When the repair guy told me there was no warranty on the work because my AC was so old, I knew it was time to stop throwing money at it and replace the whole thing. I started calling around and getting quotes from several HVAC companies. Surprisingly, the pricing was all pretty similar. The big difference was the equipment. A lot of the companies were quoting brands I either hadn't heard of or didn't have much confidence in. Evolution was the only company I spoke with that was using American Standard and really stood behind the quality of the equipment they were installing. That ultimately made the decision for me. The entire process with Evolution was professional and easy. They showed up, got to work, and had the full installation completed in about 5 to 6 hours. I was expecting the house to be without AC most of the day, but they got everything done much faster than I expected. We've had the new system running and love it. The first thing we noticed was how QUIET it is. Our old condenser was so loud that you always knew when it kicked on. With the new one, I sometimes have to actually listen for it to make sure it's running. Replacing an entire AC system is not exactly something anyone gets excited about spending money on, but if I had to do it, I'm glad I went with Evolution. We have a couple of visits left for the HERS inspection (along with Rebel Air staff) and the City inspection. Looking forward to a hopefully smooth closeout to this project. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I hate to leave this review, because everything had initially gone very well with our project. We spent well over $20k to do ductwork, put in a new HVAC system in and add a mini split. The initial visit with Johnny was wonderful and he did a great job explaining the work and provided a competitive quote compared the other estimates we received. He also provided great recommendations on additional registers/vents to balance out our airflow. Those were installed, but instead of the additional vent he originally suggested in our west-facing living room, one was added in the kitchen, making the kitchen very cold but the living room very warm. The work took longer than the original 5 days planned (about 7-8 days), but they did a great job cleaning up after. This was in March 2026. It is now July 2026. During the initial estimate, Johnny had indicated that they were happy to come by to adjust dampers as needed, and Vincent was very helpful with that although advised that we need to rotate the TDuct feeding into the kitchen/living room to better balance the airflow. The work wasn't done correctly to begin with, but we are ok with that solution if it helps the situation. When the HERS inspectors came to help finalize the City permit in April, they noted that none of the caulking was done. This morning we had an appointment from 8-10am to do the caulking and rotate the TDuct that I am taking time off of work to do. I called in past 9am to get a status update but I'm told a representative (Edwin) knocked and called but left when no one answered. I was in the back doing a bit of yardwork with my phone on me - several calls, including spam came in, but no voicemails. No videos from our doorbell or cameras out front show anyone coming to the door or up the walkway. I have texted Andrea to get a status update or reschedule and am waiting to hear back. Given that the initial interaction was positive, I hope that this is a fluke and a dropped ball with the miscommunication this morning and not a lack of interest on Rebel Air's part since they have already been fully paid. I hope to finalize this project soon and finish the permit with the City.

My mom is out of town and was absolutely sure the A/C was "kaput." I was already researching the costs of replacing whole house A/C and trying not to panic. A neighbor gave my grandma the number for Haven A/C and she called herself. Donna was so sweet to her and patiently walked her through turning her thermostat off and on and replacing the batteries. And it worked! The thermostat just needed a new battery! Donna saved the day, and possibly even my grandmother's life, it gets hot and she needs that A/C working. We didn't need a paid service today, but we're customers for life now. That was real customer service. Thank you Donna!

The unit is amazing, and the level of service they provided was exceptional. The team was professional, gave us a great price, and also serviced our other AC while they were here. We knew it was about time to replace the upstairs unit too, but the timing just wasn't right. Fast forward to yesterday: the upstairs AC stopped blowing cold. I spent a rough night trying to sleep in the desert heat. This morning I called Air Mighty, and once again they took great care of my family. Michael came out and was extremely helpful. He was upfront about the service and everything he was doing. He confirmed what I already knew, it's time to replace the unit, but he got it working so it will hopefully get us through the next few months. Repaired HVAC botched system by previous company. After having another company install a new HVAC system 3 months ago that did not adequately cool my home and caused a major leak that ruined my ceiling, I called American Comfort Air to come and evaluate the system. Their recommendation was to replace the ductwork, relocate return vents, add new registers, add an emergency shut-off to the drip pan, add a fan in the attic and add refrigerate to the system. They also corrected the issues created by the previous company. Their staff are knowledgeable. Their evaluation and explanation of my existing system and their recommendations were clear and thorough. The installation crew completed the entire job in one day with cool air by the end of the day. They were clean, used drop cloths, and plastic sheeting to control the dust/dirt coming out of the attic and cleaned up after the installation was completed. I recommend this company for HVAC installation. 2) In this extremely hot weather on Labor Day weekend my AC compressor was not coming on. I contacted American Comfort Air and received an immediate response and scheduled a house call. He rescheduled and came earlier which I really appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and installed a hard start kit so I wouldn't have it happen again. It worked immediately and started to cool. Quick courtesy, knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonable charge. I recommend American Comfort Air for HVAC service.
