There's also a lot of outdoor seating, which is such a nice option, especially on a beautiful day. It would be a great spot to catch up with friends, get some work or studying done, or simply relax with a good cup of coffee. Worker was super friendly, but he did need some help since it was busy. I tried the Vienna coffee and really enjoyed it! It had a smooth, rich coffee flavor and was a great choice for something a little different. The presentation was also really nice and added to the overall experience. Overall, this is a great coffee shop if you're looking for a relaxing place with a beautiful interior, plenty of seating, and good coffee. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back to try more drinks and spend more time here!

(+) Ube Latte Mumoo…read moreCafe is a coffee/tea and bakery cafe with ample space inside and out to study/work, relax. Parking is available on the street. The menu is simple and easy to read. There is something on the menu for everyone to enjoy. Drinks: I ordered the ube latte. Really great ube flavor but wished there was more cream/ube flavor. Coffee is strong and can be tasted through the ube cream. Only other ube latte I've had is it Da Vien. I would prefer this ube latte for sure! Service/Ambiance: Very casual and a fun place to be. Lots of places to study and relax. Floor is clean and service was great. Baristas were helpful and you could tell they both enjoy their job. I would recommend mumoo cafe. I want to try their egg tarts and other drinks!

I would say they did a pretty good job listening to the feedback from my experience compared to the others. I came around 3pm on a Thursday and stayed to work for two hours. There were a few tables open despite it being a small place. Booth seating has little cushions. They have wifi which is nice. They had music playing that was not too loud. They have a restroom in the back. This was more of a study/work environment than a chatting and hangout spot in my opinion. Most people here were doing laptop work, but that isn't to say people weren't having chats... but it was definitely not loud and I appreciated that. The service was nice, nothing much to add for that. I got a regular Tokyo fog. Was around $7.50 with tax. I got my drink very quickly, but I did come at a time they did not have many customers. I thought it was a pretty good matcha. It was a good sweetness and the matcha had a nice flavor and wasn't overly strong. It is pretty comparable to other matcha places in the area in my opinion. Their drink selection is nothing special, but it is a good place to get a classic drink if that is your taste. Overall, I would come again on a weekday to get work done, but if I was looking for a fun drink or to sit and chat with a friend I would probably go somewhere else. It's a nice study spot for people who want a lowk environment while also getting that cafe ambiance. I would definitely emphasize that I came on a weekday in the afternoon, and that the ambiance probably changes later in the day when more people come.

There is parking behind the strip of stores, I suggest turning on Fairview to enter the parking lot easily instead of the entrance on Baldwin. Lots of spaces! Getting my order in was quick and got my drink shortly after. I ordered their Matcha Latte with Almond milk at 75% sweetness which I give a 9/10! Super smooth and a perfect shade of green, but I wish it was a teeny bit less sweet. Definitely opt for 50% if you aren't a fan of super sweet drinks! Give this place a try if you are looking for a place to study/meet with friends!

They so keep our bellies full with delicious food. The vibe is casual, no indoor seating but they have a great patio setup. Sometimes they have a movie playing on the TV. I do wish the stools by the counter were a little more comfortable but it isn't really setup to hangout there for hours. In my several times going to Malaya I'll say I've had friendly service. The folks there answer my questions, give suggestions, etc. Now, I find that sometimes there's a bit of a wait or it's a little busier, it takes some time for my order. Nothing insane, but I don't come to independent spots to necessarily get the big box coffee experience. So just note, if you're on a time crunch, and it's busy, there could be a small wait for your order. There's plenty of parking in the lot and neighboring streets. Come give this local spot some love!

They offer also some savory snacks. The cafe was clean. The young lady who received our order, was very nice and friendly. They had an offer to buy two drinks and get the third free. So, we ordered the following; -Mango Strawberry Smoothie 5/5 The tropical flavor of mango mixed with sweet strawberry gave the drink creamy flavor and velvety texture. It was heavenly. - Strawberry Matcha 5/5 The drink was perfectly sweetened and refreshing. Then, we found out that if you buy six items from the bakery, you get the seventh free. The matcha isn't too sweet nor bitter but you do taste apple and cinnamon. A comforting and dessert like drink.
