Service and Food were AMAZING! Appetizers and Drinks were better than the entrees in my opinion but all very delicious. read more

We stumbled upon this restaurant when visiting Baltimore for a friend's birthday celebration. After a whiskey tour closeby we decided to eat here. The birthday girl is BIG on supporting black owned business but didn't want the stress of too much planning, so we took a chance on Yebo. No reservation or anything, party of 13! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the bartender with a huge smile and immediately seated in the back deck area. I knew by the smell we were in the right place. From the customer service, to the AMAZING FOOD (we probably had mostly everything off the menu - don't forget the Brussels!), BOMB playlist, and Vibe - We had no complaints and will be taking the trip again just to try their brunch. I honestly can't think of a better black experience at home in Philly. Keep up the great work, YEBO! read more

The food and service was amazing! It is a whole vibe!!! Our server, Naj was amazing and she knew the menu well! The food was fabulous and pleaseee get the butter cake! The only thing that I'm sure they are aware of is the need for a possible new kitchen exhaust because the restaurant was very smoke filled. That was the only observant improvement I'd make note of. Otherwise, we loved it and plan to return because the greatness outweighed the exhaust concern read more

Great black owned and operated experience. Food was very good and the vibe was on point

The food was delicious, but just need improvement on the service (as far as the wait). Also, a suggestion is to put curtains up at the windows of the private room. I would return for the food!! Plan to go back to experience other items on the menu!! read more

I was unable to even try the menu because despite having reservations that were set weeks ago, we were unable to be seated. We had waited over an hour and still not seated so we left . Not sure if I would try again after the treatment I endured. read more

Went for Thursday happy hour and tried a few things. The food and the service was great. The drinks were tasty as well. Cute front and back patios for seating. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the fried rice. Try everything but the rice and you will be more than satisfied. read more

Yebo, Yebo, YEBO! This place is out of this world from the hostess that seated us to our server, Ty. She was very gracious and more then accommodating. The decor and the ambiance is breathtaking. I ordered a lobster bisque and was looking for him to bring me a bowl of soup. To my surprise, he bought me a deep fried lobster tail over a bisque with real lobster meat in it. OMG, this was the best lobster I have ever eaten... My only complaint is they serve you too much food for the rediculous low price they charge. I went there for a Sunday brunch with my family. I can't wait to go back for dinner. This was my first time there but I promise, it will not be my last. I have been touting for 2 days about this place. Thanks for the wonderful service and GREAT food you serve. read more

The table wait time, the service, vibe and food wait time were all five stars! I went with a group of four for brunch and we ordered shrimp and grits, jerk wings, lobster fried rice, hot cakes, and butter cake to share. My favorites were the shrimp and grits, the hot cakes and butter cake for sure! The lobster fried rice was good but the breading was a little salty for me and I'm not a jerk wings fan so I only had one but my friends enjoyed them. The passion fruit and mojito mint tea mocktails were very refreshing and scored all five stars for us. There were some other items we wanted to order but they were on the dinner menu so I guess we'll have to go back for round two. read more

We came from out of town for Valentine's night and were about 20 minutes late for our reservation, and though they were at capacity, they held our seat and sat us immediately. There was a special 5 course dinner menu and everything was delicious. The ambience was very nice, service was on point, and the food was delicious. We'll be back read more

I wanted to really love this spot, but two things made me leave feeling like this place was a miss. First, the prices don't feel like they meet the value. $22 for a leeche martini with basic ingredients. $16 for 2 crab egg rolls? We planned to have entire meal, but the bartender was slow and ignore us for a good while. It took 25 mins to get our first drink and they were not that busy. By the time our drinks were finally ready my friend went to close the tab as we were already moved to a table for better service, and they charged 20% gratuity on the total! Which this bartender did not deserve. So 2 Martinis = $55. They werent even full. We enjoyed the egg rolls; they were delishish, fresh, and hot. But we left and went somewhere else in the neighborhoodthst was a better value and better service. Our waiter at the table, Noah, he was great. The bartender (name started with an M) is not a positive vibe for what this place is working hard to be. read more

This place was amazing. The service was exceptional. The level of professionalism was extraordinary, from the host, the waitress and bar tenders. The ambiance was very inviting. A little on the loud side in the dinning area but not overwhelming. The food was EVERYTHING! The green tea drink they made (that was not on the drink menu) for us moved to the number one spot in my book for best green tea I have ever had. I highly recommend the restaurant to couples, a girls night out, etc. Thanks YeBo Kitchen for your warm hospitality! read more

We never even made it to table because the front end was so disorganised. I had reservations for 6, and they couldn't figure out how to save a table. My group stood in the hall for an hour and a half as other groups walked in and were seated- without reservations- ahead of us. At least the hostess gave us water. Zero stars. read more

As a recent transplant to Baltimore, I always looking for places to visit to get a feel for the heartbeat of the city. When the opportunity arose for me to support a black owned business in the area I jumped on the opportunity. Here's an overview of my experience. Note this is my experience and my experience alone and should not detour you from experiencing this establishment. The goal of this review is to provide constructive feedback. Ambience: The esthetic is sleek and clean. If you know anything about Baltimore you know that the city was built tall not wide, with that being said when it gets crowded it can be hard to maneuver through. When we arrived we were quoted a 10 to 15 minute wait time for an outside table. I appreciated that the host forewarned us that the kitchen and bar were a little backed up and even if we get seated soon there could be a little wait for food and drinks. By doing this small gesture (much appreciated) it myself and my party to make a decision if we wanted to stay. We decided to stay. Unfortunately out wait for a table was about 30 + min. On the up side we were able to order a delicious drink from the bar called the JSpot. I loved the open kitchen concep. We were seated on the back patio area which is a great space if you are there to just consume drinks and share an appetizer, but not for dining. The tables are extremely low and small, but we made it work. Food: I had the salmon and grits. Now as a GRITS ( Girl Raised In The South) I would say I know a thing or two about how to make some good creamy grits. The grits were a nice creamy consistency and my salmon was cooked to perfection. The only thing is that it needed a tad bit more seasoning in the grits. Other dishes that were consumed included the hot cakes, lobster fried rice and jerk chicken wings all which were decent. Service: The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I loved who the basic color scheme was black, but they were able to add their personal style to their uniform. We received our for in a timely fashion and there was always someone removing dishes from the table once we completed a dish. Here's were my experience took a downturn. Once we closed out the bill ($180+) we were outside waiting on our Uber when our server approached us stating that we still owe $32. I asked to see the bill we paid and the bill saying we owe extra. We ordered a carafe of Sangria that came up to $40 on our bill, but the new bill stated the carafe was $65. I expressed this felt like a scam and I was not paying it. She went and told her manager and they agreed to comp the remaining balance. I'm not sure if there was a glitch in their POS system but I was a little disappointed in that. Overall I will give this place another shot in the future and I wish the owner much success. read more

Visited Yebo Kitchen last week after work after seeing it all over my social media. I wasn't disappointed. Nice intimate spot. I sat outside in the closed in patio. Service was great. I didn't wait long at all to be greeted and sat at a table. I ordered the potatoes and ribs, which both were very good. What took it over the top for me was that butter cake!! It was everything!! I had to take one to go...execellent. Matter of fact, I may make a quick run over there right now just to get one. LOL read more

This spot has a lot of potential. I think there are some upgrades that need to be made ambiance wise. The music was pretty loud and the seating is a bit too tight in the back food was okay, but i was disappointed that the branzino was breaded and fried- and it wasn't flavorful. The jerk wings were really good. So i give it a 3, I'll try again in the summer and maybe sit outside but it was a flop for a date night read more

Food, service & ambiance all exceeded my expectations. Nice vibe. Servers & host(esses) were all very cheerful and attentive. The only drawback was that a lot of the dishes contained shellfish. i was told that most of he items that weren't, may have cross contamination. Outside of the salad, no vegetarian entrees were available. The salmon was the only choice that wasn't cross commingled with shellfish. read more

Shrimp and crab fried rice and crab cake egg rolls were amazing!! The hoisin sauce was a bit sticky on the crab so be prepared to combat sticky fingers but the flavors were on point. read more

I was recently there on Monday the food was amazing my only critique is that the Branzino fish the sauce that was on there just leave that on the side it takes away from the flavor and the crispiness of the fish... other than that everything was amazing!! read more

Food was good and service was great. The ambiance was kitschy, not fancy. You get a lot for your money.

Front of house hostess was engaging and friendly, very welcoming. I felt at home immediately. Walked by the kitchen on the way to outdoor patio and the kitchen staff were just as nice! DJ on the patio created a vibe. Food was delicious, had crab fried rice, wings, Brussels sprouts, egg rolls and shrimp and grits. Ordered way too much food but the leftovers were still good. Cocktail program outstanding too. Can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu! I didn't feel cool enough to eat there but the staff made me believe I was. read more

We were greeted with a smile and the energy was great from beginning to end. The food and merger or Asian and African American culture was unmatched. We sat outside with a live dj and enjoyed the vibe on a Friday night. The drinks were amazing ams the food came out super fast. We enjoyed crab rolls, Chinese ribs , lamb chops and fried fish. This is my second time and the vibes were vibing. read more

Overrated and overpriced. Service was excellent. Crab eggrolls were delicious sauce made them, would have preferred lump crab meat. Brussel sprouts tasty but too much sauce. Nothing special about the wings. Salmon and grits were good. Butter cake was very dry and could taste the baking soda sent it back without a problem. Drinks overpriced for a restaurant that doesn't even providea cloth napkins. read more

What's not to love about this place? The atmosphere is incredible. It's got a swanky, modern-vintage cozy vibe perfect for drinks after work, date night, or a quick business meeting. The food was INCREDIBLE! I had the Asian ribeye and it was perfectly cooked and artfully complimented by shiitake mushrooms and an arugula salad with cucumbers and diced tomatoes. Well done Chef! Excited to try the rest of their food as I love how they incorporate Asian flavors. What's best to love about this place is their staff. I came in VERY early...like well before they opened... and the chef graciously offered to fix me an incredible meal despite the register not being open. He was so kind, warming both my heart and belly with his generosity! The chef, and the rest of the staff that I saw when I came back to pay, went above and beyond with their service. These folks deserve the hype!! Come down and try it-- after 5pm when they open ;) read more

This was a roll of the dice. The menu looked eclectic, but cool. I got there ahead of my partner and chatted with the owners, Ashley and Diedre, along with Lindsay, the bartender. The atmosphere was really chill, low lighting and hip. All three ladies were delightful. Ashley and I talked about how the restaurant got started and was completely engaging. Lindsay had anorder of crab egg rolls behind the bar. They looked amazing. I ordered some and confirmed for myself, yep, amazing. We were seated in a quiet, elegantly lit dining room - again, just the perfect vibe. I ordered the shrimp and grits and beef wontons. It's easy to screw up grits. These were among the best I've had. While wontons seem pedestrian, these were anything but. Crispy and remarkably flavorful. We also had the salmon cakes, which were completely on point, as were the Chinese ribs. If you're from Baltimore, you have a culinary gem. If you're heading to Baltimore, this must be on your list. And while I adore Ashley. D, and Lindsay, they didn't pay me for this review. ;) read more

This is the best restaurant I've been to so far in Baltimore. The first thing is the island wings. They are extremely crispy on the outside and infinitely tender on the inside. The lobster mashed potatoes were so creamy and delicious, with the perfect texture. The waiter was super nice, and service was perfect. The environment was comfortable, and the ambiance was great with the music in the background. 11/10. (I had to order seconds on the lobster mashed potatoes) read more
