I've had Scott doing my AC services for over 10 years now and he's remarkable! Scott really does know his stuff and loves his work. He is HONEST, reasonable in his pricing, and his wife, Marissa, is adorable. I just had my AC go out and thought it was the thermostat. I replaced the batteries - nothing. I checked the circuit breakers - nothing. Scott came in and found the problem to be an electrical cord in the attic! Don't hesitate to call him. I think he's the best in the business! read more

Scott Heady and Joaquin, and Scott's wife Marrisa. Where do I start. I first called and talked to Marrisa, what a delight. She had Scott contact me, which he did immediately. We discussed what our main problem was, and he set up an appointment right then. When Scott showed up, this man knows his stuff. He found the last company, had cut the filter in half, and just stuck it into the heater, he just put in 6 months ago. Then he showed us more WRONG things that were 75% of our problem. So he said, he would write an estimate and drop it off. He could have emailed or text it to us, but he was front and center. The I kinda procrastinated about the price, with my Dad. In which, after about a 10 days or so. I let Scott know we where on. So Scott and Joaquin showed up Monday morning and got to work. Any questions I had or anything one or the other had the answer. Needless to say, they did the work in 4 or 5 days. And WOW, our home actually gets cold, and we didnt need to purchase a 15,000.00 AC. Scott Marrisa & Joaquin thank you for all your time, work, and conversations. I would and will recommend SCOTT HEADY for people's repair or purchase of AC/Heating. read more

Great service, Scott really cares about his customers and tries to make sure they're taken care of. Our SC went out at 6pm on a 100'degree day and he came out late to see what was wrong, then was in line for a replacement compressor first thing in the morning. The AC was blowing cold again after lunch. Thanks Scott! read more

We had an issue with our upstairs furnace not turning on. Scott was able to come to us same day to assess the problem. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was incredibly honest. He pointed out the issues and explained everything down to the operations and safety of the system (that a layperson like me was able to understand). I initially reached out to this company based off of their reviews and it is clear that their reputation proceeds them. Scott stands by his word and his work, and he has earned a lifelong customer. Thank you again! read more

Scott and Marissa are awesome. Scott came out right away and assessed our system. It is a fairly new system that we had put in about 3 yrs ago, but it wasn't cooling the house down very well. We called Scott, and he came out and checked it out and found a freon leak. Well, he sealed it, and it got cooler instantly. He also checked the cooling vents inside and told us our system was good but was only running at 65% capacity. So if we changed our registers and added a couple more ducts, we could get it running at full capacity and save money on our utilities and also better for the system(which we did) We did not feel any pressure at any time like we usually do with repairmen to do anything we didn't need or want. He is very friendly and explains everything to you and lets you know what you can do and doesn't try and make you feel like you have to do anything you don't want or feel able to do. They offer payments as well. This is good for when you can't swing the whole thing as we sometimes cannot. Marissa is also very helpful and is always there to answer any questions and concerns. Do not hesitate to call them you will not be sorry. We look forward to dealing with them for all our cooling and heating from now on. read more

There is nothing more annoying than when the AC unit decides to stop working mid-summer during a heatwave in the Inland Empire. Luckily, there's Scott Heady of Scott Heady Air Conditioning to save the day -- and possibly other unnecessary expenses that competitor HVAC companies will charge. His friendly attitude, honesty, hard work, and fair pricing set him apart from other companies and easily make him the top choice for all your HVAC needs. With Scott's decades-worth of experience and knowledge, I highly recommend him to anyone who needs HVAC services! read more

We had a problem with our air conditioning system leaking condensation through the ceiling. Scott came out ahead of the scheduled appointment and was able to diagnose and fix the problem. Scott was very professional, and his fee was very reasonable. Also, he made no effort to upsell and offered us reasonable options should our system require additional repairs. read more

Scott is amazing! I would give 10 stars if I could. Our AC went out in the summer right before we were hosting. Scott went out of his way to fit us in the same day we called for help and quickly resolved our issue despite it being in the middle of the night. He was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, considerate of our home (brought his own shoe covers), and reliable. Scott saved our summer. Highly recommend! read more

Scott is incredibly knowledgeable on air conditioning systems and how they interact with the environment of your home, and he's willing to tell you exactly what he's doing with your system and why. I really appreciated how upfront he was and how he never tried a hard sell on anything, he focused on educating me on how the system works, how maintenance can effect its performance, etc. He's also really friendly and great to talk to. I understand why all these other reviews are saying "He's my AC guy now", because yeah, he's my AC guy now. read more

I got quotes from 4 companies but went with Scott Heady even though his quote wasn't the cheapest. I learned so much from him about what my house really needed. Unlike the other companies, he spent way more time measuring airflow in each room and designing a super efficient system that could handle my high humidity problems (lots of aquariums in house) and also having an energy efficient system to save on energy bills. In the end I'm 100% convinced I got the best bang for the buck by going with them. don't get caught up on HVAC guys trying to sell you on "specs" and also don't make the beginner mistake of chasing the cheapest bid. Go with experience. read more

Most knowledgeable, kind and capable hvac engineer who *literally* saved us during a August heat spell when our a/c up and died (it was 86 degrees inside). Turns out my avg $350mo summer electric bill is probably due to an inefficient system installed by the builder, and replaced -in part- 4 years later. Scott got my a/c up and running now, and we're planning to keep the existing furnace and replace the a/c system in the fall. Call Scott; he'll get back to your initial call quickly, get you scheduled, and, most importantly, you can trust him. (Shout out to his wife, Marissa, for updates re Scott's arrival and referrals for an electrician. They make a great team!) read more

Came to my house charged 85 fee to diagnose to tell me I needed a new air conditioning unit. Ok so how much? $11000. He is charging me 9,000 in labor and I am saying I buy a very expensive unit. Just a complete rip off. Overcharging like this is criminal. For $11000 my whole house should be changed not just 1 AC unit and the inside portion. Got someone else to come and it will be $4000 way more realistic only trying to make 100% profit not like this company which wants to pocket 500% profit. To answer the owners response noone here is doing anything illegal nor cutting corners. Never asked for this so please dont make up things to explain your unjustifiable cost. People should know you charge more than other legal, permitted and certified companies so they dont waste $85 like I did. If someone had written this review I would have opted for a different company and not sweated for an extra couple of days read more

Very very satisfied with the service Scott provided for our home. He explained everything so well answered my every question. Great service and awesome work! We are extremely happy with our new AC. It is so quite, you can't even hear it! I highly recommend them. Thank you, Scott!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this business, specifically Scott and Marissa. I was away from home while a family' member was staying in our MoVal house. Of course 2 days after we left (in the middle of 100+ degree days) the AC decides to only pump out hot air. It was 87 in the house. I used my most excellent Yelping skills and went looking for someone that could take a look at the unit. I am so thankful I found Scott Heady Air Conditioning . Marissa was so prompt in returning my call within just a few minutes. She worked with my sister and managed to get help the same day. I know the unit needs to be replaced but would prefer doing so in the fall/winter. Scott agreed and was able to get the unit operating again. It still needs to be replaced but there was never a hard sale trying to get me to spend the $$$ now. Thank you both for making a stressful situation so much more pleasant. read more

Scott and Marissa are the BEST! My HVAC system was old and duct work was full of holes. I requested a quote from him and about 10 other companies, (in approx. April) months before I was able to move forward with a new HVAC and duct system. He was, by far, the most impressive and knowledgeable out of all of the companies. These other companies were mom&pops, I found on Yelp, to Costco's HVAC contractor. This is a big purchase for a home and I wanted to make sure that I made the correct choice. I bugged him and Marissa over the next few months with random questions. They were always very informative and helpful. Many times, Scott would even want to meet face to face to make sure that I fully understood the answers to my questions. During this whole time he was never pushy and never asked if I was ready to get the system put in. I was finally able to move forward with the install in November. Their communication and timeline of when the install would take place, how long it would take, and how much everything would cost was right on. If Scott was not available, his wife/assistant, Marissa, would keep the communication open and also, answer any questions that I had. During the install, they were courteous of my home, my family, and my pups. He finished on time. The system passed its tests and permits with flying colors. We have had the system installed for about 3 months now and are extremely happy that we trusted Scott and Marissa with this investment. They are the best and worth every penny. read more

As luck would have it my AC died on the day our heatwave started - My daughter started calling around to find someone who would come out asap-ish. She got a hold of Scott and he let her know he could come out Thursday after 5pm... Scott showed up later than 5 - no big deal..and he was ready to get to it! He worked whatever magic and sure as sh*t, I have a working AC! The cost was SO much less than I was expecting! He was a friendly and funny guy and i will definitely do business with him again. And will happily recommend him to anyone I know!! read more

Thank You Scott for your great service and reasonable prices will definitely be coming back ;)

Having to manage a house long distance has it's problems. The tenants called to say that the a/c was making a strange sound. I got out on Yelp and found Scott. I called and had them make arrangements with the tenants. Scott kept to his promised schedule, came in found a small problem, fixed it and left. He is now our a/c guy and has the account. His office staff is professional and polite. Thank you Scott! read more

We have had two service calls with Scott Heady Air Conditioning this year. Both were fantastic experiences. The first call was this past winter when our aging FAU blower motor died. Scott returned my call promptly and was on site later that day. He identified the issue and had it up and running in no time -- even after running out to get a replacement motor. Scott's pricing was extremely reasonable as I couldn't have sourced a motor and done it myself for much less than he charged. The second service visit was completed today for the A/C compressor that seized up two nights ago. Scott was able to come earlier than expected and get the unit swapped out and purring like a kitten. Scott and his staff are very professional, clean, and respectful of the environment in which they service. Calls are are either answered right away or a return call is received within minutes. Their pricing is outstanding. Scott's knowledge and experience is obvious and he can explain issues and problems in a common language -- he isn't trying to BS you into something you don't need. He will make suggestions and let you decide, so no pressure in purchasing anything you don't feel comfortable with. read more

Scott and his wife were very helpful in helping me troubleshoot and fix my AC system during the hot Riverside summer! They first had me try to fix the system myself by washing down the condenser and changing out the filter. However once this didn't work, Scott was out on my property the next day trying to fix it. However he did not have the time to fix it that day so we rescheduled for shortly after! The next time he was very quick and professional. I just wish he would've been a little cleaner with the job inside when fixing the orientation of an AC vent as it left a bunch of particles on the floor. Overall Scott did a very good job with diagnosing the problem and fixing it! His prices matched the estimate, which were very reasonable for the repairs he had to complete. Thanks Scott, I would definitely recommend his services to anyone needed AC maintenance in the Riverside area! read more

My air conditioning stopped working 8/24. Got on Yelp on 8/25 in the morning and got a reply back from Scott in about 6 minutes saying he was available today. Gave them a call and the appointment was set between 10a.m. to 1 p.m. Marissa called at 11 to tell me Scott would be at my house in 15 minutes. He arrived at 11:15 and took a quick look at my system and quickly fixed it with a part change and then checked all the voltages and cleaned up the condenser unit. Its working nice and sounds way better. Then I asked him several other questions regarding making the system more efficient and from there he went into details of how the HVAC system properly installed and maintained should work and I was very impressed. I not only got a great repair man for my air conditioner today but I think I have a new friend. What a wonderful, smart, and truly honest down to earth person. The other reviews claiming how nice it was to have Scott at their houses are not lies. You wont be disappointed if you call Scott. read more

Very down to earth and professional. Had Scott come out to take a look at my ac unit, which had frozen over lines. He got out there within 2 hours, squeezed me in between other calls. He was able to trouble shoot my problem quickly, and had everything needed to get us back to a cool house right then. Would recommend him and his business to anyone in need! He won't steer you wrong, and won't try to sell you something you don't need. Thanks Scott! read more

Very professional and timely. It was a pleasure to have him at my house. My house has a wonderful cool breeze. Thank you very much.

Called several HVAC companies to get quotes for a complete overhaul, we needed a new compressor outside and new chiller/furnace inside. He beat the price of the lowest guy by 4k. One contractor wanted 14k Scott did it for 3k! And he did it fast, 2 days. To be honest his price was so low that I was real skeptical about what kind of work he would do... I told him that, so he did the work first and than I paid him. I'm writing this 3 years later sitting on my couch at 11pm and it's 80° outside but not inside! (^= read more

We have used Scott for about 8 months now for our rental properties and his most recent job was a installation of a complete HVAC system replacing a unit that was 30+ years old. His workmanship is excellent. He works clean, organized and does not waste time. He went above and beyond doing a few "extras" for us that we more than appreciated. He gave us a Saturday installation and worked tirelessly and focused well into dark. We are more than happy with his service and prices are fair and reasonable. We use many Vendors and he is one of the best. We will continue to use him on our rental properties! read more
