We already anticipated need for a new system since every tech that came in last 5 years said it was on its last leg, before it finally died during an extreme heat warning. The installation crew arrived on time, were very respectful of our garage items (helped move bikes to backyard and even used cloths to cover from the sun!), never complained about the working conditions (hot garage and tight garden area for fan unit), and were informative about the process. They also left our property very clean and tidy upon job completion after a single (and very hot) day of installation. As a bonus, I was not expecting the excellent craftsmanship of the lovely stainless platform cover over the new plywood they cut-to-fit for the removal of the old/damaged platform/box deck, and they used duct-board and sealant to finally make the interior of the intake under the unit sealed from all the walls and dust generation that has been blown throughout the home since the 1970s. The manufacture recommended I reach out to an HVAC company instead of a plumber as it's more similar in functionality to a heater. After a call to SANO, they had a tech out same day that was able to diagnose the issue in minutes. They recommended a home water filtration system and anti-scale unit to prevent my municipal water quality from damaging my heating elements (this was the source of failure). They came back a few days latter and repaired the steam shower and swapped my water filtration system and all is working perfectly! I recommended them to my mom when she was quoted an outrageous amount from a competitor, and they redid her entire HVAC system for 20% less than the competitor quote with top-notch work. I need to post pictures later as I've never seen an HVAC company take the care they did at my mom's place. They relined the entire cabinet with heat-protective material and all plumbing and electrical are as clean as I've ever seen. I'm a customer for life!

Kirk was FANTASTIC! Our unit is 20 years old, we have never really had regular maintenance on it. He showed up super early (they asked if that was okay, and YES thank you). Before he arrived they sent a text with his name and photo. I absolutely love this! That extra safety is so important. Kirk looked at our unit and asked some questions. He explained all they do with the "family plan" so we signed up. I am one of those that needs to be reminded of scheduled upkeep so this is perfect. He gave us the estimate before he started and I asked for a very rough estimate of a new unit (having no idea) so we decided to go with repair and hope for the best. The repair wasn't cheap but considering all the work that needed to be done as well as it being an older unit, I feel it was a very fair price. I think we did have the best with Kirk. He was able to repair our unit and give it some much needed TLC for our AC unit and furnace. He even installed our pre-purchased thermostat! Kirk was polite and considerate. He took time to answer all of our questions and ensured us that we could reach out with any questions, I believe him. Service people can often be rushed, there is a lot of work out there, but not Kirk. He didn't waste time either, I felt like he was in and out in no time at all.
