Tech went as scheduled and told me he did a quick check at the unit and then to the electrical panel. And said now if he needs to go into diagnosis, it will cost $175 , and either he can fix it OR that $175 will be used to swap a new unit at $4xx. Since I'm remote, I can only agree to it to move forward. 10mins later, got a call from the tech saying, "there are good and bad news! Good news, the unit was indeed completely fine and it's working alright. The unit was slightly "UNPLUGGED" from the outlet and it works perfectly after I plugged it back in. Bad news, the $175 is due. " I appreciate that the "diagnosis" save me hundreds instead of replacing a fully working unit, but I would have thought the first free initial check should have looked at the connection in the first place. Definitely feel a bit rip off BUT they did give me a small discount in the end. I'm not expecting free work BUT $150 to get someone out to plug it back in? Is that the norm?

He discovered a slab leak and listed several options. He is probably one of the most "real one's" there are out there. He does not just come to do a job, but genuinely cares about each of his customers. He tries to establish a relationship with his customers by making it feel like he is taking care of a family member. He tries to get to know you and is willing to hold a conversation with you and hear you out. Plumbing issues can be very expensive and Stephen is sensitive to that. It is never a great time to get plumbing work done, but Stephen is there to talk with you, hear you out, and just be someone who genuinely cares about the customer. I will be using Jim and Son's for any plumbing needs in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone. I wish I remembered the name of the other plumber that helped him out during the job, but he was awesome as well. Again, he understood the importance of customer service and making sure that customers are left with a great experience in addition to getting the work done. 6/5 stars if I could.

Angie took my call and quickly found a same day appointment. She was very courteous, understanding, and was patient when listening to my concerns and questions. She had James dispatched later that same afternoon and was punctual. Let me tell you, they know what they are doing and are properly equipped!! Very courteous to boot! James respected my home and mother who greeted him when he arrived. He proceeded to identify the issue and had my drain hydro jetted. He informed me through the whole process and really made me feel comfortable with the work he was performing. He is one of the Son's and I would call him over again in a heartbeat. I'm really impressed and pleased with the service where George really put his customer first by responding timely and offering his professional opinion to really address the issue. Our disposal and both kitchen sinks had been backed up for a few days with slow drainage.. I did everything I thought I could to get the drains unclogged, Liquid Plummer, Boiling Water, Vinegar and Baking Soda mixture repeated over several days but nothing worked! I called Righty Tighty this afternoon based on their Yelp reviews and their office set up an appointment for me right away.. Justin had called to introduce himself and advised he'd be arriving in an hour. He and his associate arrived as promised, asked a few questions, checked the sink and gave us his expert opinion. He was up front in the pricing, did not have to upsell anything and was very efficient. Plumbing issues are usually always a dreaded nightmare for people who know nothing about pipes and plumbing etc.. I was skeptical to even pick a plumbing company because stereotypically you hear discouraging things. At any rate, We are beyond pleased with today's service and with this company!! The line was snaked, Justin kept us involved by showing us the clogged areas with the mini camera and advised what he was doing and going to do. I don't think so however, they don't offer a "guarantee", so that the charge that you pay for them to snake your outside drain the first time is exactly that the first time. They want to know you for 375 each and every subsequent visit. I have two words for them one begins with an F the other one begins with a U. They didn't seem to have super high intellect, but I bet you they can guess what it is. They're con men, rather con Cowboys If the service doesn't work in three or four days, they'll come back out but you have to repay the service so you have to pay $375 twice. That's just their policy. Every time I would voice a complaint the one cowboy would say I hear you ma'am. I'm glad he heard me, however, he did absolutely nothing to remedy: ie, help with looking into alternatives, call a supervisor, scratch his ass, other than say "I hear ya ma'am" pleasant enough, however after the sixth time - worthless - makes you angry in fact. It's like "well get back on your horses boys and head back to Texas and take your ugly ass machine with you" Ready, tidy plumbing con artists they want to nail you for a service call no matter if it's an hour after your service or two hours or a day, two days, three days, four days, It's just their policy. I put in for pricing and availability. I got an immediate quote that was incredibly reasonable. Giovanni came out in less than two hours. He got the old ones out and new ones in very quickly. He explained everything that was done. He tested everything out and we were good to go. He was very friendly and professional. He even asked if there was anything else we needed him to look at while he was here. At the end, the quote was the final price. Highly recommend!
