and heavier ( we just got roasted peppers, onions and sausage) but still good flavor. I want a business to come into Putnam and succeed so badly, I really do. 2 5 star reviews that talk about how it is 'always fresh' when they have been open for 2 days? It's a restaurant, fresh food is implied and those scream fake review to me. Onto my experience... Went opening day, was hoping there would finally be a pizza place that does slices. That wasn't the case so I audibled to the pulled pork sandwich. I grew up in the 90s and distinctly know what Lloyd's pulled pork tastes like, I am so tired of getting cheap quality food in Putnam. I'll give it one more shot in a couple of months and hopefully they will up the quality of their ingredients. Split a large pepperoni pizza with my mom the other day, and was hoping that how busy it was was a sign of how good it was. Unfortunately not. Too much sauce, not enough cheese, and the crust was pretty mediocre given that they named themselves after it. Not the worst pizza I've had, but FAR from the best. Would have expected more from a place that charges $16 for a large pepperoni. Woodstock Grill & Pizza is about five minutes away, if you're driving, and a large pepperoni only costs $12. Their food is extremely pricey, and their foods not very good and always takes a long time to get served. We have been there at least three or four times since they opened and I have not had one good experience ever there. We went there faithfully when it was PJs for breakfast, and it was great. Great experience from start to finish! My fiancé and I live in MA and took a day trip to check out Putnam. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat around 3PM and was so pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. We got a slice of pizza to start which was delicious, then split the Turkey BLT and the steak and cheese. Both sandwiches tied for one of the best we've ever had. Everything tasted really fresh and came out quickly. The staff was so pleasant and the young man working the register was attentive and very personable. Made the experience that much better.
