Not only did they come from a recommendation from a family member in the HVAC business, but they were a large cut above, and MANY dollars cheaper than the rest. Not only did they come out to service my A/C at my house (which had a condenser from 1986), even though my house (in Canoga park, ca) is in no way close to their home in Huntington beach, but they did it literally next day. When Robert showed up he was professional, courteous, was great with my dog (though she wouldn't stop barking, but that's an entirely different issue), and provided the most informative service I've had so far. Other companies had come out, but refused to listen to the fact that we just wanted the condenser replaced, not the furnace, not the ducting, and not the windows. They kept pushing up sells on us until we couldn't take it any more. Robert listened to what we wanted and said, absolutely no problem. The install went smoothly, and every step of the way Robert was there to explain to me exactly what they were doing that moment and why. He did so in a manner that mad either easy to understand, and when I had questions he answered them fully. I came away with the feeling that he really wanted me to understand what was being placed in my home and how it worked and would not rest until I was satisfied with his explanations. Not only was the service great, but the pricing was literally at LEAST 2/3 the price of the closest competitors. Paid to install the York unit just to find out that it's not 100% compatible with the indoor unit. Without letting me know, may be they don't even know themselves, they installed a 2-stage outdoor unit to match with my existing single stage air handler. They just made sure it will work but not properly. Couldn't get a hold of Eddie or anyone anymore as I have been trying to contact them since June when the AC is struggling to keep our house less warm when it hits 80s temperature outside. I have spent money to get a couple of other contractor come to our house to figure our the issue. The last contractor was nice to talk to the manufacturers to see if they could do something. This company didn't bother replacing any orrifice as needed. They just did a simple band aid fix to make sure the unit turns on. STAY AWAY from this company if you can. They will ignore you once you make the payment. All those B.S. warranty they'll offer doesn't mean a thing. Even raised the priced on me as they know we are getting. Did a couple of no shows and told me they couldn't come an hour AFTER the agreed appointment time. I should have known better. I should've done research to their company first. He offered to get us a quote which he sent me the next day. I questioned the reliability of the brand he was offering. He admitted that it was a substandard brand and requoted with a more reliable brand. We agreed to move forward with the installation at which time he said we needed to meet him at the supplier to pay for the unit directly. We asked him to just purchase the unit and we would reimburse him but he refused. We reluctantly drove to the supplier to meet him. When we got there we could not find him. I called him and turned out that he texted us an address to the wrong supplier. His response was not apologetic and just laughed. He sent us a different address and eventually found the correct place. Proceeded with the purchase and then looked at the unit we bought. His quote was for a 36000 btu unit and the unit he had them load in his vehicle was a 24000 btu unit. We questioned the difference and hus response was that the smaller unit would work as well as the unit he had quoted. We got into a heated conversation and proceeded back inside to cancel the purchase with the supplier. The unit he quoted us on cost $500 more and refused to make the situation right. The supplier got involved and offered to absorb the $500 difference so we could be a satisfied customer. At that point Victor got really angry because they were willing to do that for us. He demanded that the supplier cancel the transaction and made them give us a refund. What an unbelievable situation.
