Nice cute boba spot. Got the passion fruit milk tea but they put so much ice in it so make sure to ask for light ice to get the best out of your drink. Has a few seatings area and quiet enough to study. Store Front is on a busy street so you'll have to park on the side & pay for parking (quarters accepted)

Small inside and it was not that outstanding I went to the korean restaurant right across from here and then came to this place for bubble tea i got taro and my friend got chocolate Which were pretty good, bubble itself was tasteless, (thats why i like kungfu tea for bubble) They offer two sizes small and large Small taro with bubble was $4.19 They used huge ice cube which take alotta space in the cup and drink was not topped off so even smaller quantities But taste was decent

Loved all the drinks we got from Yi's! I appreciate that they were able to handle our large order efficiently despite it being close to closing. We got a mix of milk teas and hot teas. If you are looking for parking, the best lot is the block before by the Italian restaurant which is not metered after 6pm.

Such a cute little mom and pop shop for bubble tea! The owner seemed super nice and you can tell each bubble tea is made with care! I got a jasmine milk tea with bubbles and 30% sweet! Happy they are able to adjust sweetness levels! Went on a Tuesday afternoon and it was super empty! Support small businesses!

BOBA ON THE MAIN LINE? Yes please! Come check out this cute boba shop on Lancaster in Ardmore right near Party Land (the address is incorrect in google maps, it should be east Lancaster not west. Right near Ardmore music hall.) Anyways, the aesthetic is so cute and plant-based. There's 2 big tables and one small table and honestly they need more. I went with 2 friends around 3:30pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. We had to wait a while for our order to be taken because there were only 2 people working there (one was a little boy who was so polite, well-mannered, cute, and helpful.) He helped make drinks and his mom, I presume, made the rolled ice cream which was very popular and looked really good. They have flavors that places in Philly Chinatown don't have! The boba itself was good. The tea was good. I asked for Matcha taro and I don't think they were used to mixed drinks yet, and it wasn't very even. It was still good, though! I'd come back. This is great boba and a great location and a great family-owned and run business. I need to come back to try the rolled ice cream!

Visited here to try bubble tea for the first time. The lady who waited on me was awesome. I told her that I knew next to nil about bubble tea, and she presented me with my options--and there are lots of options! I ended up ordering a creamy and sweet blueberry drink that was excellent. There are also signs on the wall that explain various aspects of the offerings at this business. Because this woman took time to help me, I am now a fan and will return!

When I'm in town I always have to stop by Yi's! The lady is always so sweet and friendly. It was chilly when we bought the boba, and I was tempted to try their hot teas but opted for the Jasmine milk tea. It doesn't say on the menu but was asked if we wanted regular sweet or light. Opted for the light and the sweet lady told us to let her know if the drinks weren't sweet enough.... Well they were perfect! The jasmine tea wasn't too strong and there was a generous portion of boba. I will try one of the hot teas next time I come back!

Yi's Boba is a cute little boba shop just a few minutes away from Bryn Mawr College. There aren't many around so I was a little skeptical about trying it because most boba places that don't have other boba places nearby aren't really that good. But Yi's Boba is not one of those places! Yi's Boba is good! My buddies and I got mango green tea with mango jelly, black milk tea with boba, and Thai tea with boba and they were all GOOD. The shop has cute decor that warms my heart. I definitely recommend to those that go to school in the area and anyone else really!

Finally a solid Bubble Tea place on the Main Line! We always resort to trekking all the way to Chinatown to get quality bubble tea, but now have a great alternative close to home. This is a hole in the wall place on Lancaster. Small business vibe so expect a bit of a wait with limited resources, but it's worth it for sure. The employees are attentive, warm and friendly. Selection of small bites as well as rolled ice cream! There is a small seating area, free WiFi and they accept cards. Really hope this place takes off!

I just got a small jasmine milk tea with boba this time. Yummy chewy boba, great tea, and very kind service!

But…read moresometimes I appreciate a good tea and I especially enjoy being able to have it with bubbles, and when I need to satisfy that fix Kung Fu Tea is the main spot that I go to! The first thing I like about Kung Fu is the variety of beverages that you can get, from traditional teas and fruit-based ones, to regular to frozen milk teas and coffeehouse creations they have it all. And then you can even add even more customization to the option that you choose from. No matter what I always add the boba! But I've had a caramel macchiato latte tea that rivaled the lattes that I've gotten at most coffeehouses, fruit teas with jelly bubbles that BURST of tropical fruits once they hit my mouth, and a sesame matcha milkstrike tea that was as savory as it was sweet! For most bubble tea spaces you're only limited to ordering beverages. But Kung Fu Tea also has a pretty good food menu on top of their drink options. The main attraction is their onigiri rice balls that either come traditional or loaded with things like spam, teriyaki beef, shrimp tempura, and spicy crab. They also have a spicy and crunchy karaage popcorn chicken, and super delicious takoyaki balls.

The upside is that it was inexpensive, which is what drew me there in the first place. My very first time eating there in March 2026. I'll start with the good: the Hong Kong wonton soup, the egg drop soup, & the beef chow fun. I would return for these items. The bad: the duck rolls, the shrimp with lobster sauce. The duck rolls, I took one bite, and that was enough. The duck was dry, it didn't have good flavor, I'm not sure if it was particularly fresh. It tasted like it could be the duck that's about to be shrink. The shrimp in lobster sauce was the worst I've ever had. Absolutely no taste. I do not use condiments and I had to put soy sauce in it. I have hypertension, I do not use soy sauce! I had to use it to choke it down. That was the most expensive dish and almost $17 so no way that was being wasted. And there was barely any shrimp in it. The ugly: The egg roll & crispy fried noodles. The oil must be very old. The egg roll was so dark and soft with oil that the oil was dripping off of it and filling the little wax paper bag. The noodles were also too dark and tasted gross like being fried and old oil. I would never get anything fried from this place ever.

Though we hadn't been there in years, Golden Bowl came to mind. Consensus: we spent a bit more than we usually do, but the food was a couple of notches better. As a point of comparison, we ordered our usual soups: hot & sour and egg-drop wonton. Hot & sour was thick and spicy. (To temper the heat, I cut my serving with spoonfuls of egg-drop.) Wontons were nicely filled and less doughy than our usual take-outs. Two thumbs up for the soup. Mongolian Beef is my husband's favorite. We both agreed that Golden Bowl's version is pretty good. Our other dish, Sizzling Triple Delight, is best eaten in the restaurant. Nothing was sizzling, but the components -- beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables -- were well prepared. Broccoli was al dente and the brown sauce was rich and flavorful. All-in-all, branching out paid off. We'll most assuredly do it again.
