Having only recently moved to the area and never having seen or heard of this place, the long drive thru lines I kept seeing while driving by made me want to give this place a try eventually so on a night that I had zero desire to cook and a hankering for a good burger, I decided to come here: LOCATION: Busy intersection with easy access and ample parking CLEANLINESS: Drive-thru was relatively clean, but not the cleanest. I have no idea about the inside so I can't comment on that. COVID PROTOCOLS: No mask or gloves worn by Cashier 57 who helped me or other personnel inside which is surprising at a restaurant, but perhaps protocols have changed and I'm not aware. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Cashier 57 was very friendly, helpful, patient with my questions as a first timer, and spoke very clearly. He smiled a lot and was very helpful with his recommendations and what he enjoys. I appreciated that. MENU: Lots of choices in line with American fast food cuisine. Nothing mind blowing. FOOD QUALITY/TASTE: I asked for fries with no salt and was informed that they come pre-salted. This statement was made to the cashier by his manager once he'd already accepted my order and I am going to venture out and say that the cashier is full of crap bc if you're selling fresh fries that you boast about, there is no way that they can come pre-salted bc it would affect their quality, taste, and freshness so sell your BS somewhere else you terrible lying Manager and at least Google before lying! The cheeseburger I ordered was massive and that's where the GOOD ends. It had ample ingredients, but it lacked taste. I may as well have been eating cardboard. What a shame to call that a burger! I requested Swiss instead of American cheese and they did not do as requested. Disappointing! The medium Dr Pepper was huge and could be enough for 2 ppl to share. It wasn't as watered down as some places so there's that. RETURN WORTHY OR NAHHH?: Ehhhh! Take it or leave it. I was told that their breakfast burritos are great, but I'm hesitant to return and spend more money on sub-par food. Wow, this place is so overpriced now. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich combo and a Philly cheesesteak and it was $33! To top it off the food isn't that great, you can go elsewhere for a more flavorful sandwich and crispier fries. Went through the drive through for dinner yesterday and paid $26 for the food. Got home and 2 bites into my burger I find a long nasty hair in between my burger. I like 20 minutes away and by this time dinner was ruined. I called to see how they could make it right and they only offered 20% off my next visit. All I was looking for was for my meal to get replaced but they could even offer that. This was ridiculous, what makes them think I still want to eat there? Do not recommend eating here. I don't like to short-change anyone who deserves it...but it being shoved in your face at a fast food place is just ridiculous. I really enjoy the breakfast here. Got the cheesy breakfast and wife got the French toast breakfast. French toast breakfast came with eggs, bacon, four slices of French toast and sausage for 10$. Cheesy breakfast came with hash browns, toast, three eggs, two sausages, and two bacon for $13.50. The service takes a while here but I assume because they make everything when ordered (I appreciate that). I've come here before for hamburgers and it was underwhelming but breakfast hits the spot if you don't want to go sit down somewhere and is on par with an ihop or dennys, love that it has a drive thru. My daughter drove to get food and repeated the order through the drive through twice ( I was on the phone through speaker ) .. and then she got home ten miles and they messed up the order .. I called after she got home and paying 50.00 dollars for three items of food .. which is pretty high for a drive through ., the food has been good for the most part but costly , when I told the manager what happened she told me to drive back to the restaurant.. Noticed this place while I was on my road trip to San Diego. Needed something that felt a little traditional and laid back since I was eating at major chains for the past few days. I went for lunch and ordered something that I didn't expect to blow my mind. I've had many cobb salads in my life but didn't expect this to be on par with a major portion of my childhood. Extremely satisfied, I decided to order another item: the pastrami sandwich and fried zucchini. That was everything I needed at the moment and really fit the chill vibes of the interior. Been seeing this place fir 2years since I moved to Menifee. Went for brunch today. Ordered the senior special: "Two eggs, scrambled, bacon, and whole wheat toast." Order taker didn't understand it was a senior special, so I had to point it out then repeat bacon and whole wheat. Then ordered a burger, fries, and soda for my wife. He rang it up , then I added coffee. This caused great consternation. Server brings my coffee, but no soda. Somehow, in re-ringing it, we lost the soda. I got up to get my wife's soda--took forever waiting for 2other people to place an order. Then, of course, I had to go to the other end of the counter and wait to het someone's attention. On 02/13/21 my husband and I went inside and ordered 2 chicken fried steak breakfasts. When we received our order, we took it in the patio and opened the boxes only to find eggs, hash browns and toast. I went back to the counter to let them know about the error. It took a while for them to comprehend we didn't receive the country fried steak and gravy....I had to explain the error several times! When the girl finally brought us the country fried steak there was no gravy! WTH?! I had to take it back for the gravy! Horrible experience and no apology was given! Super disappointed. Went for breakfast. We just moved into the area. Super exhausted. Still no access to cooking supplies. We were hoping for a decent meal . My husband ordered eggs over hard with toast and hash browns. They were over easy and ended up getting trashed. My bacon burrito was correct but flavorless . I always see the Yellow Basket on the way to Target but its a chain I'm not familiar with. My sis-in-law has eaten here before & got the burgers & hot dogs so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Right off the bat, $16.45 for lunch for 2 people in a fast food joint is a tad high. I waited for the execution before rushing into my final judgement though(!) What came was such a disappointment it pretty much sealed the deal that I'll never come back. My patty melt was soaking in oil but oddly not that crisp. It was about a inch thick; including the patty & 2 pieces of bread. My hubs had a gyro that had a 2 suspicious sheets of gyro meat that resembled bologna. I paid $18.19 for a Caesar salad with 2 hard boiled eggs added and it was disgusting. The hard boiled eggs were also over cooked. I thought they charged me incorrectly cause that price is insane for a Caesar salad, especially one that tasted horrible, so my husband called and asked how much it would be with 2 eggs added and they told him it would be $17.50.
