Okay, things don't always go perfectly, but I respect a shop that will work to make it right when they've gone sideways. I had a tech from AC Plus come out who was really solid on identifying the problem with my unit, but he came in with a quote that was totally unreasonable. I suggested he check with the office while he was here, but he just threw his hands up and said it was what it was. After talking with Matt, the owner, it seems like that original quote included a bunch of other things (like an extended service plan) that I just didn't need and the first tech didn't communicate those elements clearly. Matt apologized for the miscommunication and came out personally the next day to fix what needed to be fixed at a copacetic price point. I wish things had gone more smoothly with the first tech, but appreciate Matt's responsiveness and eagerness to get everything back on track. read more

Isaias Garcia from AC Plus Heating and Air was our technician. He came out to do a special tune up service. He was very thorough and laid out exactly what he found. No gouging, just two things which he showed us pictures of and explained. Had one issue with a/c not coming on the next day but the office staff very efficient and jumped on it right away....a simple fix. Then Isaias came out this week and cleaned the coils and fixed the drain again showing me pictures to show what was done. Tested the air before leaving, nice and cold. We had a single room ceiling cassette ductless system installed. The install was fast and efficient. The unit itself functions flawlessly. There were communication issues that caused some confusion and issues with the install. I initially received the wrong controller. There were nails that went through the ceiling. The owner worked hard and fixed the issues. It took longer than I would like but I appreciate the effort. I would recommend them. read more

Matt and his team did an amazing job. We hired them to replace and move our HVAC system from our laundry room to the attic. The job was quite involved - they reworked a bunch of ductwork, installed two new large return vents and moved the thermostat to just name a few items in this large job. They also did the identical job at my parents house the next week. The team was clean, polite and professional. Both jobs were finished in a timely manner. We love our new Bosch heat pump systems. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From start to finish, I had a FANTASTIC experience! I met Matt, the owner of the company, who is just such a nice guy. He is a very honest person who will go above and beyond for you. In addition, he was on time, sent me a text an hour before arriving so I could plan my day, and answered all my questions. He took the time to check everything out in order to ensure that his crew could in fact do the job. He explained everything they would have to do, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. I appreciate him taking the time to break things down. I also appreciate the fact that he never made me or my husband feel bad/uncomfortable for calling whenever we had questions. In fact, he ALWAYS answered our questions and ALWAYS answered the phone in a happy and friendly way. There was even one time my husband and I called him and he was literally stuck in the SNOW on his way to the office taking the time to answer our questions...I mean come on! Who does that?! Just such a real stand up guy. You can tell that he cares about you and the quality of his business. I think the price was beyond fair, especially for the quality of work. I got serval bids for replacing our HVAC system plus moving the furnace to the attic from the garage and his price was the best. They even built a beam in the attic for the new unit and adding lighting up there. They had the best price for doing the most work. I got to meet all the crew members and they were very kind, respectful, and professional. If you are debating who to go with, STOP!!! AC Plus is by far the best! Do yourself a favor and just go with them. You will not regret it. They have amazing reviews for a reason. They are a family owned business and it certainly shows. They treat you and your family like family. They are on time, ready to work, kind, respectful, do quality work, have wonderful communication, good prices, and above all actually care about you and your satisfaction. If there is anything you are concerned about or even unhappy with (which I doubt will happen), Matt will resolve it immediately. Again, your satisfaction is his number one priority. Lastly, they are apart of the better business bureau which is important. You have to be careful about some of these "business" that are out there. Sent request through Yelp for ac repair, this company was one that responded. They asked for my info and I provided my phone and address. Then they asked for my email, and when I told them to continue communicating via Yelp, they said they couldn't communicate, even though we were already communicating. Very weird. Regret giving too much info to this weird company process. Decided to go with someone else who didn't ask for so much personal info just to get a quote. Follow-up review: So the company called me the following day, and it turns out they were using an AI bot to respond to appointment requests. I explained that it was a lot of information to get someone to set an appointment. The owner called and offered to come and offer free diagnostic of the issue with my AC. He showed up the same day, and turns out it was a simple breaker switch. I appreciate not being charged to make up for the confusion with the answering service. The company seems to care about customer service. FYI, probably would not have been happy to pay the diagnostic fee for someone to flip a switch. That would have garnered lower stars. read more

I only use AC Plus for all of my HVAC needs. Super trustworthy friendly, knowledgeable, and their customer service is great. They are promp and arrive when stated. They are a small business, so the prices are cheaper, but their knowledge and workmanship are top-notch. There is no need to call anyone else. I've had both condensers replaced, and they are working great. No issues. I also had them install a couple of WI Fi thermostats and service my heaters. Wow, what good work. Our AC broke during the Covid 19 pandemic. My husband called on a Friday morning (as soon as they opened) and was able to have a technician come out the same day. Unfortunately, We needed a new AC unit:( AC plus was able to install the new unit on The following Monday with no issues. I gave them 4 stars because The technicians showed up late to install the new unit and we did not receive a call notifying us they were running behind. Thankfully my husband took the entire day off from work. Once they showed up and began to work, they took a lunch break in the middle of the installation. Totally understand they need to take a lunch break, however if they would have been on time, the unit would have been installed before lunch time. Again not a big issue. We are very happy with the new AC unit and are grateful for the service. Almost forgot, the same evening the AC was installed we received a phone call (I am assuming it was a manager or possibly the owner) asking if everything was ok. Very nice touch! I called late evening last week for some AC issues and due to the time I wasn't able to get serviced until the following day (which is still amazing compared to the other companies turn around time of service). Using Yelp as my point of access, a return call was placed within minutes to advise me of scheduling availability and Saturday was inked. 15 minutes prior to arriving, I received a courtesy reminder company rep was on time and arriving promptly. Matt Postoian arrived at my front door in a work uniform and well groomed. We discussed the intent of adding a whole house fan concealed in our attic to help offset our cost of running central air. We covered a lot in 30 minutes and also explained to me the steps that are taken to do this task. Presented visual displays how warm air is drawn up through attic and out to create a positive air flow system by allowing early or evening cool breeze to circulate. Attic space during summer peak months can get extremely hot and by using a whole house fan, within minutes, attic temperature is within reason thus allowing to run central air and not have to work extra hard and maintain house efficiently. It was 27 degrees outside and snow on the ground when my heater stopped blowing. I originally went to the parts dept to purchase a capacitor thinking that was why my blower wasn't working. The man there tested the capacitor and told me was still good. He gave me his business card as well as the service dept card and mentioned they have a service team that could help but did not in any way make me feel pressured to use their service. When I got home, I called to make an appt. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly nice and very helpful. She set me up with a service time for just two hours later. Sean was the tech who showed up. He was on time, calling before hand to let me know he was on his way. He was curtious, professional, and he communicated everything clearly. I felt the cost was fair - although I'm a DIYer and hate paying others to fix things for me. Sean replaced a bad circuit board. He also rewired a poorly installed blower that I was unaware was wired incorrectly. This he did free of charge. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Nice people, great service, great value. read more
